They were available for to lay a few kitchen tiles on a weekend at a reasonable rate yet had to leave early or have time to do the Laundry Room as expected. They left before I got home & I noticed the replacement -Kitchen additional tile gout lines -spaces were spaces a bit wider-thicker than the neighboring - existing tiles, I was happy that they were able to lay several Kitchen Tiles on a Saturday Morning within a weeks notice. Yet they skipped the laundry area and a couple of corners in the kitchen so I had to hire another tile company to finish the laundry and a few more pieces in the kitchen yet they told me that the floor tiles that were just installed should be redone. When I asked Al if he would accept a Zele Payment & or Check I noticed there was no business address and he only accepts cash so we had to keep rescheduling a time to meet. Although the work was not acceptable to the other tile guy IMO it was satisfactory. read more

Never have I hired someone without a referral from a Friend but I trust yelp reviews so I decided to call Alan on a whim. He was at my house within an hour, and off we went! He has energy to spare! I went with my gut feeling on this guy and it really turned out awesome! Not only did he find the slab of marble that I had a sample of but he picked me up at my home the next day and drove me to several slab yards. He even treated me to lunch! We found the slab and within a week it was installed! I am VERY picky about quality and I can assure you, NEVER before has anyone cared as much as this group. His "kids" as he calls them (they aren't really but he treats them as such) did a beautiful job on the install and fabricating. They aren't JUST employees. They were neat and careful and VERY nice guys. I will be doing my kitchen soon and these dudes are mine for life! He also treats you as if he has known you forever. What I like the most about Alan is his energy and willingness to think in the shoes of the customers. When he was doing our kitchen, not only he thought about the counter job itself, but also how the counter top would fit into our kitchen. Running a small business is not easy, but he has always been reachable on the phone for questions and he went to the stone yard with us a couple of times to make sure that we pick the right slabs. Those are just very small examples. If you're planning a granite counter top, give Alan a call. We recently had our kitchen & master bath done by Capri Stone. We had talked with three other fabricators & Alan was right in line dollar-wise with the other two. Alan was absolutely wonderful when it came time to select our stone. With his help, we made some good decisions. I had picked out one piece of quartz for our bath area & Alan gave me good reasons why it would not have been our best choice! His knowledge of what was good & what wasn't good was so helpful when making that critical decision. We went with another selection & it has turned out so beautifully, we are very pleased. I am so glad we listened to him! We did our kitchen counters in a gorgeous black granite with iridescent "flakes" in it, & I have to say, it is just stunning. Alan & his crew did an outstanding job. There were many difficult angles to consider, as well as some very small, decorative cut-out areas for light & those had to be trimmed carefully with a matching tile. My husband & I are very, very happy with the results! We did have one problem in the shower area of the bath & Alan was as good as his word - if anything was not quite right, he would be quick to come back & make it right, which he did! Alan. 1. You never showed up at my house. Except the first time. Never with a crew!!!!! You never picked up the granite or ever went to see it. I spoke with the granite yard. They said you were never there!!! Stop the lies. That's why you said we had three slabs. NO we didn't. AND it was $1,200 dollars difference. You were $1,200 higher and you wanted me to split it with you. There was no template cuz you hadn't come back to measure anything. Bottom line, You were mad cuz we found someone cheaper, it was the first time you were ever here that YOU offered to go look at stuff for the bathroom, you offered and said "I'll just go with you to help". we weren't doing it for months, why would I spend the money. AND the contractors license board said it is against the contractors license to take a deposit of more than 10% which is what you asked for $1,300 to be exact. They want all the info on this. So hmm. Alan is a such a wonderful person. My wife was 9 months pregnant with our first child when I urgently needed holes drilled into my existing granite countertop to install a water filtration system and soap dispenser. I know it's not his typical request and Alan was gracious enough to help me out and perform the service for a minimal fee. The day Alan was supposed to come over, my wife's water broke and we had to run to the hospital to deliver our baby boy! After looking further into the water filter and soap dispenser, the holes I needed were different than the tooling that Alan had on hand. Almost 1 month later, I'm still in search for a Granite fabricator that can help me out to drill a 1" and 1/2" hole without charging me an arm and a leg :\ Unfortunately, the other Granite places I've called aren't as understanding of my situation as Alan. Although, I eventually didn't get to work with Alan, I will definitely keep him in mind for any future needs. I got my granite installed only a few hours ago and I'm so happy that I had to share it. Alan was amazing all the way through the process. I am so unfamiliar with anything to do with buying/installing granite and Alan was the only one of the three bids I got that bothered to take the time to educate me.Right from the start he treated me more like a friend than a customer. The customer service he provided was so far beyond his competitors. And when it came to picking out the granite, he talked to me about what I like and then he did the foot work for me - searching for the right pieces at the right prices. Then he showed me pictures and I went to see the pieces myself. This saved me so much time and he found the perfect granite for me at a price that was far less than I expected. Today was installation day and everything went smoothly and looks great. Alan made sure that I was completely satisfied before leaving. I am so grateful to him for everything he did to make this experience so wonderful.
