Card My Yard.....just great! I used them for my husband's 90th birthday, the yard sign surprised him of course. The sign was a huge hit for the party, all the guests and family loved it. CMY personalized it with some of his hobbies and the sign took up the whole front yard. We took a group photo and have shared it with everyone present and even with friends who could not attend. So easy to book online and the company reached out a couple of days before the event and explained the whole process. The girl who set up the sign was quick and efficient. I ordered a tie dye birthday sign and confirmed this via email. I even sent a photo from the website of exactly what I wanted and I was confirm that this would be the case. Instead I received a blue and black sign. I even mentioned this to the gal setting it up and they just blew me off. I went back and found the email that confirmed this communication. I emailed back the company today. I was told they would come and make it right however with further questioning I found out that they were just going to add a few balloons that were in tie-dye. Also the element of surprise is now completely lost. They said they don't have happy birthday and a selected color however they never told me this previously. $$$$After paying a few hundred dollars $$$$ I feel that this company has poor communication and is not transparent. They overpromise and under deliver it. I asked for a partial refund at least and it was not excepted. I will never use this company again read more

We ordered a happy birthday sign for my son's first birthday party and it was such a hit. The company had a location in West Chester PA and our rep was so nice and helpful. The online order process was very easy and we got the colors and designs requested. The price is reasonable and set-up and tear down were quick with no bother to us. My only complaint was that no details of the process are given until the day before you request the sign. We had no idea how it all worked until I called to get the details. I wish they would give you more details sooner of what to expect. Other than that I highly recommend this company and would card our yard for every big event! read more

When I heard of card my yard, I thought it was an amazing idea! That is until I learned the sign goes up for just 24 hours. It's extra to add 1 or two days. That is just not enough time for me to spend $80-$130+ At least with a card the person gets to keep it forever. I'd say the sign/card should stay up for 1 week minimum to make it worth it or even a month for things like a graduation or baby announcement. Maybe someone will start a new and improved Card My Yard alternative? read more

"Absolutely not." That is the title of my review and all that Jacquline, the franchise owner of Card My Yard East Bay, could say to my mom and husband after they hired her to surprise me. She asked them to water the lawn to soften the ground the night before, which they did. She showed up late in the morning and did nothing but complain about being there because of her other job and children. She said the ground was still too hard so they watered again and my husband turned the soil with a pick axe. But when they turned around, she was packing up. When questioned, her response was "I can't trust you to not move them after I leave." What gave her that idea? Why would they move them when they were going out of their way to make it work for her? She came and went with the attitude of "absolutely not," leaving my mom and husband high and dry the morning of my birthday. Completely unprofessional and inflexible. I would never recommend her to anyone. read more
