I dont like to give bad reviews but i think this place deserves it.. i have ordered a couple of times from this place and each time there is a diferent issue. one time they brought me the wrong food and tried to make me pay for something i did not ordered . on a separate occation they took a very long time to deliver the food and i received an undercooked cold stake and uncooked rice.... and my latest order which will be my last .. i received soggy chicken wings and they were raw!! not fully cooked! i dont understand but i just know that i will never order from this establishment ever... read more

Horrible service, went this morning for breakfast , the girl told me to seat wherever I like, sat down for 3 min got up when to the bar , sat down for 2 min , guy preparing bread at the bar just looking around , nobody came along ,got up and left, never again would go in that place, bad customer service where everyone ignores you completely. read more

I like this place, reminds me of some good times in my life. Food is always fresh and staff members are polite.

Food is good once you're given utensils, napkins or water (That was my first experience)...... decided to give this place another try after the horrible service I got because the food was good but this time I didn't even bother sitting, I was given attitude by one of the waitresses at the front. Their staff is the worst! Learn some customer service skills. This Caribe is the closest to my house but I'd rather drive to their Flagler location than come here again. If I could put a no star rating I would have cause they don't deserve any rating. We ordered fried yuca with our meal and instead they tried to pass off fried malanga. We are Cubans and know the difference. The yellow rice was cold. We asked that they heat it up and instead we got the same plate just as cold as the first. To top it off the fried fish we ordered was bad, as I am now sick to my stomach on the toilet writing this review. We have been coming to this restaurant at least once a week for nearly two years, I will never eat there again. Waitress apologized for the food but that was not enough. They have changed most of the waitresses and whenever i go they have never gotten my order wrong which is great. Guow! The most delicious Cuban food I've had in a long time. It's most likely the best. I wasn't in the mood for cooking which is usual so I ordered take out. Thursdays special includes a carne asada. It was so freakin juicy..I felt like I died and went to carne heaven. Really tasted homemade. It came with fluffy white rice and black beans that weren't soupy at all. At most latin american restaurants I feel like their beans are cheap, a bunch of stock and a few beans..I'm exaggerating a tad but you get the point. But the last two times I went I have received old food. they really don't do anything about it either when they are addressed about the issue. Extremely terrible customer service. The lady that I was told her name is Carolina, answers the phone and says I can place an order for pick up and as she is taking my order I don't know if she hung up on me or the phone lost service. I called back within a second and the same lady picks up and I told her I was just talking to you and you were taking my order for pick up she interrupts me talking and tells me they are closed and hangs up on me. I called again, I said the same, but before I finish my sentence again she hangs up on me. This lady should not have a job. She does not know customer service or how to treat people. I frequent this place often and have really grown to like it. It offers food to rival some of the way more expensive restaurants in this genre. They have a nice cafeteria outside that offers some excellent cuban coffee as well as empanadas. My favorite empanada is the ham and cheese. I have quite a few recommendations beginning with the pan con bistec and the miami sandwich. All the sandwiches they make are actually good. I also really like the tamal en casuela and bistec de milanesa. I also suggest you try the Vaca frita. The milkshakes are also always thick and tasty. The portions are huge and the food is always fresh. I have never had a problem with the service but it does get very crowded on saturday mornings, so you might have to wait for a table. Sometimes you also have to park kind of far. Overall I can say that I do enjoy eating here. read more

We just moved our offices to Hialeah and Caribe is 5 mins away. This used to be the old Latin America for all the folks that know the Hialeah area. (So sad they closed down, they had bomb ass garbanzo frito along with so many other meals). Plus they deliver= we order at least 2 a week from here. Mondays they have Carne con papa, heavenly! The sauce is so delicious, meat is very soft, and vegetables fall apart with the touch of a fork- you can taste that it has been simmering for hours. Carne asada dish is good- it is actually like a piece of skirt steak, not roasted beef as they claim it is- whatever who cares as long as the dish is good. Steak is tender and seasoned just right. I claim myself to be a mariquitas connoisseur, their mariquitas are off the hook! Always freshly made and their Mojito is oh so yummy. Just make sure you have gum or mints handy for your after eating garlic death breath! Lol Their chicken soup and ajiaco are also good. Their caribe especial sandwich is a meat overload, if you're a carnivore you can't go wrong with this sandwich! Pollo empanizado is passable. i love their croqueta preparada! Their arroz Moro is good, fufu is tasty, black beans are enjoyable as well. Stay away from their vaca frita- not cooked or taken apart well. I tried eating healthy one day and ordered vegetables with my meal- yuck! They served huge chunks of the veggies barely cooked. Pollo deshuesado (chicken without bones) not good either, chicken had a lot of fat and go figure there was a bone in it. Overall if you are in the area and craving a quick Cuban meal this is a go to spot with decent prices. read more

I called to address a SMALL situation that occurred on my visit the day before and the manager had little to no respect toward me or the information I provided him with. This is the place you always fall back on to have Cuban food. It's a cafeteria style restaurant that also delivers. It's your typical latin, neighborhood restaurant. Their food is good, quick service and great prices. My husband and I live very close and the only thing that makes me keep ordering from them is that they deliver breakfast even after 11am on weekends.
