    New York crust tower toppings
    Teresa C.

I love this place in uptown Westerville . I always get the NY crust with the tower toppings and it never disappoints. Bartenders are helpful and friendly . It gets crowded so you might have to wait .. but if it's on the weekend grab a Dora cup and walk around . It's a dark old bar which is part of its charm . Highly recommend stopping in .

This is my favorite pizza shop in Columbus. Why? First I love the vibe. Its a small shop and I mean right now its small and truly, I love that. However, its in the process of acquiring/modifying the space next door so it will get bigger. Im sure I will still love bigger as it eill be easier to get seating. Currently it has four tables and a bar that seats 7-8. Everything is made in house except the cauliflower crust, boneless chicken and one other thing, which I dont get, so I forgot what it is. The salads are great. The dressings are made in-house, their ranch is my favorite. The bar is fun to sit at and very comfortable. they hire great people that are always fun to talk to. They have two types of crust: NY Style and Columbus style. Both are good but I prefer the NY style. They have two sauces, spicy and regular. The spicy is amazing. The regular is sweeter than the spicy (imo) My go to here is the NY style Taylors favorite.. omit sausage on half and "a Propa-Pie, add sausage to entire pie. The pepperoni is the type that curls upward and their sausage is good sized. The mushrooms are so fresh. Yum. Thanks Mel (one of the owners) for always making us feel like regulars even tho we come in sporadically and always sending us home happy and full!

Ended up going here to grab a pizza for the Browns vs Cardinals game. Ironic, isn't it? But, unlike the Cardinals football team, this pizza is not slouch. When we pulled up, I noticed that they were Browns supporters, so I knew I was in for a treat. The cashier was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Proper Pie to go, and this pizza featured Old World Pepperoni, which is my favorite! The pizza looked and smelled phenomenal when we got into the car. My wife was not in the mood for pizza, so she ordered one of their meatball subs. When we got home, we dug in. The pizza had a thinner crust, and the flavors were amazing. The pepp was cripsy and bold! The cheese had a nice pull, and the sauce was very complimentary. I drizzled a little ranch on a slice, and it enhanced the pie even more. The crust had a nice crunch to it as well. My wife said that she enjoyed her meatball sub and the slice of pie she tried. I would give this place another go, and I would like to try another one of their specialty pizzas. The Proper Pie Pizza 1-5=4.5! Customer Service 1-5=5!

Friends recommended trying this pizza. I can honestly say it's the best in Westerville. I ordered a build your own 14 inch NY style with pepperoni, pineapple, and red onions... yes I put pineapple on 1/2 the pizza. I do appreciate that they use real pineapple. I ordered online and liked that they texted you when it was ready. The girl working was super friendly. Its a small place. I give the pizza a solid 4/5. I would come back and order the pizza. I do wish they offered bigger sizes. As for the small salad... a total scam! 12 pieces of spinach for $5.25... Don't make the same mistake I did. :(

We finally had the chance to check out Cardinal Pizza shop on Saturday and I'm so glad we did! We had a large NY style cheese pizza, breadsticks, a thin crust banana pepper pizza, and meatballs. Everything was amazing. Although the breadsticks were my absolute favorite! The crust is a little sweet and there is plenty of delicious cheese. The order was prompt and the prices are great for the quality! Everyone there was super friendly and the ambiance is really cool too. Definitely a must if you're in the Westerville area!

Limited bar selection, but plenty of great choices to satisfy. #UpCloseSavor

The sauce was good but the crust was burnt not lightly charred but seriously burnt on the New York Style crust.

We ordered takeout, and both the pizza and the buffalo chicken wrap were very good! The service was quick.

Great pizza! We love the New York crust. Ingredients are good and plentiful. Their new delivery service sucks. Toast is awful.

They make their dough the prior day. It makes for a nice thinner crust on the pizza. The sauce was a nice flavorful sauce. The cheese on the pizza was a blend of Mozzarella, Parmesan and Provolone. On top of that some nice spices. The pepperoni was super flavorful and there was PLENTY on the pizza. It was super flavorful, I was only able to finish about half of it. I also ordered a cherry and apple pastries to take home. Oh my!! The pastries had plenty of fruit filling in them and so tasty. On to service, Lisa is definitely a superstar. Everything was done in a very timely manner. Checking with me a number of times to see if I needed refills or anything else. Even did some talking about the current restaurant businesses. Great personality. I'll definitely be back. You should check them out too.

While waiting on our food we kept noticing a lot of customers coming and going from Pasquale's and thought, they must have something good going on there . We made a mental note to try them out one day... Well that day finally arrived . We decided to give them a try for our Friday night dinner. We placed an order online for a Large pepperoni + sausage pizza. Their online portal was very user friendly, which made it easy to place an order + pay. We were advised that our order would be ready in 15 to 30 mins, and it was. We don't live very close to Pasquale's so it did require us to take the freeway to get there, however no more than a 15 minute ride. When I went inside to pick up the pizza, I noticed this place was jumpin' . It's a very small mom + pop restaurant, however it didn't stop them from having a dining room full of customers who were dining in, and about 15 staff behind the counter completing orders. I approached the counter and was pleasantly greeted by a happy, smiling young lady. I received my order and made a mad dash out the door to see how fast I could get home before this pizza turns completely cold. ‍ First impression was that this pizza smelled great! It was evenly layered with pepperoni + sausage, and just the right amount of cheese. PROS: Not overly salty; pleasant sauce, not too tangy or overbearing; this was truly a large size pizza, more than enough for two people to share. CONS: Some of the pieces were burnt on the edges; the pizza seasoning is a little too strong for our taste buds. Overall Pasquale's Pizza + Pasta has pretty decent pizza. I would definitely like to try them again to sample their pasta. Something tells me that's where I'm gonna find a hidden gem .

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.
