    1 pound of shrimp

**not sure why Yelp is filtering my review out?? One of my go-to's for fast and delicious food!! I go atleast once a week to get my fix I always pick up my two favorite items: -The lemon pepper wings are to die for. It comes with 6 pieces and I order with fries. Super tangy and packed with flavor, different then the other dry rubs from other places. (Their breaded wings are good too!) -Turkey neck!! Super flavorful. The meat is always so soft and tender and the broth is soooo good. -bonus: one pound boiled shrimp! They're decently sized, not over cooked, and well seasoned! First time trying it today and I'm impressed.

On vacation, and wanted something local before heading home decided to stop in. I must say Popeyes, KFC, and Chick-fil-A ain't got shit on this chicken!!

As another reviewer said she was patient with a first timer. I ordered a double for my wife and she told me the pours were heavy and to try a single. She was absolutely correct. You do not need to order a double here. The bloody Mary was excellent! They cooked the burgers and steak right in the bar and it's very cool to be able to watch them. We will definitely return here for the amazing burger and great vibes.

We wandered into this pub a few weeks ago and honestly I'm still thinking about it…read more I loved the bar! Incredibly quick service, friendly staff, and the drinks kept on coming! I ended up ordering the seafood boil (it's called something else but the name escapes me) and the Cuban sandwich because I was feeling extremely hungry. The Cuban was good, I would say nothing special as far as Cubans go but the boil was great. I got a bit lost in the sauce while eating it so I no doubt embarrassed myself as I completely escaped reality while eating it. We went earlier in the day so the bar wasn't too social but anywhere you sit in the pub is comfortable. Anyway, before I knew it I was 5 drinks deep and being the lightweight I am, I decided to clock out to make it home for bedtime at 9. I get sidetracked...if you're on the fence and are reading this now, just go.

I've been going to Adventures for years every time I am at the Coast to watch football, drink beer…read moreand eat oysters. Last night I was on the Coast for the Candlebox concert at 8. We arrived at 6:30. Got seated really quick and ordered drinks and the Chargrill Trio. Oysters came out in about 10 minutes. They were great. As soon as they hit the table the lady I was with ordered chicken wings and I ordered an oyster Poboy. Her wings came out in about 10 minutes. After 45 minutes I still had not received my Poboy. I told the waitress to take it off the bill cause we had to go to the Hard Rock and my companion was done. She said they don't do that and told me she would check with Manager. She came back and told me they were almost done with it and would box it up to go. I told her I didn't want it because it would be sitting in my vehicle until probably 2 in the morning. She told me she wasn't taking it off the bill and got smart with me. I proceeded to tell her to just go get the F-ing bill. Next thing I know security is over at my table. He told me they gave my Poboy to someone else and was making me another. I told him I didn't want it. Anyway, I left Poboy on the table and paid my $90 bill. I can promise you I will never be back and will not be recommending this place to anyone else ever again. They really should fire our waitress! She has a smart mouth, never came to table to ask if we wanted refills nor did she care that I didn't get to eat with my friend and lied about why I had not gotten my Poboy yet. You can check my reviews everywhere I travel around the country and see I am not the one to complain unless service is horrible.

I recently ate at Flamingo Landing in Gulfport, and it was legit good eats! I ordered the Mahi…read moreMahi tacos while my aunt ordered the jerk chicken pasta, and we shared the jalapeño chicken appetizer. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What stood out most to me, especially as a Californian, was the homemade touch in every bite. The tacos had homemade pico de gallo, guacamole, pickled onions, and taco sauce. You can really taste the care and effort they put into making things from scratch. Pair that with a gorgeous waterfront view and friendly, welcoming staff, and you've got a perfect dining experience. I'm visiting from out of town, but I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend!

Flamingo Landing is located next to the bridge on Lorraine Road, and sits right on Bayou Bernard…read morewith a dock for boaters. It was originally named Marina Cantina but is under new ownership. Parking is a bit sparse here, and you used to be able to park under the bridge but that was blocked off last time I went. You may have to park in the overflow gravel lot just west of the building, which also serves as parking for the excellent Blue Dog Bistro next door. We started with the Tres Amigos appetizer, which included a pile of fresh chips combined with salsa, cheese sauce, and black bean sauce. It was great and really meant for more than two people. They don't skimp on this one. I've been here several times and always get the Shrimp A Go Go poboy, which is pictured here. Although I feel like it could have used a few more shrimp for the price point, it was really good and comes with this creamy sort of salsa that pairs well with the fried shrimp. My wife got the grilled chicken sandwich, and honestly it was bigger and looked better than my poboy. I am definitely trying that next time. I hope this place is doing well because it never seems very busy when we go. It's like something is missing on the inside to liven it up. Our tables were covered in epoxy that was cracked and we saw buckling on the wood floors, most likely from humidity. Service has always been pretty quick and I have never had any complaints. I know the City caused a lot of drama for the previous owners, which is unfortunate. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a few drinks and great food.
