Delicious! The Lemon Pepper Sauce is very heavy on the garlic but amazing! You eat with your hands, it's messy, and your breath won't smell great but there's mouthwash and lemons in the bathroom so could be a fun/funny date! I came here on a Wednesday night and ordered the shrimp bag in lemon pepper mild. It was really good. The sauce and seals peas very flavorful. The only fault I found was that they only put a half of potato and a half of corn in the bag. Unlike other broil restaurants I've been to. The service was great. The Caprisun drink was reallly good too. Parking was really easy to find. I would definitely visit this place again. read more

The waitress was very nice and gave me refill in water without asking which I LOVE!!!! Very important to me for a waitress to do. The shrimp were rather small in my opinion however the Mussels are green lip mussels, which are big as opposed to the mussels from Shaking crab that are not green lip mussels and are small. The calamari was good but they need to add a lemon to the side. The garlic noodles were good but weren't overwhelming garlicky tasting. All in all, nice experience! I would recommend you to try this place sometime. My only con were the size of the shrimp, they can be slightly larger. read more

I had the pleasure of dining here last evening. It was a rainy night and I was meeting two friends there. Luckily one arrived first and was able to get a table and wait for us to arrive. I would say in total we waited an hour and a half before the party was complete. The staff did not hound us or make us feel uncomfortable while waiting. I had the snow crab legs with lemon pepper sauce and garlic noodles. Loui Loui has a mild Louisiana sauce, but I was told that may have a little kick to it. So I chose lemon pepper and asked for a cup of the mild sauce on the side. The noodles came out first and are to die for, Super garlicy in a good way! Next out were the snow crab legs. They were very small and the shells were soft, I was disappointed. But the sauce made up for it all! This sauce is salty and sweet with tons of garlic flavor. The only bad thing I can say is that it is VERY SALTY! I mean so much so that it burns your tongue after a while of stuffing your face lol. Im not sure if they make this blend in house or not, but if they do, I think they should adjust the salt in the mix. Other than that, it was perfect. I tasted the mild Louisiana sauce and it was spicy, too much for me. I've been to Shaking Crab and The Boil, comparing those two to this place, I would say Loui Loui is coming in last because of the scrawny crab legs they serve. If their crab legs were fresh and not baby sized, they would get 5 stars. I would definitely go back because that sauce is everything! I don't drink so I didn't try the adult drink pouches, but they looked cute and I'm sure tasted great. read more

It was better than I expected. I ordered the shrimp boil, medium spice, lemon-pepper sauce and it was good. I hate that these places do not devein their shrimp so for me it's always extra work to eat because I'm not eating no feces that's just nasty. I went alone but I noticed there were many groups of people. It's a fun place so it's a good atmosphere for groups. I wouldn't suggest a date if you plan on eating the seafood boils because your hands will get very nasty and dirty. Nice spot though. read more

I've been so excited to try these seafood boil places over the years after seeing them on all of the food programs. I've tried many and I'm always honestly disappointed. They end up lacking flavor and the seafood is sitting in a bag of oil but THIS PLACE! Omg, this is what I expect when I order from a boil place. Service is great here, as soon as we walked through the door to leaving everything was great. If you love the boil then you would definitely love Loui Loui. Since they are new they don't have alcohol yet, but once they have that I believe this place would be packed. The calamari and cajun fries were good, nice and fresh. Every time I go there's some la k of customer service. I went close to their closing time and instead of someone explaining to me and my friends that they would not be swaying anyone else. We watched the staff stare and avoid us for at least 6 minutes. They won't be getting my business again. The food is typical. Service could be better. read more

I really enjoyed loui loui. There's a lot of great restaurants like this one downtown it's nice to have found one uptown. No shade but it's a little odd to have a Cajun/Creole style restaurant and operated entirely by Asians especially in Harlem. Nonetheless the food was great and the drinks were nice and really creep up on you after a few. read more

Ordered oyster basket with Cajun fries and the delivery came in less than 20 minutes! The order was hot and everything was crispy and NOT soggy as can be the case when getting fried food delivered. Very disappointed with my food. Came from New Jersey to New York just to order some food from Captain Loui. I ordered shrimp with no head ,clams and extra mussels, six corn on the cob with no potato. I paid close to $60 waited 2 hours just to find out when I got all the way back to NJ to find my order was so jacked up!! They gave me shrimp with the head , no mussels, 1 corn, barely clams and a bag full of noodles. I am so heated right now.. My mouth was ready to eat!! But for sure I'll be the first one on the line tomorrow at 4 PM. Lesson to be learned check your orders before you leave.. They are going to correct this shit or refund my money back!! read more

It's a really small spot but it wasn't crowded at all which was a relief. When we arrived without reservations we got seated immediately which was another plus for me, the waiters were nice. The food was amazinggggggggggg lol omg. Their signature sauce is finger-licking good, I'm such a picky eater but I was beyond satisfied with the saucing they used for the steam food. The only downfall they have is it isn't good enough proportions. When you order seafood by the Lbs it usually supposed to come with enough but they fell short In that area. Love this place! I dine at this restaurant frequently and have had no issues until today! I requested a diet soda due to health issues and was given regular soda. When I informed the bartender he stated that's not what the waiter told me. He then proceeded to pour out half the cup of soda and just added more liquor! Now my blood glucose is sky high. The fact that he overlooked my request and still served me the same drink shows the type of customer service they provide. What if I was allergic?
