The food was amazing Some of the best breakfast I have ever eaten The pancakes were fresh and golden The eggs were just how I like them a little under done. The hash brown potatoes were full of flavor and made fresh. This place is 10/10 If you have a change go check it out. I will be going back soon for more delicious food. Thanks to the amazing staff And the clean dining room.

Horrible the waste Hatian food I ever had in my entire lifetime

This restaurant need to be shut down wasting my time and money. Beware that the food is not fresh or has any seasoning. The food taste like it was three days old sitting in the fridge. This restaurant is a kitchen from hell kitchen (Mark my word). The owner is very nice but he lied to me about the food being fresh. I notice there was no smell of food when I walked in the restaurant. He took all the food out of the refrigerator and warm it up and charge us a arm and leg for left over food. God knows how old the food was.

It is very definitely a "classic" cafe with a storng 50's theme. Pictures of 50's icons on the walls, some of the booths made from old cars and 50's items on the menu. For breakfast this morning, I chose a loaded omelet that had ham and peppers and onions with a cheddar cheese. Cooked properly and tasty, it was just what I needed (with the three super sausages) to fuel up for the day. Service was great. Clean restaurant. They do have a small parking lot in the back otherwise it's street parking here. [Review 10448 overall, 215 of 2019.]

Formerly Comets Restaurant, I had breakfast at Norton's Classic Cafe located at the corner of Main Street and West Hollis Street. The atmosphere feels like a scene out of "Happy Days" (per Holly S.) which is very retro 1950s with black & white checkered floors, sea green colored vinyl booths, tables, lunch counter seating, and there's also a special Ford Fairlane cutout booth. There are "portable radios" with a volume knob near every table that plays a 1950s tune, about every 10-15 minutes. The place is decorated with Elvis, classic framed celebrity pictures, old records, model classic cars, and other vintage items such as a jukebox (with CDs), gumball machine, and an old Coke machine face on restroom door. The prices are very reasonable with items priced under $9. The breakfast menu offers egg dishes, omelettes, pancakes, French toast, Belgian waffles, cereal, home fries, and breakfast sides. The lunch menu offers salads, soups, chili, sandwiches, grilled items, comfort dishes, fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, soda fountain favorites, ice cream, desserts, and daily specials. I started out with a bottomless coffee ($1.39) and a Short Stack (3) Pancakes ($3.19) which were light and fluffy. I had the Ham, Egg & Cheese English Muffin Sandwich ($3.69) and crispy & seasoned Home Fries ($1.69), which both very good, which kicks the stuffin' out of McD's Egg Mc Muffin & Hash Brown!! The service was good with refills on coffee and quick delivery of the food and check. HOURS: Monday-Saturday: 6:00AM-2:30PM; Sunday: 7:00AM-2:00PM (breakfast only) COMING SOON: Free WiFi Access

Hot chocolate with whipped cream and coffee. Great way to start our day in downtown Nashua! Hostess is wonderful.

** Patty Melt review **…read more Roadside eatery in a tiny strip plaza. Outside, it looks nothing like the classic New England train car style or New Jersey stainless steel style diners, but inside are countertop with stools, booths around the outskirts, and the hustle and bustle giving it a strong diner vibe. Like my visits to many diners, I was here on my patty melt quest. -- Patty Melt: First, the composition is faithful to the prototype, with a quarter pound patty (no smashburger nonsense), rye bread (no sourdough decoy), buttered (not merely toasted), and with the classic Swiss cheese, sautéed onions and thousand Island dressing. No fusion, no reinvention, no omissions, no hipster jive. Good crispness and butteriness on the bread, great melt on the cheese, and noticeable softness to the onions. Most importantly, the beef could be ordered medium rare, and they executed. More softness, with gushing juices and a really pleasing bite. I suspect nothing special to start with, but they cooked it to near perfection. Only quibble would be not much crust to the patty, but not as critical on a patty melt. -- Fries: I could have had tots or a few other options, but fries were fine. Almost certainly frozen, but the skin-on variety and not the dreaded coated kind. Nothing special, but good enough. Service was adequate. It seemed like everyone was prepping to get everything gathered and cleaned for closing about 90 minutes earlier than necessary, but that didn't detract. If anything, it shows initiative and hustle. Not much data to go on, but an easy 4 for me.

The service is always amazing and the food is always on point and it never disappoints. The ambiance is like a typical diner with booths, no loud music so you can talk to your party. Let's get down to the food. Cinnamon Bun Pancakes- this is my go to because I love it! It's not overly sweet which I love and it reminds me on a cinnamon bun. I always get one lol Country Benedict- this is what I order every time I come here as my main dish. You get buttermilk biscuits instead of English muffins with sausage patties on top and the lovely gravy. The gravy is soo good. CHOCOLATECHIP pancakes- my daughter go to since she loves chocolate lol. Which 5 year old doesn't right? She always gets this and it's really good. So if you're in Hudson be sure to come here, you won't be disappointed.

It professes to be 24/7, which I keep meaning to test. My server at the bar was Bee, and was consistently attentive and helpful as I sat for a while at the bar-like counter, keeping my coffee topped off. I sat for an unhurried while as I nibbled through my meal. Bacon & eggs was good. Eggs over easy, just as I asked. Bacon fully cooked but not rock hard crispy. I get the desire of places to fully cook but don't like it to snap. I want it bendy. This was great for me. I opted for grits, which I admit I don't have often and am not an expert at. She offered cheese on it, and I took cheddar. I don't know what's normal and what's not in grits, but the cheese just kind of sat there atop the grits and didn't mix well. The grits were also pretty watery and lacking in flavor, though adding salt helped a bit. Bread came buttered, but not very. I asked for extra butter, and Bee cheerfully brought a couple extra of those little plastic things. Again, fine service, but the butter in that was not soft and the toast wasn't hot enough to melt it, so it wasn't much help. Still hungry, I asked for a menu and got fries. Not breakfasty, but it was mid-afternoon. Fries came VERY quickly. Coffee continued to be refilled. Fries were plain, not seasoned, which is my personal preference. Bee had warned me while ordering, since I asked about seasoning, that they'd be dipped in some kind of batter. That's NOT my preference, but I had at least ordered them knowingly. Overall, for this day, I give the place high marks on service (thanks, Bee) and quite decent but not at all superlative marks on food.

I am in a wheelchair and the staff must have seen us coming as ChrisAnn (unsure of spelling) greeted us and assisted us (husband and I) with the doors (which are not automatic) and, as we entered, stated that she already set us up at the first table, which I found to be above and beyond the typical service of any establishment. The menus were already at the table and a chair removed, to make space for my wheelchair. Both of us ordered the steak tips and eggs, which we both enjoyed, cooked exactly as ordered, and as tasty as one can expect. Husband had his with hash browns (?) [pan-fried potato chunks] & toast; mine with grilled English muffin and a side of baked beans. What I really like was the plating, such that none of the food items ran together, that is, the beans were in a small dish separate from the eggs and English and the steak was on a separate small plate, making it easier to cut (without bumping up against other foods). When our son was a young child, we referred to this as "no-touch-atarian" as he really disliked his foods touching one another. Now, some 30+ years later, I have to agree that some food items are just best as stand-alone items. I would have given a full 5 star rating except that I tend to be slightly more critical with my assessments as they relate to accessibility. The parking lot could use a repainting as the lines and handicapped parking symbols were barely visible. They have a ramp to the entrance but, without automatic doors, it can cause difficulties at the top as there is no level area at the top to allow one to stop and prevent the chair from rolling backwards to allow one to open the door. I have a care giver that gets me in and out, so it is not a huge barrier for me personally but I can see it being difficult for more independent wheelchair users. Access to the restroom is a bit awkward but not impossible And the staff helped with that as well.
