There were only two tables at 2:30 in the afternoon. I got great attention from my server. And the food came out steaming hot. I wished I had ordered the garlic and butter instead of the captain special sauce. It wasn't bad, however it was just a little bit too much in the way of the spices. So I normally eat at the Elk Grove location because it's closer to my house. First time trying this one and WAS NOT IMPRESSED. The sausage was gross should definitely switch that up. My friend who was with me said her crab smelled spoiled mine smelled fine looked fine and tasted ok. The food didn't taste good to me you could see the seasoning but didn't taste seasoned if that makes sense. An hour later me and my friend was both sick coming out both ends. Honesty I love seafood boil spots but this one was not good. The reviews for this spot are good so I wonder if we just got a bad batch of food. Our food was disgusting the sauce we got (Cajun hot) was nasty, watery, & was not hot at all. The calamari and fries weren't that great. They each come with a potato and corn on the cob. Absolutely delicious! I had so many shrimp I had to take them in a to go bag. The potato and corn were also delicious. This place is above average. Came here with my sac fam to try it out. 2 lbs of king crab captain flavor at the hottest level. Not even spicy at all. And we also got 1 lb of snow crab, 1 lb of shrimp and clam. Flavor was pretty good except the shrimp maybe didn't get to absorb all the flavor so it was kinda bland. Plenty of parking and our server was just fun and nice. Can't really complain too much but I think they'll be better as they stay in business longer. Possibility I'll be back. read more

First off I absolutely love the pirate atmosphere. They had amazing music and a very welcoming staff. Our waitress, Miracle, was very attentive and kept my pink lemonade (insert loss of man card here) full. The seafood was on point, but as someone that doesn't even like seafood I was very surprised at my chicken Po boy sandwich. Probably the best I ever had. My fiancé and I went here last night for dinner. Prior to arriving to the restaurant, I called to find out if we needed a reservation. As soon as the line picked up, you could hear a girl cursing saying how she was ready to quit her job. She then abruptly yelled hello in the phone. The night crew looked to be all teenagers or early 20 year olds. Most of them were on their phones video chatting or using headphones to talk on the phone. Our waitress Ella was nice and attentive. It was our first time to a seafood boil type place, and she was patient with answering questions. The food was pretty good. I would rate the food alone a 8 out of 10. We shared an appetizer of lemon pepper wings. They were just ok. I did the low country boil with no sausage extra corn with the captain's sauce mild. The sauce had no kick at all. All the seasonings were at the bottom of the bag. The juice to me didn't really have that much flavor. Once I scooped from the bottom of the bag where the juices were then everything came together. My fiancé had the fried shrimp and tilapia with a side of sauce. The side of sauce alone was $5 since it doesn't come with fried food. His food came out a good amount of time after mine, but it was hot so that kind of made up for the delay. The place has potential, but I'd recommend definitely getting a more mature staff. read more

Tonight was our first visit and it did not disappoint!! I used to work next door and remember the frequent visits to Sizzlers but this is definitely 100x better. Solid seafood boil place. Got the Captain special sauce in mild and medium for 2 lbs of snow crab legs, 1/2 lb sausage, and corn on cob. The Sauce: Very flavorful. Spice level is a little conservative. Medium here is probably equivalent to boiling crab's mild. Corn on cob and sausages: standard yumminess. They automatically include a corn on cob and potatoes to each bag which is very nice. Popcorn shrimp: nicely fried but lacks flavor. Wouldn't get again. Cajun fries: they were okay. Nothing special. Wouldn't get again. Snow crab legs: clusters were on the small side but definitely more fresh than boiling crab. You can tell since the meat comes off cleanly from the shells and is not significantly shrunken compared to its shell. Atmosphere: clean, no lines, attentive service. Although I didn't like how they seated people next to each other even though half the restaurant was empty. I guess they didn't want to open up the other side? Price: slightly more expensive than the other seafood boil places. Overall, id say this place is very similar to boiling crab except no lines, slightly pricier, and crab legs were fresher.
