Took my Toyota 4Runner to Car Spa today for a simple wash. I paid for just a basic $6 wash as I get a company vehicle and don't drive my personal car as much as I should and it has been sitting. I was greeted by a rude attendant who was helping a gentleman driving a Mercedes-Benz, she yelled out "what are you getting" I said I would like a $6 wash. She told the gentleman in the Benz that she was going to walk over to me because I would be faster. She tried to sell me a membership which I declined. Paid my $6 and was directed into the car wash. Its important to note that while my vehicle was going through the was my fiancée mentioned to me that the touchless wash seemed to be very aggressive. As in the way the machine was slamming into my vehicle. We pulled out of the wash, And got back on the road. We drove across the street and I noticed AN ENTIRE TRIM PANEL ON THE SIDE OF MY VEHICLE WAS MISSING!!!! I asked my fiancée to call up to Car Spa and ask to speak to the manager as I was furious and would not have been able to have a respectful conversation with anybody there. A woman answered the phone and said she was the manager, my fiancée asked "are you really the manager or are you just saying that?" She assured us that she was the manager. My fiancée told her that we were coming back up there and that we wanted them to find the trim piece and be ready to write a check once we address the damages. The "manager" said ok fine come on by. We pull back up and I ask for the manager. Gentleman I am speaking to says "I am the manager" I laughed and said ok and explained the situation. This little thug proceeds to tell me "how this is going to work" I said no, you are going to get the missing piece of my vehicle that you damaged out of the tunnel and you are going to get a check ready for me. He proceeds to tell me "how this is going to work, and if I don't like it we can do this the hard way" I laughed at him and said no, you are going to get the missing piece of my car that you damaged and get my check ready. He goes into the tunnel and pulls the missing panel out. At this point the missing panel had been ran over Christ knows how many times and needs to be painted. I tell him that I am taking my car to a Body Shop for an appraisal and that I will be back to pick up my check. He tells me I have to go through a claims process with corporate and makes a copy of my drivers license and registration. I remind him that it will be cheaper to deal with me directly than me filing civil action in Cobb County against him. Keep in mind that he has been super condescending the entire time I am talking to him, telling me that he knows all this and that about cars. I tell him I have been a car dealer since 2009 and there's no need to tell me anything. I reminded him again that it will be cheaper for them to deal with me directly rather than going to court and I want a police report. out of nowhere he says "ok well corporate and the manager say your claim was denied" What? I thought you were the manager??? I guess at Car Spa everybody is a manger and I am going to have to sue them now. Such a shame. If they employed people with basic communication skills we could've worked this out. At least if I ever have to do prison time I know as soon as I get out I can become a "manager" at Car Spa. Moral of the story, these idiots accept no accountability for their mistakes. If you go there and they damage your vehicle you know that they will not do the right thing. read more

I have dogs and thus A LOT of dog hair in my truck. I went to Car Spa around 5:30pm on Saturday and paid a little extra ($20) for the dog hair removal option and I can't say enough great things about how good of a job these guys did. They managed to remove most of the hair in the car - the entire car! They spent close to 1.5 hours on it and for what I paid which was the $35 dollar service plus the $20 dog hair removal fee, it was like I paid for a full detail. I can't recommend this place enough. Wish they had a full carafe of coffee but hey, I rather have a super clean car! read more

Would not recommend getting upgrAdes like shampooing seats or carpet. They only did the drivers side thinking we wouldn't check the rest of the car which was dry asa bone in the passenger seat, back seats, and the floors. We also had run thru the car wash a second time bc it wasn't clean. Apparently, the manager had to used a scrubber and the dirt marks came off easily. It's such a hassle there.. if it was up to the interior / host / counter staff I would give them a 5 star review on service. I wish the staff (outside) actually performing the service could deliver the quality that they are selling/explaining to customers as we are making the purchase. read more

This my thirst time coming to this location the first two visits was wonderful !!but last time I came was horrible nightmare !!!!! I came was speaking to one of there car wash me. Which was really cool he gave me instructions to go inside . I recently paid for the unlimited monthly car spa club, but I can't say that I will be purchasing again next month. I like the concept of being able to pay once a month and then go get my car washed multiple times a month by simply pulling up to the express lane and getting the sticker on my windshield scanned. However after my car goes through the machine and the workers take a towel to dry the car off they do a very rushed job and do not dry off the side mirrors or other key areas of the car. I have also seen water spots on the back of my car as if it wasnt touched right after leaving. I think I will take my car else where & have it handed washed. I'm not in the business of paying for half done work even if it is convenient. read more

I normally love my experience at Car Spa but today was one of the most awful experiences that I have had here today. I brought my car in to get a detail and the seats and carpets treated. Normally this service takes about an hour and a half. I have had this done before so I was aware of the timeframe and the person outside told me it would be about an hour and 15 mins as well. It's 2 hours and counting and I'm still sitting here. I asked the cashier to ask how long it would be on my car. She called across the radio 4 times and no one gave her an answer. So then another guy that I'm assuming is a manager asked them to speed up the process because I had been here for a long time. So I still do not even know the estimated timeframe for how long it will be to finish my car. It's at the point now that I am about ready to take my car as is because I am tired of waiting and no one is giving me the answer that I need. I understand it being busy today because of the rain that we have been having but great customer service would entail you letting me know there is a delay so I won't just be sitting here with no idea of what is going on with my car. One of the managers did refund part of my services back to my credit card. And to make matters worse I got home later that evening and found out that my jackets and one of my mats was missing. I called that evening to speak to a manager and I guess it was around closing time because the person that answered said the manager was busy and I was on hold for about 5 mins. They get back on the phone and take my info and tell me they don't see any jackets. So I personally go up there Monday before work and they still can't find my jackets. So the assistant manager takes my info again and calls me 3 days later to say they found them. I am on my way to pick them up now and still don't know if they found my mat or not. But at this point I really don't care. I'm done with them. They are really going to have to redeem themselves for me to go back. read more

Spots that were on my car before the wash were still there after buddy did a piss poor job at cleaning the inside, he was more interested in his phone than his job I should have known better when the workers were spending more time sitting in a patrons car enjoying the a/c and a laugh than detailing.... My tires were still dirty mind you my car was inspected by two people and i saw the dirty from a mile away.... To think i almost tipped... I got NOTHING THAT I PAID FOR... I MEAN NOTHING... I went for the oil change and was disappointed by the experience. The good: They are quick and did not appear to have much of a line. The bad: I am not sure that they did a good job. I requested synthetic oil change which I paid for but the service tag says I need to be back in 3 months of 3500 miles. I purchased windshield wipers but they forgot to take off the plastic insert. The maintenance required warning light was still on after they finished. They did the usual jiffy lube "you should change your air filter" song and dance. I wouldn't recommend. read more

Horrible!! I was actually trying to go to The car wash across the street from here but their sign is small so I missed it and assumed this was it with a name change. Silly me. The wait was 30 min which I wouldn't care about if my car was spotless. Yet I'm left with a blotchy windshield and a scratch on my gas tank. I have somewhere to be so I left. I called within minutes to speak with a manager who clearly didn't care, who states I have to come back for them to inspect. While I have a VERY nice suv I just don't know if I feel like dealing with this drama. I paid $18.99 for inside and out but I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here. There was a lady upset because they didn't clean her windows properly. It's just unfortunate how customer service has truly gone out the window. I've been here a couple of times. First off, their menu is misleading. I asked for a full interior detail with my seats shampooed. When I got my car back, my console was barely clean and my rear view windows weren't clean. The job was half assed. When I asked why it wasn't complete, they told me I needed to purchase a bigger package. Immediately after leaving, I went to the gas station to buy some supplies to clean my Mirrors and console and I had to purchase an air freshener. I gave this two stars only because I've had pretty okay services here before, but today my experience was terrible. I paid for a detail that includes the full service wash service and there were multiple piles of stuff that never got vacuumed up including a very visible pile of spilled coffee grounds. There were spots on my windshield that I had to ask to be wiped off -- they came off super easily so I know no one tried before I asked or they would've come off then. I've been coming here since 2008. You'll get your car washed and vacuumed, but the quality has consistently gone down hill in the times I've come in for a wash & detail. Just left from getting my car washed and it's pretty half-assed. Many, many spots missed. Make it a little more worth it and print off a coupon from the website. I had been coming here every week for four years for oil changes, car washes and gas when I was there for all my vehicles. The last going was right after buying a brand new truck. It wasn't a week old and had just stone guard installed where one area of the scratches were. When I met with the general manager and spoke to the vice president both were extremely combative and argumentative. I would hate to see how they would react if something more serious like a mirror ripped off or a bad dent. This was a $50,000 brand new truck that they blamed the color and anything else. Sorry guys, I'm sure this place is fine for a quickie wash, but if I drop $100 on a detail, I don't expect to find leaves and other plant guts in the spot between the hood and the windshield. I also don't expect to find plant pieces in the crease where my trunk closes. That's why I got the thing detailed. I also don't expect excuses when I find sap on the hood or have to point out to the guy that there's excess wax around the trunk latch and badging that needs to be buffed off. When I'm told, "Oh, it'll take about an hour," I don't expect to be standing there an hour and 45 minutes later. To top it off, I left a test quarter in my ashtray. I always leave it there to see if the valet or car wash guy takes it. I got in the car. It was gone. I'm generally an easy going guy, but Car Spa left me feeling like a car SAP. You know, I've always been disturbed by Ivan S' idea of a test quarter (see his Car Spa review). By the time you realize whether or not your quarter has been stolen, you've already tipped the dirty thief/valet/car washer. It seems that the only thing the test quarter can do is confirm your lack of faith in humanity and all that is evil in the world. In light of Ivan's scathing review of Car Spa, I had to reevaluate my own Car Spa experience. I took my black car in on a busy Saturday, got the full service (non-detailed) treatment, left a test quarter, and examined the results. I have to say, all in all, I'm still pleased. The washers did a good job, and they are even overseen by a manager type that will double check their work. I saw the folks getting details, and as far as I can tell, the extra money gets you your own personal washer and the opportunity to lord over them like a God and pick out any little spot that they missed. I was not quite so happy with the interior service. Their polish left streaks on my dashboard and their was some sort of waxy droplets left on my window. As for my test quarter, well, it was missing. I'm still holding onto my faith in humanity, though, by assuming that quarter got sucked up into the vacuum cleaner and disappeared forever. Car Spa is still my default car wash, but perhaps a little of the luster is gone. read more

Told you I'd return! Just went for an overdue oil change and car wash (especially needed after Halloween weekend when I accidentally sprayed my orange hair spray all over the side of it in the dark parking lot - I was Wilma!) All the employees and techs are just super nice. I'm just pretty comfortable going here. I finished the -like- 10 minute oil change.. all good. (it's about $25 or so, which also gives you a free $5 car wash - or $5 towards an upgraded wash.) Then went around for my upgraded 12.99 (minus $5) inside and outside wash/vacuum where they noticed a couple chips in my windshield. They let me know I could get them filled at Carspa for no extra charge, with proof of my insurance. We just gave them a call and made a claim, and that's that! I know it sounds suspicious but SPOILER it totally worked out. It was washed, wiped down, shined, dried and vacuumed. I could see the little sparkle in it's car eye! Nicholas Cannon, the knowledgeable windshield technician, was super friendly and patient when I couldn't find my car insurance card (who carries that these days any way?!) Before I left, he gave me another free wash/vacuum to use within 30 days - another $12.99 value. This is honestly the only place I want to go to care for my car! read more

This is the first car wash I have consistently returned to (more than 15 times). They do a thorough job and are usually fast. Their prices are consistent with the market (most wash services less than $20). Further, they offer a wax / buff service for $39. which I think cannot be beat. On top of that, I live in the Smyrna area and receive 30% discount coupons in the mail about every six weeks. The waiting room is clean and has a tv obligatorily tuned to the Fox news channel. I have been to other places that have free wi-fi or some sort of a magazine collection both of which are lacking here. However, I am usually not waiting long enough to require further diversions. The facility is clean, bright and straight in and out. The staff is courteous although many of the people drying vehicles do not speak English. This is usually not a problem since customers usually interface with English speaking "manager" employees. read more

I paid for my full service car wash at 4:25, my car immediately went through the car wash. It was a few other cars getting detailed and about 4-5 people outside working. I walk around with my son for 35 minutes and my car still had not been wiped or vacuumed! I asked what the estimated wait time was and they told me 20 more minutes. Excuse but they really expect me to wait an hour to get my car VACUUMED?! It wasn't even busy so I'm confused why the wait was so long! I got a refund, took my car, and left. I've been going to this place for several years but my last visit was very disappointing. They jacked up the price and the service quality is nowhere near what it once was. I paid $30 for what once was a $25 wash and detail. They wipe barely cleaned the interior of the car. Interior didn't look like it was cleaned at all. They left a big black scuff mark on my floor mat. I pointed it out to one of the guys and tried to wash it with water, solution, and scrubbed it damaging the mat in the process. From the outset it just wasn't a very professional experience. You have an army of people with laminated price sheets greeting you. Then, the computers were down. The products were not explained well at all. Had an oil change on my car which has only 7000 miles on it, and they suggested an air filter change. They should be ashamed of themselves. $5 carwash cannot really complain about that. I'm always in and out in less than 5 minutes. Someone is usually on the other end that will hand dry your vehicle and add tire shine after a brief run through the car dryer (I normally tip this person). They have a 48 hr clean car guarantee where you can return with receipt and get a free car wash within that time. I never buy into the chip windshield repair thing though. read more

My favorite car wash spot in ATL. Easy drive-up and large lounge for you to wait for your car to be like new again - they even added that new car smell to complete the package. I'd give it $$ because they can get up to $100 for their max premium luxury cleaning package. Mind you, I have never gotten this but I see several people who have. It's an Atlanta thing don't even ask :-/ At the end of the day for about 30 bucks you can have an interior and exterior wash with tire shine polish and the works. Make sure you time your visit because they can get extremely busy during peak hours for the weekend. They even have a 48 hour exterior clean guarantee so if it rains or you want another wash just come back and they will get you cleaned up all over again for free. read more

I want to love this place. The do a great job for not a lot of money. But the reason I'm giving this place three stars is because of the wait. It's amazing to me how long a car wash takes here. Sometimes I come when it's busy and I understand. But as I type this from the waiting area, it's 6:15pm on a Monday night. I've been here for 20 minutes and my car just came out of the machine to now have the interior cleaned by the workers. Plus I always add the carpet shampoo option and they always forget. So I end up reminding them when they tell me my car is finished, that adds more time. If you have the time to wait, then it's worth it. But don't come here thinking it's a quick in and out. I will probably end up spending 30-40 minutes here (minimum!) for the Silver Package ($16.99) plus the front two carpets shampooed ($3.00). read more

Been there a couple of other times and this visit was the worst yet: Constant upsell, a million employees around, but it took 1.5 hours for service and wash, and the wash is the worst around.
