Got my truck here the next day Jen was on top of getting me in and Glen walked me through the process and kept me updated on my vehicle repair weekly. Where do begin? Between CarCraft and USAA, they made my car good as new!!! First, we are a USAA family, so this is as much a shoutout to them as the fantastic work done by CarCraft! Juan is a pro, and made the whole process easy. I initially had my driver-side door badly damaged in a parking garage in DC in 2018. Downtown is notorious for having mean drivers who will bang up your car and not think twice. Fine. It happened. I figured getting my car fixed at the shop would be a pain and they'd keep my car for weeks on end, and going through insurance, etc... is as pleasant as a heart attack, so I made the dumb mistake of hiring some random guy off Craigslist to do the job in my driveway. He promised me the world, that the dent will disappear and that he had access to factory paint-match sprays, yada yada yada. I was an idiot and thought: "What the hell, sounds good to me!" Initially, it looked great! Fast forward 3 months and the paint began to oxidize! You could see all the paint overspray all the way to the other door! What an eyesore! And I actually let it sit like that until just now - September 2021!! (So now, there was the initial damage done by the driver in DC - AND the shoddy job the Craigslist rando did, that needed repair!!) But I just found dealing with insurance companies in the past to be suuuuch a pain that I actually opted to just live with an ugly car the last 3.5 years! Until finally, my husband said, enough - "We're calling Juan at CarCraft. You won't have to jump through any hoops, just explain what happened to Juan and he'll handle the rest." Sure enough, that's exactly what happened. We called USAA to file the claim. Wasn't a painful process. They told us to drop it off at CarCraft for an estimate. Juan literally took it from there! No hoops. And they had it done in about a week, less time than they initially quoted me. My car looks brand new!!! I'm thrilled! I rolled up to CarCraft and it was sitting in the drive - waiting for me, all washed, polished, vacuumed and everything! I was smiling ear to ear! I don't know why I waited so long to ask CarCraft what they could do. This was the best gift to myself after paying off the car. It feels new all over again thanks to Juan and CarCraft. Tom went out of his way to explain the expensive option but then asked if he could try to remove the damage. Within 10 minutes, he had buffed the damage away, saving me both time, money, and worry. These guys are so nice!! I had to drop off the car and they drove me to the rental shop to pick up a temp vehicle b/c they were backed up in bringing one to me. Carcraft was suggested by my insurance, and my repair is covered by insurance (minus deductible), so I don't mind the cost. (Although, from what I've learned, ANY body work is expensive) They estimated that the work would take about a week, and 5 days later, I should be able to pick it up. It's never a fun time when you get into a serious accident two hours from where you call home. You're not familiar with the area, don't have your trusted body/mechanic shops available to you, so you truly never know if you're going to be in good hands, but I am so incredibly happy with my experience with CarCraft. I was in a rear-end collision in early May of this year that caused $18k+ worth of damage to my vehicle. CarCraft was recommended to me by Progressive as they are a preferred shop, and I have to admit, I was skeptical. But from the very beginning, it was a wonderful experience. This shop has amazing communication and kept me informed every step of the way. David was so great, communicating with me, getting me photographs of my vehicle when I couldn't get them myself for insurance documentation. They were incredibly responsive when I emailed them every time. I was updated with any changes in timeline, updated when parts were ordered and had arrived, and never did I feel like an inconvenience. They were very helpful with keeping insurance and Enterprise up-to-date on where they were in the repair process and I often felt like my vehicle was the only vehicle they were working on. They were understanding of how far away geographically I was and were patient when I couldn't come right away to pickup my vehicle. Upon pickup, I was greeted by Tom and Wilbur who were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Wilbur brought my car around and left it running so it would be nice and cool when I got in it. When I asked how far Enterprise was to drop off my rental, they offered to take care of the rental return for me to save me time and inconvenience! How amazing is that? All they cared about was that I was taken care of. My vehicle looks great and feels like it was never in a serious accident. Came by here on Tuesday with my nanny to pick up her car and was completely floored by the level of customer service I experienced here. To be fair, I had low expectations based on previous experiences at collision centers. The GPS dropped me off on the middle of Backlick Rd when I used the address, but when I dumped in the name it took me right to the door (Not sure what was going on there). We parked and took a quick look around the car to make sure all the tar had been removed from the outside as well as where it had stuck to the inside of the door and made opening the door difficult. They did a good job, there was really only two spots that didn't appear completely tar-free. We went inside to pick the keys up and fill out any paperwork and were greeted by a gentleman named David (or maybe Dave? who I later found out was one of the owners) and he came out to see the car and make sure we were happy. I showed him the tar residue on the driver side door and on the plastic paneling; he immediately went back into the shop to grab a rag, gloves, and the cleaning solvent and went to work right there to make sure everything was removed. I was stunned that he was happy to do it and walked around the car again to make sure no other spots were missed. Talk about exceptional customer service!! He even let us know that sometimes the tar stains he plastic pieces, but if it came back to juts bring the car back and he'd take a look at it again. I was shocked he was so kind and caring. While it isn't super close to me, I know if I ever need the services of a collision center (which, to be honest I hope I never do) I will definitely be back here. The only recommendations I have are to ensure cars are locked while sitting out in the open; I definitely don't think the car should have been unlocked when we arrived at 500 to pick the car up. How long had it been left open? Had anyone else been inside it that shouldn't have? We all know this isn't the best part of town...so it made me apprehensive, but I was told nothing was missing, so no harm no foul...but maybe something management wants to check in the future. The other is phone call service, my nanny was told she would be called when the car was complete; however never received a call, she finally called at 4 to inquire about the car and was notified the car was completed. read more

So we took our car to Carcraft Collision Center because it was approved by our insurance company for repairs after my wife was rear-ended by another vehicle. Carcraft installed the new rear door on our vehicle and replaced all the motion sensors, etc. 6 months later we had to take the vehicle back to them because we took the vehicle through a car was and noticed water pouring into the back of the vehicle because they didn't mount the rear-door properly. Fast forward a few years and we go to open the back of our vehicle one morning and find it suddenly won't open more than a foot or so. No idea why, but luckily our insurance company is wonderful and guarantees all work on our vehicle for life. So we've moved away from Woodbridge (military family) and take our car into a new shop to be looked at. Thankfully because this is what our insurance calls a "corrective repair" Carcraft will be the one billed for steps needed to fix this fiasco. I just got called by the new collision center and come to find out that not only did Carcraft NOT order a new spoiler for the rear of our vehicle (where the windshield wiper assembly, etc is contained) and instead just reused the old one - but rather than mounting it properly - they just GLUED IT ON. The location we're at now had to literally take an air chisel and chisel the spoiler off because it was just glued in place rather than properly mounted. Way to go Carcraft.... WTF?!?!?! I'm so glad that Carcraft is going to be charged for the corrective repair of this horribly shoddy work. Maybe next time they'll take the time to fix it right the first time instead of trying to rip a customer off with poor quality repairs. read more

BEWARE!!! this place is incredibly unprofessional! its taken my car over 2 WEEKS to get repaired and for minor damages. The day they call me to tell me my car is ready they call me 30 Mins before they closed for the weekend... Then Monday comes I go to pick my car up and it has NEW DAMAGES that didnt even exist when i dropped it off!!! & To make it even worse the damages my car was there for were done HORRIBLY! there were bubbles all in the paint on the FENDER & on MY RIM. LIKE WERE THEY TRYING TO PULL SOMETHING OVER ON ME!!! LIke they were actually going to return the car to me like that So then Juan so ...OH Mama Im so sorry, well fix it,, 2 days later i go back the rim is good and the paint job is better, but there are still dings from the new scratch that appeared while at there location and damage to my driver passanger door!! I CANT BELIEVE THIS PLACE IS USAA APPROVED!! I hope after this they are NEVER because if anyone went thru this I would totally feel for you. USAA has much higherstands than this so Im in SHOCK THIS IS EVEN HAPPENING. This place turned me from Patient person to COMPLETE PISSED!!! Our Corolla was rear ended and we unfortunately had to work with the most incompetent insurance company on the planet.
