Still forming an opinion on their selection of beer, spirits, and wine. My most recent visit was fine. I was in and out quickly to grab a couple of items and everything met expectations. One thing to note: their food service stops at 8:30 pm. I got the timing wrong and just missed it.

Decent breakfast burrito. The pastrami was lean but not my favorite. Eggs were fluffy and potatoes were not overwhelming the burrito. But I would prefer the crispy hash browns. No seating inside unfortunately. But it's a liquor store with snacks and whatnot.

*** Take-out only deli store *** Caps & Corks is a liquor store that also happen to sell breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and burgers. The store is located right next to a gasoline station. No indoor tables as this is a grab-and-go spot. Please note that there's an extra transaction fee for using credit cards. [Parking]: Limited designated parking spots in front of the store, but I was able to find an available one at 9:30 AM on a weekday. [Menu]: This spot is known for breakfast burrito and Philthy Philly Breakfast Burrito is the top Yelp highlighted item. Other two notable highlighted items are Hanky Panky and Rise & Shine Burrito. *** Philthy Philly Breakfast Burrito (egg, ribeye steak, hash brown, onions, sweet peppers, mushrooms & white American cheese wrapped in a flour tortillas - serrano peppers free add-on, $14.75): It was an interesting take on breakfast burrito ... basically a Philly cheesesteak breakfast burrito. The portion was huge with solid fillings, but green salsa tasted alright and the fillings lacked an extra "wow" factor. *** Not exactly the best tasting breakfast burrito I have had, but their breakfast burritos are reasonably priced (less than $15 and I can split the burrito in half & eat the other half later) and also tasted fairly decent.

Located between a 76 gas station and an IHOP. I got here shortly after they opened so there were plenty of parking spaces available. I ordered the rise and shine burrito with bacon. It's a decent sized burrito and overall was a good breakfast burrito. It came with your choice of mild or spicy salsa so I went with the mild green salsa. Service was friendly. Only had to wait less than 5 mins and my food was ready. Seems like others place their orders ahead for pick up too. The burrito was decently priced as well. Just fyi: there's an additional 3% fee if you pay with CC. Luckily, I had cash on me.

Ate half of the breakfast burrito, which was excellent. Mild salsa was very tasty and hit the spot. Tried the other half the next day. Upon cutting into it, there was a 2 inch long, thick black hair sitting through the center of the burrito. To Caps & Corks-- Please have better health and hygiene standards and protocols when cooking. I will not be returning.

I am always looking for a better breakfast burrito location in the South Bay. Nothing has really peaked my interest out here until I tried the Philly Cheese breakfast burrito from here. The cheese was perfect, I do not like stringy cheese in a burrito, the slices of the steak were perfect for a breakfast burrito and there was enough ratio to each bite. The location looks like a gas station convenience store. You order at the counter and our burritos took less than 10 minutes to make. There is not seating so that was a downside, we were looking to stay close to the area because of car maintenance. Their mild salsa was delicious with the burrito. I feel like it they can make a pico- style salsa (corner cottage Burbank style) this place would knock everyone's socks off.

This place was sooo unsuspecting and it definitely took us by surprise. My friend and I were in Torrance looking for breakfast after getting tea and we came across this place online. Upon entering we were a little confused as all we saw was alcohol in front of us but as soon as we saw the menu we knew we were in the right place. The breakfast sandwich was unbelievably good. The eggs were fluffy, the tater tots were crisp, the avocado was fresh. Everything about this sandwich was right on. If I could have it everyday I would. We will be visiting again

First timers. Oh my goodness the deliciousness that this place packs. Ordered an Italian Job. It had a kick. It was delicious. I ordered it warm. Hubby was lucky enough to try the Philly cheese. I haven't met a Philly that I liked yet and this is the place that I fell in love with it. This is as our first time here. We will definitely be back. Oh my I took a bite and I think I love it more than the Italian Job. The Philly also had a spice taste to it. It was good. This place really served deliciousness. There was only one size. And it was a decent big size. About $20 a sandwich. The place is clean and neat. Everything is orderly. Lots of beers to choose from. The staff are extraordinarily great. Kind, friendly and welcoming. The staff in there were just so nice. They made our day with how pleasant they were tonight.

My husband and I tried the sandwiches and we both thought just ok. The ham I didn't like it was really thick, and tasted like what you can buy at the store. ( no biggie) my husband ate it. On the plus side, the bread was very soft that was nice, I appreciate that. I just wish there were more options for bread. However, I do love that they have white American cheese. The service was ok. He just sat on his chair and played on his phone. Over all it's a little pricey but I'll be back to try other things on the menu.

First time here & I tried the rise & shine burrito & added bacon and avocado. Not the best burrito I've ever had, not the worst. It honestly wasn't flavorful to me. There wasn't a lot of bacon, which more may have added more flavor and the hashbrowns weren't crispy. The burrito was mushy I think because of the eggs and "mashed potatoes". I was dissapointed since their reviews are pretty good but maybe I'll try them again at some point. The overall deli is nice itself though. This place is like a convenience store with sandwiches, burritos and tacos. It's NOT a sit down place. It's in between a strip mall & gas station.

Gross Rotting Avocado for a $2 up-charge

I love Caps & Corks always been a fan until I noticed the lack of care detail in making food. I paid $2 dollars extra for an avocado and it looks gross, rotten & slightly molded!!! I am pregnant, and I have to be careful what I eat. I don't feel confident about eating food prepared by someone who thinks it's okay to put that gross avocado into a paying customers food. It shows lack of concern or possibly laziness which makes me question the over all preparation techniques and/or cleanliness of the cooking facility.

FYI: this is a pick up, not sit down type of place! Though the burritos are so worth it! They are not only huge, but also so tasty and good The service is also wonderful, the guy in the front is so friendly :) additionally the place is kind of like a gas station store so there are plenty of chip and drink options.

Finally this place is open--I've been intrigued watching it go up as they've done a complete makeover on the space the last few months, and the signage caught my attention. Went in yesterday to look around and was impressed! Layout is really clean, neat, and you can tell they take pride in the thought and layout of the whole store--not just some quick mart or liquor store. They've got tons of selection (some nice brands and labels) and everything seems fair pricing and There was a group of customers eating sandwiches at the grill/bench area, so decided to try it out; ordered the Big John Stud sandwich--whoa! This is going to be a go-to for a few quick sandwich meals a week! Stoked to have a quick nice high-end spot--and friendly--to grab good booze and what looks like AWESOME sandwiches on my way home from work. read more

Since my last review, I have been back a few times. Every time I go, the sandwiches are delicious. I see the photos on Instagram and instantly want one. My go-to is still grilled ham & cheese but nothing has failed yet. Super tasty and excellent small local business that I highly recommend to support. We are regulars now! As a first timer I didn't know what to get,the whole crew was hella cool giving us a rundown about the food,I ended up going with the Hanky Panky sandwich.Bro it was perfect! portions,flavor and the combination HELLA BOM!! This place is fast, friendly and they have some of the best breakfast burritos in south bay. The rise and shine burrito is my favorite. It's always a big portion and it's always delicious. Great little place for quality sandwiches and delicious breakfast burritos. The wine is a little pricy. Not gonna lie, you get same bottles at lower prices elsewhere. However, they have a nice selection of beers. The food is probably what makes this place special. read more

Just left. Ordered a Big Joe and told them no mustard; cashier was too busy texting and BS'ing with the cook. . When the idiot cook handed me my sandwich I asked to make sure there was no mustard. The idiot sad yes, no mustard. Now there is no way he forgot he put mustard on my sandwich handed it to me and freakin lied when I asked him. Over priced and terrible service! And you wonder why small businesses fail. read more

I got the rise and shine burrito with avocado and sausage. It was really good. The eggs were cooked nice and fluffy and I liked how they grilled the burrito. The wait was 30 min though. Not sure who owns this place but I picked up my food and the cook was NOT wearing his mask in the kitchen breathing all over food. When I asked the cashier if they're not wearing mask he said yes his banda was half way off his face, and I pointed to the cook who wasn't wearing one and he completely IGNORED ME and proceed to ring me up. My instinct was to pay and now that I can't get over what just happened I chugged the food out. Would NOT recommend for safety reasons. Also the same guy that rang me up had just pulled up in his car and entered with no mask at all or gloves. Handed me salsa without gloves. read more

Our normal burrito place suddenly closed this weekend so after the panic set in we searched on yelp and found this place. The guys working were super friendly and it's locally owned. We got a bacon breakfast Burrito and a carne asada burrito and they were both amazing. The carne asada burrito is the best burrito I have ever had. This will be our new weekend burrito go to place for sure! read more

Stopped in on a Sunday morning to try the veggie burrito. Placed my order then walked around the store and chatted with the friendly employee. Waited about 20 minutes, but honestly with all the orders they had and the tiny cook top it was expected. They have so many cool beer selections, I'm excited to try some new stuff. The gentleman taking orders was really friendly and helpful. Oh and the burrito... Legit. Flavorful, big portion, packed with veggies. I'll be back to try the vegetarian sandwich. read more

Need drinks with your sandwich? Here is the place that sells adult and everything else libations. The food is consistent and that is what you look for in a local sandwich establishment. I have had their burritos and sandwiches both were above average. Is it me or is this the Caps & Corks presentation.? Open your sandwich (they cut it in 1/2) and look how neatly place your "insides" are placed. Not only does it look good but it tastes GREAT! This piece of real estate use to be a liquor store then Circle K now the Caps & Corks. A must try local place. PSA - to those out of towners it is a walk away from the Marriott, Double Tree and others. Your welcome C&C for the PSA. :) read more

Stopped in Saturday to get a breakfast burrito and was very happy with the end result. The cashier and cook were very friendly and we had a good chat while I waited. I ordered the rise and shine with 2 meats; I added avocado and jalapenos. I was worried when I saw the hash browns were not fresh per say but the pre-bought style but when I ate the burrito it was really good. The food is a little pricey but I am all about trying to support local small businesses. I look forward to trying their sandwiches and getting breakfast again. read more

O.M.G. This is the mecca of craft beer. Craft brew heaven. Every beer lover's fantasy. We just went in for some burritos because of the good reviews and cant believe we have also stumbled upon a stash of great craft brews. They carry a variety of brands and those hazy ipas that we looooovvee so much. The prices are beyond reasonable. We also ordered a breakfast burrito and veggie burrito- both made our top ten of burritos. We will definitely come back to try some other food on the menu and grab a couple of 4-packs of beer!!! Also easy parking and pick-up service. read more

If you're a South Bay local then you know Phanny's is the place to go for a breakfast burrito. That might be changing though because the breakfast burrito here is AMAZING. Keep it simple and get the Rise and Shine with bacon! Looking for something sweet? Nutella and Banana sandwich pair either with a Mineraqua and you're good to go! Great food, good prices, huge drink selection, and friendlg service. Such a solid little spot! read more

Been here twice, each time got the sausage breakfast burrito. I love it and it really left an impression on me. It's better than Phanny's and my friend thinks so, too. He also said the Philly Cheesesteak is good. When I try more things, maybe I'll update my review. They have a stellar beer selection, too. read more

I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered a burrito and found a hair inside, which completely ruined my appetite. On top of that, the price was way too high for the quality of food I received. What made it worse was the customer service staff were dismissive and rude when I brought up the issue, like it wasn't a big deal. Definitely not worth the money or the attitude.
