TLDR- Reviews seemed good so took a chance. Disappointing first time experience with this…read morerestaurant. I cannot speak to the atmosphere as this is based on a delivery order, but I did speak to someone on the phone who was kind and seemingly attentive, but ultimately I don't think was paying attention and was just agreeing to anything to ultimately get me to place the order? Order arrived incorrectly prepared, missing entree inclusions and wrong beverages. This order was placed at 3PM ish in the afternoon, so I am not sure why items were unavailable. Felt dishonest and was a poor reflection on the restaurant's integrity. Called to ask for recommendations and asked for jerk sauce on jerk chicken. Ordered on Aug.5th and spent $65 dollars on oxtail, escovitch fish and jerk chicken meals plus 2 mild beef patties, coco bread and 3 beverages. I also ordered mac pie, but was refunded since they didn't have it. ALLLLL entrees were missing steamed cabbage and only 1 entree had a sole piece of plantain. Oxtail needed to be cooked a bit longer as pieces were inconsistently tenderized, 'escovitch' fish was just soggy fried fish with no peppers or onions to be found and although decently spiced jerk chicken was dry...like the rice in all the entrees because there was also no gravy present. The only thing that came correctly were the patties and coco bread I didn't really sign up to eat pounds of dry rice and peas. Don't send food out like this.

Delicious Caribbean food! My husband and I ordered five times so far and always consistent tasty…read morefood, delivered quick! Astoria needed a place with this cuisine, just as good as Flatbush area! A must try!

I've ordered from here at least 3 times and they've only gotten my order correct one time. Idk why…read morethey don't follow instructions and/or take the time to read customers' orders. Are they drinking on the job or something? Smh! Such a shame and a waste of time and money. I will continue to support small and black owned businesses, but unfortunately I won't be supporting this one any longer.

My friend and I visited here on Friday at 6pm. It was pretty empty, only 2 other parties were in…read morethere. Took off a star cuz the service started off poor. There were two young ladies standing behind the bar but no one greeted us. We stood by the door for maybe 5 mins before we were acknowledged and asked if we wanted to sit a table or the bar. It took another 10 mins or so before WE had to ask for a menu. After that, the young lady that served us was good and personable. The ambiance in here is pretty chill. They had a DJ that played a good mix of music. They also have a bunch of games like jenga, giant uno, connect four etc. They have happy hour M-F 4-7pm. $5 shots, $8 rum punch and margaritas (+ $1 per flavor), and $10 L.I.T, $10 wings & fries and $12 shrimp & fries (+ $2 per flavor). Drinks: We did the margaritas which are $8 +$1 for flavors. We had the passion fruit, mango, and raspberry flavors. Passion fruit was my fave, mango was a tad bit sweet but when I asked the server to add a shot to fix it, she did. Food: we had the lemon pepper and buffalo wings and fries. The wings were good but the lemon pepper flavor was light and just sprinkled on. The crab legs were really good! It's cooked in a curry sauce, I just wished they actually served it in the sauce. I had to ask for melted butter. We weren't really hungry but from the few things I had, it seems their food is good. I would go back to try some more menu items.
