*Delivery Review* I decided to try this place on Caviar after seeing that their subs costed the same price as a nearby sandwich chain shop - I always try to go for the small business! I ordered a couple of sandwiches, potato chips, and a side of potato salad. As soon as I placed the order, I get a call from the actual store letting me know that the sodas I ordered wouldn't be cold (part of their fridge had gone out) and if I wanted a different selection - I so appreciated this courtesy, rather than them just sending warm sodas! The food itself was stellar. The sandwich came packed with a lot of meat. Great sauce to meat to veggie and sauce ratio. It was so filling, that I'll get two meals out of it. The sandwiches have great names too. We ordered the Hanky Panky and the Hello Norman. Both incredible. The potato salad was very tasty and a great portion for the price too. It's located on the corner of Torrance Blvd. and Hawthorne near Del Amo Mall. I honestly never knew what it was and always just thought it was liquor store and would have never expected them to sell food. // FOOD // Hanky Panky: Roast beef, toasted turkey, cotto salami, pepperoni, bacon, mayo, mustard, onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles, pepperoncini, choice of provolone or white American cheese. I really enjoy a similar sandwich from a different sandwich shop in the South Bay, so we were stoked to order this. It was on the dry side, but the individual meats were pretty flavorful. 3.5/5 Rise and shine burrito: Shredded jack or cheddar cheese, eggs, hash browns, salsa + choice of meat: bacon, ham, sausage. The breakfast burrito sounded really good, but it was lacking in flavor and we didn't notice any salsa. I wish it was served with a side of salsa to bring it more flavor. 3/5 Macaroni salad: My friends ordered this as one of their sides along with their sandwiches. We were pretty shocked at how small the portion was. The container was about the size of some restaurants that give you a side of sauce or salsa. They charged $2.25, but my friend said he would buy it if it were $1. I didn't even try any so I can't really say how it tasted. Overall, I was expecting more to it. C&C used to be my go-to spot but it's been hit or miss lately. When they're made well, they're easily my favorite breakfast burritos (specifically the bacon or Philly cheesesteak) in the South Bay. But they are wayyyy too inconsistent. Sometimes the bacon and hash brown aren't crispy. Sometimes the Philly is just a soggy, mushy mess. I can usually stomach it but today was just absolutely unforgivable!!! They didn't mix up any of the insides so we had a huge clump of egg, a pocket of bacon, & barely any hash brown. First thoughts... AMAZING!! The best breakfast sandwich I've had to date, it was very filling and hit the spot!! I always pass by and I decided to see what the hype was about. The menu has a variety of options to choose from and after a long debate I went with the Wakey Wakey. This breakfast sandwich is on a golden buttery texas toast style bread, the egg was super fluffy and you can add to your sandwich or take away from it, your choice. The options are unlimited and I say "STACK IT UP" the bigger the better right. Another plus.. inside there's a convenient store so you have your choice of drink options available and snacks...a one stop shop and who doesn't like one stop shops lol. I want to start this off by saying the food is fantastic! I've been coming here for several years now and food is always great and they added great new items like the loaded tots. The negative... the service is absolute crap. Order the food over the phone and the majority of people who work here have the worst attitude. There's one guy that works there that's super cool, but that's it. The girls that work there always have massive attitude. I asked for a stamp card today and was told that they don't have any and shooed me away. This place had so many cool workers when they first opened and now it's being run by people who clearly don't want to work. The location in rolling hills plaza (tap society) has great service though! I truly hope they fix this because it's getting harder to overlook their attitude for the food. read more

I'm not much for adult beverages, but the selection here is remarkable. So many colorful labels of a wide variety of microbrew beers that I had to make a video clip to send to my friend back in the Midwest to show up what's on offer in SoCal despite the pandemic. For me, the draw is the grill, which has long open hours and itself a wide selection of burritos and sandwiches. My fave is the Big John, which I get my way minus some condiments and it's a meal in a single item at a fair price. The cooks are aces at the grill and will gladly tailor your order upon request. The counter help tend to be local, colorful & youthful types in good humor, because it's rarely a dull moment here. This place gets really busy at lunch time. That's why my usual lunch pal and I tend to slide in mid-afternoon when it's less crowded. Highly recommended; 5 stars! read more

The ribeye and pastrami in those respective variants were tender and flavorful with great textural contrast among the egg, cheese, and crispy tots. Rise and Shine! Wow the newly opened Caps and Corks definitely knows how to brighten up the morning and truly rise and shine. They said they have the best breakfast burritos and this statement definitely peaked this foodie's interest. With interest peaked and eager to kick off my day, I stopped by Caps and Corks to see what their breakfast burrito is all about. Caps and Cork is a liquor store with a small deli to the side (Note: there is a small countertop area where folks can enjoy their deli purchases too). You order up at the cashier and then the cook prepares your food as soon as your order. Their breakfast burrito is called Rise and Shine burrito and it starts at $6.25. The base burrito comes with shredded jack and cheddar cheese, eggs, hash brown and salsa. You can add meat (choice of bacon, ham, sausage). Adding 1 meat makes the burrito total $7.00, 2 meats makes the burrito total $7.75 and 3 meats for totak $8.50. I got a breakfast burrito with sausage. Their breakfast burritos are huge and they don't skimp in the ingredients. It's definitely perfect for sharing or for splitting between two meals. I barely got through half and was super full! It's a great deal. As a bonus; I got a free 16oz coffee with my Yelp check in. Note aside from breakfast burritos; they offer different sub sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches and sweet sandwiches. I loved their breakfast burrito so much that a week later I decided to get their Philthy Philly Cheesesteak Sub. I loved this too! The Philty Philly is one messy and delightful sub. The eggs are fluffy, the cheese is stretchy, the hash browns are crispy, and the sausage and salsa are spot on. The little tub of tomatillo salsa that comes with the burrito is green gold. They have a buy 10 and get one free stamp card you can use, and who doesn't love a free burrito? Call ahead with your order because they are made to order and it usually take 15-20 minutes to get your burrito. The guys who work here are cool and very nice. So all in all, 5 stars! read more

Jorge is the man in charge of creating the magic and John the manager will take care of all your lunch needs. They all treated me like an old friend. The Philthy Philly Cheesesteak Sub with Provolone ( I decided against the traditional Cheese Wiz option) was the first sandwich that I tried at C&C. Great cheesesteak sandwich with plenty of melted provolone in a soft lightly grilled roll that really help set this sandwich apart. Their Basic Botch Cheeseburger comes in two sizes - single and double. The burgers are made simple with just lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickles, a light smattering of sauce and your choice of cheese; nothing to hide the freshness and tastiness of the burger patty. Everyone seems to rave about their Breakfast Burritos (and also recommended by Gary), so I figure to give it a try. I went all out for the one with all three meats. YES! It is all that everyone's raved about. So what could make C&C better? I love burgers with an overeasy egg. Add that option to their tasty burgers and I will be in heaven! I rated this place #1 before Covid and it lost some luster during Covid but just had it again recently and they are back as #1 breakfast burrito in the South Bay in my opinion! I have ordered from here twice via Postmates and twice had issues. I'm sure some will blame me for using a delivery app but the errors ultimately are the fault of the restaurant. Issue one: Ordered a Philly Cheesesteak without mayo and peppers and Onion Rings with two charged orders of ranch. I received a Philly Cheesesteak covered in mayo with peppers and only one ranch. My guess is that the mayo and pepper issue is due to how the input is made in the app. There is a category for ingredients to leave out and below a break down of items in the sandwich. Rather than the ingredients being labeled "no mayo" and "no peppers" they are just labeled "mayo" and "peppers" . My assumption is this leads to confusion for the restaurant. It is totally within the restaurant's ability to have Postmates update this. The ranch being left out is probably just carelessness. Issue 2: Ordered a second time being careful to not order anything that could lead to confusion. Ordered two ranches again and only got one. Not the end of the world, but annoyed me enough to leave this review. The food I did eat was good, the menu is cool. I just wish they could accurately deliver on my order. read more

I ordered the Bacon Breakfast burrito on the Yelp app. It took 40 mins to complete around 10:30am on Saturday. This place is a quickie-mart/sandwich/breakfast shop so the ambiance is for takeout but they do have a few tables and chairs for a quick seat and eat option. Several 10 min parking spots available upon arrival. The burrito hit all my "must-have's", which is an authentic homemade flour tortilla, fried hash-browns, and green salsa on the side. I feel like there could have been a little more bacon..but my order was ready on time. Parked, walked in, gave my name and walked out. Good service. Value: I paid $15 for this burrito.
