They never disappoint, the service is quick and friendly, the atmosphere a bit lively and definitely a family friendly place. Really impressed with the pace of the food. We had a chance to eat the appetizer and really enjoy it before the salads came out. We finished the salad with a few minutes to spare before the main entrées came. The steaks were all cooked exactly as we requested. The sides tasted like good old down home Southern cooking! By the time we finish the meal we were stuffed. The table next to us had some of the most well-behaved children. I had seen or experienced in a restaurant in a long time. I asked the server if I could use my special birthday dessert coupon and donate to that table and they did not have a problem with that. Of course, I asked the parents before I did it, and I have never seen such overjoyed children in quite some time. I'm not so sure. I hate giving 1 star reviews, but my experience indicated many problems at this location by many employees and managers. I should have noticed the lack of patrons when nearby competitors had 1 plus hour waits. Lots of parking and easy to find, however. That was the high points. We were seated quickly, party of 4 adults, and server had menus in our hands quickly. The table was pretty dirty as we sat down and server re-cleaned it in front of us. We placed drink and food orders at same time. A couple of us went to the poorly maintained restrooms. Filthy was the better word to use. They matched the rest of the restaurant. Upon getting back, the drinks were brought to the table. One of the waters had debris in it and the iced tea was not with ordered lemon. Eventually after a very long wait, our food arrived. None of the steaks were cooked as ordered. All were rare, not medium medium well, or well done as ordered. We had to ask for rolls. One of the steaks was requested to be cooked as ordered and when it was returned, another server slightly slung it onto the table with a sour attitude. That recooked steak was still rare. Server never returned to top off drinks or check on us. We had to request the server to get our check. When she returned the check, the provided credit card wasn't in the folder. When we walked in (on a Saturday night when the other steakhouse had an hour wait) we jokingly said to ourselves...they aren't busy, they must suck. We weren't wrong. There was no wait and yet...we got no rolls (until we asked), no refills, no lemon for our iced tea, and it took a good 30 minutes to get our food (steak) that was horribly undercooked. One person in our party couldn't eat it as undercooked as it was but when we looked around our server was nowhere to be found. We asked another server (who was busting his butt serving his own customers) and he politely took the steak, apologized and went to get it cooked correctly. It took probably another 15 minutes to get it back still not cooked as ordered. When it was all said and done and we paid, the server returned the receipt to sign without our credit card. When we told her she didn't return our card she stated that she did...we said nooooooo...it wasn't there. She then says "where could I have put it?"...person in our party looks and finds it sitting on the credit card machine. went into this Gulfport location today to pick up a Togo order. When I walked in I let the girl (I assumed she was a server) at the podium know who I was there to pick up for. She said "she's really backed up so it's going to be a while" with an immediate attitude and I just said "okay" and stepped to the side. Other people were waiting also. The manager asked me what I was waiting for and I told her the same name. All she said was "she's getting it together" the manager was not helpful at all. She went back to talking at a table and I found out later that was the general manager at the tanks. The lady at Togo was backed up and needed help, the restaurant was on the slow side at this time. I watched the manager stand around and talk for 15 minutes. I walked back up to the Togo desk and asked the lady working Togo if she knew how much longer it would be and that her manager should be helping her since she was so backed up. I was supposed to pick up the order at 634pm it was 650pm at this point. I had been there since 620pm waiting. The same server from when I first came in went up to the Togo lady and told her that I could f*** off and of course I said "excuse me?" She pretended not to hear me and then said "you can read my lips and assume whatever you want" the host turned around and was immediately confrontational and said we needed to stop yelling. I never yelled and told her that the server told me I needed to f*** off. And the host then told me I needed to calm down. So at this point they are both being extremely unprofessional and yelling. The host told me I needed to shut the f*** up and I needed to leave. She was yelling in front of other workers and guests. She was extremely rude and nasty towards me. The manager was standing there while she talked to me like this and only told her to walk away. Absolutely nothing was done and I'm assuming this is how they allow their workers to talk to people. The host was quick to anger and automatically said I was the problem. All I was trying to do was get an eta on the food and get the Togo lady help. Logan's has been a family favorite for a long time but we moved away from the one in the old home town. Discovered this location and we trek over to it whenever possible. It's not perfect, but it would be easy to quit going and we haven't yet, so that must mean something. It's a chain, with all the pros/cons that go with chain restaurants. Overall, we prefer the Logan's vibe and their menu over other, carbon-copy, roadhouse/steakhouse chains. This location has always had pretty good service. There are occasional issues but never anything bad. We love the food. My wife is picky about the doneness of her steak and they consistently get it right. The rolls are like cake - I never get dessert just ask for more rolls. The side dishes are the usual stuff you get at a place like this. They have a decent selection of seafood dishes but I don't generally go to a steakhouse to eat fish. They have grilled meatloaf which is unique and tasty. The boozy drinks are fun and reasonably priced. The prices are right in line with the quality of the food. Our experiences have been mostly positive. If you like Logan's this one is as good as any. read more

Today I went to meet up with my sister and her husband, to have lunch at Logan's. My sister drove about 25 miles and we drove over 70 miles just to visit and enjoy lunch. My wife ordered the fillet what was amazing was they cooked it exactly how she likes it. Which was great.! I ordered the porterhouse any place you order a porterhouse is normally an inch and a half thick. The porterhouse at Logan's was at the most 3/4 of an inch thick probably closer to a 1/2 inch thick. This was absurd, porterhouses steaks are supposed to be a T-bone steak, but just thicker normally about an 1 1/2 thick. Needless to say, Logan's restaurants do not buy porterhouse steaks from a reputable company because they would know this. Even management she knows this. Upon getting there at 11:30 the front door doors were even still locked shut & the restaurant opened at 11 AM., poor management. Not long after we got to Logan's I went to the restroom after a long drive. After using the restroom I washed my hands and tried to dry them but towel paper in the restroom was out in one of the towel paper holders in the restroom. Our waitress needs to understand she should check back with us to make sure our drink glasses are full all the time & we should not have to ask for refills. Before we go to Logan's next time, we will go to Longhorn's and hope for a better outcome which is directly across the street. The restaurant was not busy at all. I hope that I'm objective and reasonable in my assessment of this Logan's restaurant location as I've eaten at many Logan's across the southeast U.S. We didn't eat at this one because we didn't make it that far. We were sternly greeted by two young ladies who probably needed to be in another line of work. This restaurant is dirty, filthy and old and is in need of rehab! The table tops were very sticky as the finishes on the wood were degraded making it had to clean and sanitize. Needless to say we weren't going to stay there for the main event and promptly left. Stopped in during a road trip back home. Fast and friendly service! Manager was walking around and also helping to seat guests. Our server, Michael, was very attentive and friendly. Always making sure we were doing well all while attending to other guests. Our food came out so quick and so hot! Great!!! First tip, don't forget to bring your sweater when you come in here it's cold! We go to Logan's in the crossroads location sometimes for lunch or dinner. I noticed that the Gulfport location is much more consistent on cooking and seasoning of steaks compared to D'iberville. Usually a pretty good place to grab a quick meal, and I never leave without any leftovers. Must try is the smoked wings (moonshine wings I think!?) steaks are average but with the portions and price probably can't beat it. I also like the ribs here (much better than Outback).
