I placed an online order today 12/19 and ordered two meals and two cheesecakes. The cheesecakes were going to be a surprise for my husband but unfortunately it was not in the bag when he got home with the food. No surprise and no cheesecakes so I call the store asking to be replaced or refunded and all I was told was unless I can come back right now there is nothing they can do. I just asked if we could pick them up tomorrow since we pass it every night but got another resounding no. So I asked if they could just refund it since it is $10 I am out of pocket for their mistake. Nope we can't do that either. Since my husband didn't know he should be checking for them they said it is on us that we didn't make sure it was correct before leaving. I am sorry but I am not being paid to do your job and now not only that you stole $10 from me. I hope you enjoy the cheesecakes I feel like you intentionally left out. read more

we went to captian d's on thursday and got the cat fish dinner, and was the worse food we ever got from there, the fish was raw and frys was cold and limp soggy i also got crab cakes and my God it was a shell of raw dough. is there any one over there running the show or the Pirates running the show. more like running it to the grown. this is bad we do love fish read more

It was a warm August day, the 24th to be exact. I was having a terrible day and woke up with a slight hangover, trying to forget the night before. I drove my car into the parking lot of the Captain D's thinking it was a White Castle, but discovered that this was not the case soon after my arrival. I parked my car, pulled the keys out of the ignition, and began to cry. After a nice cry I walked into what I was sure would be the death of me. At that moment I imagined Captain D was actually a long bearded swashbuckling pirate forcing me to walk the long length of the plank sixty feet over a wave of ravenous great white sharks. I was surprised to see many vibrant colors that filled me with a warmth and comfort that I had been looking for ever since that tragic Christmas of 96. "Welcome to Captain D's", said a young chipper boy of about eighteen. "Would you like to try our Blacked Tilapia and Lobster Bite Combo today?" With great excitement I screamed, "Yes! Please, God yes!" Tears began to stream down my face as I found my place on this Earth once more. "Sally, Johnny, Barbara. You can finally rest. Sleep well my darlings. Sleep well." I got my food promptly after I ordered and was very delighted by the Strawberry Lemon Tea. As soon as I left I knew that this was the first day of my life. I kicked the shit, I'm back on track with my life, and have my old job back at the Salmon Farm. I can't change what happened in the past, but Captain D's really made me feel at peace about it and I can't thank them enough for it. I said that I once looked at Captain D as a pirate, but now I see him more like a Gentleman saving me from a deserted island for all these long years. Thank you, Captain D's. Absolutely disgusting. This place went from good to awful real quick. Mainly because of the unsanitary conditions of this place. The entire building probably contains mold so that's one thing. They also keep rat traps everywhere also a horrible thing and the food sucks makes me sad cause I enjoy fish very much. read more

Knew I was in trouble when I saw the health inspection rating at the drive through window - 82. I had ordered the shrimp and fish special. The slaw had a "whang", don't know if it was ruined or had vinegar, but it was not the same quality as other Captain D's. Was afraid to try the broccoli. Everything else dripped grease. The fish was a long thin plank of something and was dark brown, not golden like it should be. Broke off a piece and the fish was almost black on the inside. Total waste of my lunch money since I was not able to eat it, and I am NOT a picky eater! Won't be back there. read more

As I went into Captain D's, I was greeted by a very friendly and beautiful redhead. She was very polite and just smiling away. She was sensational. I believe her name was Sabrina. She was the best cashier out there. The people out there were very welcoming. The food was great. That was the best place to eat if you like seafood. read more

I will never waste my money here again. We ordered $65 worth of food for our family, 6 meals to be exact. One entire meal was left off and 4/5 were completely wrong! Not to mention the food had a weird taste. Luckily no one got sick but most of the food was wasted since the orders were so messed up. I took us 20 min to get our food and it still was not complete. 8:00pm Observed 3 different employees in the prep area pop a piece of food in their mouth while waiting on my food, and to top it off they were talking back and forth while doing it. The prep area looked like it had not been cleaned all day long. A cob of corn and at least 6 pcs of fish litter the French fry and batter covered floor. Very hazardous!! The dinning area was like the prep area, dirty. Lots of horseplay going on right in front of the manager. When I told the manager what I had observed and experienced she replied "ok" and turned and walked away. I asked some floor help for the number of the owner of the establishment which I got. I will make the call tomorrow and will post any response i get. I will not got back anytime soon. read more
