The car buying process was so easy. This location also has a nice selection of cars to choose from. Abu greeted us immediately and was able to help us get everything done. They inspected my car for a trade in. When I got home, I discovered they had not actually closed the hood fully!! Thank god I hadn't driven on a highway or at high speeds; it could have flown open! How can you be so completely incompetent that you can not even be bothered to close the hood!?! But, they had a car I was interested in. I got pre approval, an offer for my trade in, and made an appointment. Smooth so far. Everything went to pot -- literally -- when we arrived. We waited almost an hour for a salesperson. Some of this was on me, I got there early for the appointment. Still, telling me they wouldn't be available would have been nice. Even so, they were horribly late for my appointment. My trade in mysteriously dropped in value by over 75%. And, the worst part? We go to test drive the car, and it REEKS of cigarettes and smoke. An hour later, and I'm still coughing. No effort to clean up the smell was made, no indication on the listing, nothing. The salesman tried to tell us the last test drive must have done it: bull. It was that deep, set in, stale smell that comes from constant smoke. And they knew it -- all the windows were down when we got in, the only attempt to cover. What an absolute waste of time. Also, to add insult to injury, their wifi barely works, and the vending machine stole $3 from me.

Our issues began *days* after the 90 day warranty. To quote the dealerships reply: "You're problem. Not ours." We have cases open with the Attorney General's office, a complaint has been filed with the BBB, and we will continue to share our experience through every review we can find. PLEASE - if you have a similar story, file complaints to the offices mentioned above.

    On June 6,2022 I went to Performance Auto in Jessup, Md for a complaint of no air conditioning in…read moremy car. The company charged me $89.95 diagnostic fee and advised me in writing that the problem was low on refrigerant due to the compressor leaking; needing replacement. Nothing was mentioned about any other repairs being needed. On June 10, 2022 I returned and authorized the repairs on my car and upon completion of the work, went home to find the repairs not fixing the problem. I subsequently called Performance back and told them that it is not fixed and arranged to come back on June 13th and waited approximately two hours for them to fix it. When I got the car back and drove home, it was evident that the unit was still not blowing cold air and called them back and brought my car back in on June 16th and again on June 30th. Spending all total about 8 hours of my time waiting for PROPER repairs to be made. Never being told what was wrong at any time no given a receipt for what repairs were made after the compressor work was done. Finally, I sent an email on July 2nd to them and followed up Tuesday July 5th with a phone call where I talked to the dispatcher and told her that I want my money back and I don't have confidence in the shop. Now they say because the car is old the system should be replaced but they can not state specifically what is wrong. When it was cooler out there was slight cool air at first. Now it is HOT air. Beware of this company as this is highly unethical and unprofessional and not the way customers should be treated. When you give an estimate to fix something, EVERYTHING should be in the estimate; not coming in after the fact and try to b.s. your way through a botched repair.

Terrible service, customer interaction and communication plus zero reliability…read more If you want to buy a Honda vehicle, Ourisman Honda in Laurel, Maryland is not the place to go, especially for repairs..... I bought my 2024 Honda CRV 3 years ago and absolutely love my car. I take it in for maintenance regularly and if something shows up in the "yellow" it is remediated. So imagine my surprise last week when i got a call from my Service Manager, Stephen, who informed me that my rotors were "weathered" and my tires were bad. I played the dumb woman routine and asked those all important questions. "Will you need to replace my brake pads?" Stephen said no, they were fine and could be installed back on the machined rotors. Then he said the tires were balding and not in good shape and needed to be replaced. Overall cost was gonna end up around $2K+ for that work. That is all he was able to say, because at that point I cut him off and said, "I DON'T BELIEVE A explexitive WORD YOU SAID!" Why, you ask? Well anyone who knows anything about a car would tell you if the rotors needs to be machined/replaced, you put on new brake shoes. The tires were replaced 10 months ago because I wanted a better thread tire than the standard stock put on. So I called their bluff. I picked up my car, did a PM check on it and scheduled an appointment with a TRUSTED certified mechanic the next week. Guess what was found???? Nothing wrong with the brakes, rotors, calibers, coolant system, or any other system within my car. In fact, I was told the car is in extremely good shape and if they wanted to be picky, they would need to replace my rear differential fluid, which I gave the go ahead for. I have a serious problem when someone tries to pull the "It's a woman and she won't know any better so let's fleece her routine." I called Stephen out in person and I can tell you if you want a car, keep rolling down the road. Very disappointed and frustrated and disenchanted that this happened but more disappointed that OURISMAN HONDA is not trustworthy.
