There are also picnic tables out front. You get a faint whiff of the grill/smoker upon entering. Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.

Try a fish sandwich! The crunch on the coating is different than anything I've ever eaten. We really enjoyed the Duck and pork belly sliders. Our server was incredible and she made sure that we got out for our concert in plenty of time. I had a wonderful fish dish along with an amazing beet cocktail. Everything is so thoughtful and well prepared. It was hard to decide exactly what we were going to enjoy. I highly recommend this establishment and fell in love from the minute We parked the car and walked through it. I would give it more stars if I could.

Our server was truly phenomenal - gave great recommendations, was honest, helped steer us, and took great care of our party of 5. The food was five stars across the board. Some dishes were absolutely our favorites, but there was nothing that we didn't like. The short rib and seafood special were top entrees, and the churro sundae was the best dessert (plus the cold brew ice cream omg). The cauliflower was an awesome starter and we devoured it. The bourbon beet cocktail was unique and a stunner. I could have drank 4 of them, they were so impressive. Overall, the property is beautiful, there's a trail that you can walk (super cool lighting too), it's nice and quiet and peaceful. Everyone is friendly. The food and drinks are amazing. Make a reservation and come check it out.

I had a salad and my family members had steak and shrimp that was in essence a reflection of the wholesome nature that steak and bourbon provides you with. We usually try to go to the one downtown but this time we went to the one on the east side for the sake of the reservation. The saxophone player was very talented. Which, made me leave him a cash tip as I love jazz. It is fair to say, that we had a phenomenal experience based on how well we were treated by our server who was a recent transplant from out of state and even the U.S. as she shared her story with us which was very much so moving and compelling. We always have a wonderful time at steak and bourbon together as a family. But, I personally will have to point out that my favorite part of the whole dinner is the live music and the wonderful ambiance that in a way, fosters excitement, and intimacy if the right person or people happen to join you during such a special environment.

We came for my partners bday dinner & we definitely want to go back & have already been recommending it to others!! For apps, I ordered lobster bisque & he ordered French onion soup & we both agreed the quality is the best we've had in Louisville, he even went as far to claim it's the best he's had in Louisville. So delicious!! We both weren't fans of the candle bread, sure it's intriguing & unique but it was too oily, bland, & salty to really enjoy. For entrees I had the NY strip which was made med rare exactly how I enjoy it along with their homemade steak sauce but be wary the charge $2 for it!!! My side was the shepherds pie & I was extremely full & couldn't finish anything the soups were filling!! My partner ordered ribeye and omg it was amazing, sooooo juicy & yummy full of flavors I wish I had gotten it, thankfully he shared. He ordered side of parm broccoli & they're very generous with the cheese that he even had to scrap some off. We had to order the complimentary multi layered dessert to go because we were toooooo full!! Everything was worth the money well spent & I paired mine with extra dirty martini & both my partner & I claim it's one of the best we've had! This place is def worth the hype & we should've gone here sooner!!! I want to check out their downtown location as well, but it's also nice to shop around the Westport area. Love love love!!

I had gone on a weekend to celebrate my birthday and Ashley T gave great service, remembering everyone's name and assisting with photos, constant check ups and just overall excellent service!! We arrived shortly after opening and were taken straight to a table. The space and ambiance were beautiful with warm colors and a boatload of natural light. Tip for first timers- the main entrance is on the left side of the building when looking at the building from the front. I ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast Plate which had 2 eggs, choice of bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes, and toast. My meal was delicious. The eggs and bacon were cooked exactly as I requested. I did not eat the toast (allergy) and substituting fruit without an up-charge was not possible, so it stayed on the plate. The breakfast potatoes were an absolute delight. They had just the right crispiness and seasoning on the outside and warm potato on the inside. Our server, Jessie, was beyond friendly and kept our coffee and water pitcher topped off without being asked. She was attentive without being a nuisance. I heard some mumbling from a nearby table about the prices, but for the locally-sourced food, sausage made in-house, gravy that is not made from a mix, and my husband's biscuit that would feed 2 people, I feel the prices were fair. My only complaint would be the noise level. It became progressively louder during our dining experience. The establishment has attempted to address the noise, as I noticed many hanging ceiling baffles, but it just isn't enough. I can't imagine what the noise must be like on a weekend. There is a small dedicated parking lot, which handled the Friday morning crowd, but was filling up rapidly as we were leaving. Again, I imagine this is worse on the weekends. Despite the noise, the meal and service was wonderful and I would readily return.
