I am not one to write negative reviews, but I find it necessary to do so with this particular auto service company. I had my car "serviced" there a couple of years ago and I am reminded of how they ripped me off every time I drive by these thieves, hence why I am writing this negative review at the blatant fraud txhey committed. I knew that I had to replace a couple of my engine coils due to the issues trying to accelerate, car jerking after reaching certain speed, etc. I informed the guy working the desk about this issue prior to my scheduled appointment the following day. I arrived first thing the next morning and the guy working the desk and his mechanic decided to give me a complete b.s. story saying they (someone in the shop would have to drive and pick up the parts) and that it would be a couple of hours before they could get started. I told them specifically what the problem was because it had already been diagnosed with the coil issue. I brought my car prior to my 8am appointment the day before...they knew what I was bringing it in for. After he feeds me the b.s. about telling me it would be hours, to go get the parts and then fix the coil issue, the mechanic pops in 30 minutes later and surprised to see me in the lobby, I'm assuming tells the desk guy, that my car is done. So a job that was supposed to last a better part of the day, is done in less than an hour. On top of that, he also lies to me about my oil cap being missing. Unf-ing believable. A less than $200 job cost me over $400. Complete thieves! I asked the desk guy if he was charging me right? He just proceeded to feed me more b.s. Avoid these typical small town car service thieves...they're no better than the dealerships. Just some info for anyone who wants to know that they practice deceptive business practices. I am very pleased with the service I received at Car Smart. They helped me with a car seat replacement part. They had to order it and promptly let me know when they got it in. It seems like many places, the customer needs to be proactive to find out when they part it in. Not here. They gave me a reasonable estimate of how long it would take and even did it in less time. The waiting room is clean and complimentary refreshments are a nice touch. I would not hesitate to go back for other car needs. read more

I had a wonderful experience at car smart in Sumner. I usually do all my car maintenance myself but this time I thought I would try car smart. Because I had heard good things. They were great explained everything. through the process and kept me informed . the price they quoted me was the price I paid. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Really disappointed with the experience I had. I was referred to them through a friend of mine that has been using there shop for years and knows the owner. So I had high expectations for them. Disappointed in the fact that I dropped my truck off to get my rearend replaced on the night of August 30th and didn't get my truck back until September 18th. Everytime I wanted to get updated on what was going on, I had to call them. I work in customer service and feel that they should have reached out to me. After a couple days of my truck being there (after they tried to rebuild my first one) they informed me that they couldn't rebuild mine and I would have to buy a whole new axel housing. After them checking around they quoted me high, over $3,500 for a brand new axel not even including labor. So we decided to buy one from a junk yard because the gears were going to be switched out anyways. We dropped off the new housing on September 6th. When I called again a few days later they informed me that the reason why it was taking so long was because the mechanic that knows how to do rearends was on vacation. I completely understand and they said they only wanted someone who was fully trained to work on it. But when I was charged $500 over what they quoted me, due to some last minute unexpected issues, that's where I have an issue. I should have at least been compensated for that overage for the fact of how long it took when it should have taken a couple days at the MOST. read more

I have a 2004 jaguar that i probably have no business owning.i am retired and on a fixed income.I thought I purchased it at a very reasonable price.I have had it in the shop for multiple reasons.At first I took my business to jaguar for repairs but found that I could not afford to continue giving them my business.I live in Sumner and decided to check out Car Smart of Sumner.I was so appreciative of there professionalism and quality of work they have exhibited with me and my car.I recently asked for a quote to install new headlights on my Jag.They asked where I was at and asked if I could just drop it by they would see if they could swap them out for me.I pulled up and the boss man and one of his mechanics worked for an hour installing the headlights.I had googled it and they said the front bumper needed to come off to replace the headlights.They wouldn't take any money for their time.They have made my day and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable place of business to take your vehicle to. read more

Car Smart is GREAT! I brought my vehicle in for a brake replacement because I thought they were squeaking. I had the brakes on another vehicle of my replaced at Car Smart and was happy with the result. I was told it would be approximately $350, which is what I was expecting. I received a call a short while later from Cameron letting me know that my brakes didn't need to be replaced and that there was still plenty of pad left. Leaking fuel hose from the tank to the engine. Labor around $200, they had to order the part from Chevey $99. 12% Blue Friday discount! Saved me $30. They also have a military discount and coupons online. They fixed the car the same day the part came in. The front desk guy named kept me well informed throughout the process. I failed at planning and at the last minute needed my AC charged thanks to this beautiful weather. Cameron and RJ were amazing and patient with me despite the fact that I didn't make an appointment! Cameron was super flexible when I needed to drop my car off later and had my AC fixed that same day. Again, I had no appointment and they were super busy! I am so appreciative to everyone there, it was a great experience and I'll for sure recommend and return. Also added bonus--the lobby is SO great, love the design and theme! read more
