Yuck! Big difference from just ten years ago. Small over battered fish oil logged. Horrible fries. Tough chicken! It's all bad.

Great food relaunch! It's an easier option than fine dining and the food flavor remains the same after all these years!

Would like to tell you how the food was but I refuse to spend my money when employees are this rude.

While Rebel Dip didn't provide a *great* burger, they did provide a *good* burger. That was enough for me after several days of swings and misses at several different restaurants. This place is exactly what it claims to be: an old-style drive-in with a walk up counter and a few picnic tables for customers who want to eat there. The service was...serviceable. The woman at the counter wasn't very nice, but she took our orders fine. They didn't put my dad's shake out with his meal so we had to ask for it, which seemed to displease her. The food was good. Nothing special but it filled us up and it wasn't marked up to insane prices like a lot of restaurants in the area. The fries were seasoned and a nice-sized portion. The burgers were alright. Definitely tasty enough that we finished them. The shake was good too! Not too chocolatey and very thick. One of my friends got a pork sandwich and polished it off in a matter of minutes. So, would I recommend Rebel Dip? The answer is...probably? If a better smashburger place opened up, it would be a no based on the food alone, but it's kind of worth it just for the experience.

They never disappoint, the service is quick and friendly, the atmosphere a bit lively and definitely a family friendly place. Really impressed with the pace of the food. We had a chance to eat the appetizer and really enjoy it before the salads came out. We finished the salad with a few minutes to spare before the main entrées came. The steaks were all cooked exactly as we requested. The sides tasted like good old down home Southern cooking! By the time we finish the meal we were stuffed. The table next to us had some of the most well-behaved children. I had seen or experienced in a restaurant in a long time. I asked the server if I could use my special birthday dessert coupon and donate to that table and they did not have a problem with that. Of course, I asked the parents before I did it, and I have never seen such overjoyed children in quite some time. I'm not so sure. The parents really enjoyed the chocolate overload that game with the dessert but the mother assured me they would be able to handle any hyperactivity that came about as a result. Lol. All in all a really great way to spend a birthday

While in town for our yearly vacation, we decided on Woody's Roadside for a quick and easy dinner…read morebased on the reviews and pictures, as well as recommendations from a few locals. Unfortunately we were left pretty underwhelmed with the experience. It's not that Woody's is bad, per se, it just isn't...good. The service was great. Our server, Jaclyn, was very attentive and helpful. She didn't hover but she made sure we had what we needed and was nearby if we had questions or requests. Jaclyn recommended the margarita, which is where things started going downhill. My dad ordered a classic lime margarita and didn't take more than a couple drinks of it. We all tried it and agreed it just had a nasty flavor. Sort of like bad white grape juice? It was weird, and of course there's a little asterisk on the menu that notes all alcohol sales as final. We were unimpressed with that but didn't even try to argue the point. Our food came next. It was actually incredibly fast service, especially considering the 30-top that was seated when we arrived, with their orders given to the kitchen right before ours. Everything was hot and fresh, though not all delicious. Here's a run down of my family's reviews of their food: Build-A-Burger w/ Amer. cheese - A bit too thick and tough like the meat had been slightly overworked, but it had a great flavor and was seasoned well. The edges were burnt and it was well done, not medium well. Good beer-battered fries. Spicy Hawaiian chicken sandwich - Very flavorful and tropical but the toppings made the bun soggy and the ratio of filling to bun was way off, even with ham and lettuce removed. Crab cake tower - The fried green tomatoes and sauce were great, as was the corn bean salsa that came with it. The crab cakes were good too, though nothing special. The shrimp on top were juicy and well-seasoned. Wouldn't go back for it though. Korean pork tacos w/ mac & cheese - They were okay. The slaw included was a bit too sour but the pork was juicy and flavorful. The mac & cheese was too bland. Chicken strips & fries - The chicken tenders were cut wrong so they were hard to eat. I had to cut them up with a fork and knife to get bite-sized pieces that I could chew. They had a good flavor but the technique needs some work. The beer-battered fries have a strange seasoning on them that got more unpleasant the more I ate, but everyone else liked them, so that's probably just me. This is one of my least favorite restaurants we've been to on the Gulf Coast, which is unfortunate because I honestly thought I was going to like it a lot! For the price, I don't think this is a great place, especially because it's pretty out of the way from the main drag(s).

As you can imagine, I've visited a lot of different locations! That being said, this is probably the worst experience I've ever had at an Applebee's. We arrived a few minutes before 10pm on a Tuesday. No issues being sat, though why they decided to put a group of five at the biggest table in the restaurant when the building was almost completely empty, I'm not sure. Our server was...fine? She seemed really stressed and a little absent. The result was pretty mediocre service. The whole reason we stopped in was to order half-price appetizers. Where I'm from, apps are half off the menu price after 9pm every night. Here, they have what they call "late night" apps, which is just a marketing scheme to make you think you're going to get your appetizers for half price when you actually have to wait until the last hour that they're open, it's only select appetizers, and they aren't actually half price. This whole duplicitous practice made me so mad that I wanted to leave! However, it was late, we were all tired, and we hadn't eaten, so this was pretty much our only option. We ordered a total of 2 appetizers and 2 drinks (other than water). Margarita - no salt on the rim after specifically requesting it. When it was corrected, it was done by another pissy member of staff, perhaps a manager? Coke - watered down. Didn't bother asking to correct it. Mozzarella sticks - underdone and falling apart when I tried to pick them up. It came with a half-full container of marinara. Boneless wings - ordered at the same time as the mozzarella sticks, came out 10 minutes after. And the cherry on top was an additional charge for marinara. I get two marinara sauces every single time I order mozzarella sticks, which is every time I go to Applebee's. I have NEVER been charged for this. Not to mention the fact that our waitress didn't tell me she was going to upcharge me! That's incredibly bad practice as a server, which I know from experience. Go anywhere else. I'm so serious.
