This unassuming restaurant was sooo good! It's located next to some casual fast eats so I wouldn't expect this Italian restaurant to be how it was. We walked in and were able to get seated right away. They were accommodating since we had a stroller with us. They first served us some bread which was delicious dipped with oil and balsamic vinegar. They had a variety of items on the menu and it made choosing just one thing pretty tough. I went with the gnocchi pistachio pesto and my husband got the paccheri ragu. Both dishes were so good but the short rib ragu really hit the spot. The gnocchi is just a dense dish overall so I got pretty full. Their service was excellent and they were so kind. I wish we had another chance to go back and try more! This was just a short trip for us. It was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. read more

Stumbled upon the spot when looking for dining options near our airport hotel in Miami. Was not expecting too much due to strip mall business, park, location, but we were blown away. The food and the service were exceptional. Had a salmon pasta dish along with burrata appetizer. The menu had so many delicious looking options, and the servings were huge. The wine menu had excellent options and both my husband and I were very impressed at the Malbec and the Cabernet we ended up with. This was some of the best food we had on this vacation and in a totally unexpected spot. read more

We were staying at a nearby hotel before a cruise. Well, our cruise was canceled and this place was the saving grace. We ate here two days in a row and tried different food each time. From pizza to lasagne and something else (I forget), all of the food was delicious. Don't let the fact that it's in a strip mall fool you. We were in Miami to escape Hurricane Milton. The stress of not knowing what was happening to our home and also missing my daughter's birthday had us struggling a bit. We found Capriccio within walking distance of our hotel and it was a little jewel box of Yumminess for us!! The space was comfortable and small, but with a modern look/vibe! We got one of their salads and two entrees to share! All three hit the mark! The Cesar Salad was more than plenty for three people and was served with bread and balsamic + EVOO for dipping! Yum! The medium pizza had gorgeous yummy crust and we had one slice for leftovers. Perfect size! The chicken Parm was cooked perfectly and two large portions with penne pasta on the side! The owner came and chatted to us spending time to hear our story while sharing his own. I had high hopes. A short walk from the hotel with decent reviews. But, does travel stress inflate reviews? Our reservation was confirmed for the cave room, which is not where we were sat. Ok. Wanted to take our order way too soon after we sat down, great, coat an appetizer order. I ordered the Chianti ($38); super unsubtle attempt to upsell me to a $78 option (no). Bread was delicious, the highlight of the meal (other than the Chianti I originally ordered). Chicken parm was under seasoned, pasta slightly overcooked. Hubs had to search for the meat in his gnocchi. After the initial wine pour, we didn't see the server (or anyone else) for almost an hour. So while we intended on ordering dessert, we opted to just walk back to the hotel. read more

11/24/24 Nice Italian restaurant just a short walk from the Hilton chain of hotels, right next to the Panda Express restaurant. The Panda Express honestly didn't look fresh, decided instead to try out this restaurant. It was packed inside. Very nice interior atmosphere, employees nice and friendly, good vibe feeling here. I ordered the meat lasagna but honestly my own homemade lasagna tasted so much better. The lasagna here was just okay , it didn't wow me at all for the $23.54 price; although, I would recommend coming to dine here if you are in Miami. I wish this place would come to Orange County in California or Los Angeles. Unfortunately, you'll have to come to Miami to enjoy this experience. read more

We ordered 3 pizzas (2) l'Americano and 1 Quattro Formacio (sp?). The Quattro pizza had pears which were a bit hard but overall was OK. The Americano had plenty of pieces of sausage ham pepperoni and leeks. It was pretty good. The tequenños were delicious, hot and fresh. It brought up the start to 4. What was terrible was the Marquesa dessert. The waitress said it was kind of small. We were sold on a chocolate type of moose. As mentioned, it was small and a we still could not finish it. This is the second time coming here, the first time the service was awful and the food was good, so my husband and I tried to give it another chance. This time we came and the service was still awful, the cup they brought was dirty with lipstick, everyone on the wait staff was on their phone, we asked for a to go box and they brought a cardboard box that started leaking and when we asked for another they said they didn't have one and later brought us a plastic salad box. It's a shame because the food is decent but the service has a lot to be desired. Service to me is KEY and when I go out to eat that is one of things I am looking for. read more

This place is great. I was staying at a hotel down the street and was told this place had good food. It was a little place in a strip mall area. Inside was very nice and had a romantic vibe. I went in and was immediately seated, surprisingly since it was a Friday night. The bread and olive oil at the table is a delicious starter. My kids shared a pizza that came out within minutes and they both enjoyed it. I had the braised beef ragu with pasta and that was one of my favorite dishes in a long time, I definitely suggest trying. The waiter was great and very personable. The few kids in our party enjoyed their pizzas. Sampled the pistachio pesto gnocchi and it was rather tasty. Also, the beef Risotto Funghi was a really great flavor/ texture. We started with the fried calamari which also had fried zucchini and potatoes My wife had a salad with seared tuna (tuna tataki), one son had a beef and mushroom ‍ pasta with a creamy "red" sauce (gnocchi tenderloin), my other son had chicken capresa, and I ended up having the eggplant parmigiana (only after finding out that my first two choices were out of stock (eggplant rolletini and lasagna)). Every dish was yummy! The only issue that I had, other than my first choices being denied , was that the eggplant parmigiana was simply that and a lot of it. I assumed there would be pasta with it, like there is with the chicken parm. Anyway, it was good, but a bit too much. This is such a cute place to eat, it is pretty small so depending on how busy they are you might have to wait. They give you complementary bread service with your meals which was nice and they have water carafes they bring to the table which I love since I drink a lot of water. I got the mushroom Alfredo pasta and my mom got the chicken parmigiana. We also got some truffle fries to split. Everything was so fresh tasting. We enjoyed everything a lot but both said we wish their portions were half the size and half the price. Ordered a Rusticana pizza and was blown away by the flavor. Everyone else's food looked amazing too so we went back for dinner. Dinner was served with more fresh bread but a different variety this time which was nice. Had the Burrata Tomaca and loved the freshness of it. This little hidden gem was quite a lovely surprise! It was no ordinary Italian cuisine by far as the flavors of the homemade Gnocchi in a delicious Gouda- Shiitake mushroom sauce was decadent. My husband was throughly impressed by the fresh Tuna Tataki with a delectable sauce of citrus and ginger. The service paired equally well as our server, Fabrizzio, made excellent recommendations for both our food and wine selections. He was attentive and thoughtful throughout our dining experience and read the pace at which we ate before bringing our next dish. We came for the well-rated food, but the ambience was the unexpected surprise. It is tucked away in a strip mall and is unsuspecting. When you walk in, it is a gorgeous earthy, eclectic setting that is warm and inviting. I love how the wall decor was a work of art. The location is ideal as there is a parking private lot so fighting Miami parking is no issue (huge bonus)! We rarely drive to Miami for dinner as we live in Broward, but you can bet we will be back...with friends to share this rare find! Thank you for making our date night so magical in every way. The struggle is real to find good Italian food in Miami. The struggle continues. I had the pistachio pesto which was ok. Too much sauce and the gnocchi were over cooked.
