I found this gem to do a birthday lunch for my mom. I'll just say this, this place is WAY too nice for the location it's in. It's in a little plaza between a Panda Express and a Jimmy John's . It's literally a gem. DECOR: Wow. So nice. It's beautiful. They even have an area that looks as if it was carved out of the side of a mountain (Italy vibes for sure). There are also trees but coming off the walls, high up by the ceiling. It's very nice. Even the balsamic vinegar bottle looks authentic. I was told by someone that works there that they were going to be extending the restaurant to make a bar area. I am sure it'll be a success. FOOD: Very, very good. And the portions are fantastic. It's like what it used to be to be in the early 2000s (really good tasting food and big portions). You definitely won't leave hungry here. The wine is very good too. SERVICE: Very good. I've already gone back and had great service both times. This place is fantastic. Heads up, there's barely any parking outside and you need reservations. Definitely was a winner, came into town overnight to go on a cruise tomorrow out of Miami and nothing near hotel except a small strip mall that Capriccio was in. Great staff, very friendly and knowledgeable, and so polite We ordered a few dishes, all incredibly delicious. Beef lasagna tasted like grandma's, the mushroom risotto with truffle presentation was incredible as was the flavor and the beef Milanese was huge and we enjoyed every bite. Last evening in Miami we were looking for a casual dinner location near our airport hotel and found Capriccio thru YELP Easy access location with plenty of parking available the restaurant is casual dress but its decor is intimate and warm as well as larger then anticipated The restaurant provides complimentary foccaccia and it was delicious. Our bet was this was a great indicator of their pizza and it was! We split a Caesar salad as an appetizer- easily big enuff for 3 people to share. Greens were fresh and my wife enjoyed the croutons which were smaller then typical Our entree was the prosciutto pizza and when they say prosciutto they mean it! If I had a scale I would have asked, it looked like 2lbs of prosciutto were on top of the pie! The prosciutto was the most delicate and tender ive had and the crust on the pizza was thin and crispy but not too waferish Service was friendly and available whenever needed and the restaurant was very clean. read more

Went to Capriccio to celebrate a graduation, we were a big group and from the moment I called to reserve Claudia on the phone was amazing! Then on the night of the dinner we also had amazing service with Fernando, even when we were over 20 people he was friendly, fast & helpful! The restaurant looks amazing inside, with trees and a very rustic Italian vibe... now what takes the night is the FOOD, their menu offers a lot of options specially the pastas, like I wanted to try them all the flavors on everything I tried was delicious, authentic and freshly made! Really loved the Gnocchi with Pistachio Pesto & the Cartoccio Also save space for dessert cause they have a good variety (I didnt save space but some of my friends did and they said they were all incredible, so I learned my lesson for my next visit I'm coming for the dessert too lol). read more

We were staying at a near by when we noticed Capriccio's. Decided to have pizza for dinner. Walked in & was instantly greeted by a nice gentleman (may have been owner). The restaurant has just what you would see in Italy, cozy with dim lighting. The bread that was served with our drinks was awesome, fresh & tasty. We ordered pizza, each wanting something different. I went for the second time and still one of the best spot if you are craving Italian food. I didn't have a reservation but they were accommodating. I sat in the second half of the restaurant that's decorated like I'm inside a cute cave. I tried some new dishes that were amazing. This visit, though, was let down by both the noise and the service. A large party of loud teenagers was allowed to go unchecked for most of the meal, and the staff made no effort to address it. On top of that, the service itself was lackluster -- the staff wasn't warm or friendly, which made the experience feel even less enjoyable. The acoustics in this restaurant are practically nonexistent, so once the room gets loud, it's nearly impossible to hear the people you're sitting with. It's a shame, because the food deserves better than this but between the poor acoustics, the unmanaged noise, and the unwelcoming service, I'd hesitate to come back. read more

We searched for the best food near to our restaurant and walked to Capriccio as it had great reviews and we wanted Italian. Service was excellent and we shared the Gnocchi and Tenderloin which was excellent. The gnocchi was delicious, the beef tender and the white wine sauce was *chefs kiss*. 2nd time at this location which is very clean and inviting. Staff is very attentive along with a small menu and some specials for the day. I ended up with the pasta Vongole which is little neck clams down in a white wine sauce seasoned very well with red peppers and garlic. The clams were fresh in the shell and the dish was seasoned to perfection. The only downside was the sand in the shells. There were some that just didn't get the sand out. I have had this dish at other places where the sand was unbearable which it was not here. The flavor shined right through and was quite an enjoyable dish. read more

Needed a place to eat locally to where I was staying, and I located Capriccio on yelp. Upon entering it was extremely busy and I was greeted by a friendly smile and seated promptly. You can see directly into the kitchen. I was seated and my server appeared, and I asked about the daily specials and there were some on the board. I did take a thorough look over everything on the menu and I took quite a bit of time to be fair. My server brought me some bread and I ordered a glass of wine. The house wine was very good. The menu had a lot of items that sounded delicious and I narrowed it down to two items. I did ask the server about both of them and was informed that they were both good choices and highly popular. I settled on the beef with gnocchi and mushrooms and it did not disappoint. I've included a picture. The gnocchi was very good. The beef was tender, and the mushrooms were not soggy. The mushrooms still had a slight crunch to them, although they were cooked all the way. It was definitely more food than I was expecting, and I still had some of the bread that was delivered prior to my meal. My food came out in a timely manner, even though they were crazy busy my server was attentive, but never hovering which I like when I'm dining out I did want to order some dessert, but I was so full. There was no way I was going to be able to eat dessert. The desserts that I did see looked so scrumptious. It was a great choice for a meal and I will definitely return when I'm in the area. read more

First time ordering, and unfortunately I was disappointed. I received two messages saying my order was ready, but upon getting our order everyone else's order was received except mine. After having to go back to the restaurant, I was told there was a "minor confusion," and my order still wasn't ready, so I had to wait even longer. they did offered an apology but no effort was made to make up for the inconvenience--not even a complimentary drink for the extra trip and wait. The restaurant is walking distance from our hotel. The decor even from the outside is nice and even better inside. The employees all wore cool branded clothes. We were greeted and seated quickly. Food didn't take forever. Lighting and decor gave a nice vibe. They even had charging stations behind the bench. We only went for some appetizers (we had dinner reservations for later).
