Wow these guys did a great job with tinting my car windows!! They were quick to respond, had great tinting options to choose from with affordable prices and they came right to my home!! After 2 install attempts I cannot recommend Car City Custom. The installers were nice but clearly inexperienced. On the first visit, they arrived 1 hour late. I watched them overtighten the inner door panels and break some tabs on my interior trim. Then the window film had tears (pics 1 and 2). They agreed to replace, and after the second visit the film was still cut poorly (pic 3 and 4) and I have dust particles trapped in the film. I will not be returning.

Highly recommend Car City Customs! Kenneth was professional, friendly, and arrived right on time. He took the time to explain the different window tint options, answered all of my questions, and recommended the best film for my vehicle. The installation was flawless, with clean, high-quality results that exceeded my expectations. Me and my wife already have tint on our cars but we wanted ceramic. So I did a project thing on yelp and Alex got back to me super fast actually he was the only one who did. He was super responsive gave me some quotes and came out the next day. He was originally just suppose to strip the tint from my wife's car in the two front windows and re tint with ceramic. But his prices are really good so I had him just re do the whole car. And It was coming out so good I asked him to re do my car as well. And it turns out my sister needed tint on her car so we had him do that one also. Everything came out perfect Alex even took the time to explain the different tint options for my sister as this was her first time getting any type of tint. I have already recommended him to all of my friends and he is mobile which is great. read more

I found Alex through Yelp. He responded quickly. He answered all my questions and gave me a reasonable quote through Yelp messaging. On top of all that, he is mobile. He did all the work at my residence. This is definitely a plus. Once he was at my place, he gave me the breakdown by explaining the different tint levels and tint material. He also explained about having the front window tinted versus only having the front stripe. At the end, the finished project was great! He explained the "What Not To Do" in the next few days. I will be setting up another appointment with him in the future. I highly recommend him. read more

Car City Custom is the best! I looked at eight different options and Car City Custom had the most competitive price and I loved that they had incredible reviews. They didn't disappoint! They accommodated my short timeframe and worked quickly to get the job done. I really liked that they took time to show me the various tint options beforehand as well. I got the nano ceramic tint for all the windows and did the front windshield as well in clear tint and the difference is amazing. I don't get sunburns on long drives anymore! The team here as very helpful in getting our truck windows tinted. They pulled up as a team of 3 and took less than 30 ish minutes to get the truck completed. We did our 2 front windows. While they were there they gave my father in law a quote and helped him pick perfect tint for his truck. Very helpful team, bilingual as well. And they provide you a certificate with the exact tint used in case you need to re do it in the future. read more

Words can't describe how Alex was able to predict which shades I wanted for my car so effortlessly. This guy's a psychic. Lol! I explained briefly which shades I wanted and he pretty much showed me the shade I wanted in one try. They came to my house to tint my front windows and they did such a good job I asked if they had time to do the rest of my windows and without hesitation they jumped on it. All the windows came out beautifully just as I wanted it. The quote they gave me was the lowest price of all the quotes I received with the good lifetime warranty. Alex was the lead of the crew that was with him and he was very professional and lead his team in a good manner and we got to talking about this and that and he is a good guy. The whole crew was really good and fast, I heard them talking about how it was lunch time so to show them my appreciation I tipped them each enough to pay for lunch. When I took it to him he bypassed the alarm and determined it wasn't the alarm, so I felt hopeless, but Dave offered to leave the car so he can do a thorough diagnosis. At the end he figured out the issue and was able to fix the problem. He truly went above and beyond with his services. He honestly could have just said, sorry I don't know what the problem is and let me go on my way. But he didn't. My car runs great and my alarm systems remote start works even better than before. Scheduling was easy, and I was able to get an appointment the following Saturday morning. I dropped off my car and took a walk to a nearby café to have breakfast while they worked on it. They also have a nice air-conditioned waiting room if you prefer to wait on-site. I returned about 90 minutes later, and waited while they finished up. I take great care of the car, but every time they're done with it, it looks better than day one off the dealer floor. Steve informed me that the PPF and ceramic coating was in great shape. He also educated me that the ceramic coating on the hood wears faster than the rest of the car. They re-coated the hood for no extra charge. What service! Again, I left Elevance very happy with my initial choice to have them apply everything and returning annually for their customer only inspection and detail service. Steve and his staff are extremely professional and friendly. If you need PPF, wrapping, ceramic coating, or window tint, check out my previous reviews and go with Elevance!

For starters this review does not reflect on the owner, Steve. He has been very responsive at every…read morereach anytime I've had issues, although the resolutions may not be to complete satisfaction. However, the more I continue to see all the errors and defects on my vehicle the more dissatisfied I feel about the results. There are multiple areas crinkling and bunched up, even right after my wrap and more so now down the line. I've added some photos for reference but there are waaaay more I'm not posting that I'd like to count. My biggest issue that has been on my mind to this day is that my cars mileage increased 30 miles from when I initially dropped it off. I brought this issue up to Steve and he explained it's because they did my wheels, the body work, and test drove it but thirty miles is excessive in my opinion. One of his workers I feel definitely took my car for a joy ride and perhaps Steve is covering for them. The mileage doesn't bother me, it's the negligence, irresponsibility, and disrespect for my property of whoever drove my car. Again, Steve has been responsive since day one but his staff (who worked on my vehicle) on the other hand fell very short of the quality and expectations his shop seems to give out through their platforms. I feel like I was one in the hundreds of people who had a really bad job done. No one is perfect and I'm just that one mistake of a customer, unfortunately. All in all, zero stars for the wrap job and 3 stars for Steve's efforts and customer service and 4 stars for the body work and wheels. However, I would recommend to keep an eye on your odometer when you drop it off since it seems like his employees might have an inclination to have some fun when no one is looking or when the "test drive" is being done. I have a camera in my vehicle but when I checked it someone disconnected it almost immediately after dropping it off according to the time stamps. Little sus to me. Thank you, Steve for your kindness and doing your best to resolve each issues you may not have had your hands on directly but if I could truly resolve my dissatisfaction (especially for the money I paid) I'd prefer to redo my wrap in all the area it was defective.

I have a written email quote from Precision Tint explicitly stating: 'you're looking at about 699.00 total' for ceramic tint and removal. Despite this written agreement, the shop manually entered a $900.00 'Custom Amount' plus tax on my receipt, totaling $983.25. This is a blatant violation of California Business and Professions Code § 9884.9, which prohibits charging a penny over a written estimate without a new, signed authorization. It is also a violation of the Consumer Legal Remedies Act (Civil Code § 1770) regarding deceptive 'Bait and Switch' pricing. Charging nearly $1,000 for window tint on a small 4-door car is ridiculous. There is nothing 'prestige' or luxury about this service that justifies a 40% markup over their own written quote. The shop ignored three separate formal attempts to resolve this billing error. Formal complaints have been filed with appropriate entities. Hopefully, this saves others the headache of being overcharged. Shady business practices, please avoid. If you choose to do business here make sure to do so, at your own risk, as everyone's experiences may vary.

He laid out the film types, explained heat rejection vs. darkness, and told me what would actually hold up on my car. Didn't upsell. Just gave me the info I needed to choose wisely. I am really satisfied with today's work. They were very kind and completed the work quickly to finish the entire glass. They even came out to my house and proceeded without any burden. Here is what I had tinted 35% Nano Ceramic on the front windshield and driver/passenger windows, 5% Nano Ceramic on the rear windshield and panoramic roof (1 piece).
