Traveling from California and this place was yummy and the margaritas were delish. Would definitely come here again if we were in town.

I had been to the original off of Magruder before. Popped in here for a quick bite before flying home. It had been a long week and wanted one more rita for the trip home. Ordered the Texas size, frozen, no salt. It's good, but on this one it was just a bit too tart. I finished it, more so cuz I knew the price I had paid for it than it tasted that good. Ordered a chicken fajita taco salad. It needed more. Needed pico and maybe even more salsa. It lacked flavor. Chicken was a bit dry, definitely not juicy. This place is iconic in EP, unfortunately my last couple of trips to C&M have only been average. The food is very spicy. My kids barely touched their food. However, the margaritas were huge and tasty. The ambiance was very nice and has really cool decor. If you are going with your kids, feed them first or don't bring them because they won't eat the food. If you like spicy then it is a perfect restaurant for you. read more

Love this place! Great food, fun ambiance, and nice staff. I usually get either the Tacos Al Carbon or the Albóndigas and Quesadillas, my favorite. It can get pretty busy and parking is usually hard to find, but even still you usually won't wait more than 15 minutes for a table. Definitely recommend this place! read more

this is not my first time to this restaurant, but this time the service and the food was horrible. Let's start with our server. When I told her, we need a separate bills, she gave us a dirty look like it was too much work for her and questioned it. I told her don't worry you'll still get a tip. The strawberry pros and margaritas were the special for the night, when we got our bill, we were charged $13.50 per drink. There was eight of us drinking. that will add up quickly. When we got our food, I ordered the cheese chili Rellanos, and they were undercooked, and did not have very much cheese in them.. she couldn't understand that I wanted one chili plain and one with salsa on it. so, we got our bill, one of the girls asked what the special price was on the drinks we had the server said it was only a couple of cents. Well it turned out it was $3.50 per drink that we were overcharged. One of the other girls I was with went to manager. And all the manager did was correct our bill. He didn't Compass anything basically just apologized. oh, and the tortilla soup was the most horrid stuff I've ever tasted in my life. I paid an extra $2.50 to add chicken to it, and it was barely a little chunk. There was no cheese in it and the sauce was the same sauce they used for every other dish. Needless to say, it's gonna be a long time before I go back there. Unless I just wanna have a strawberry margarita. That was the best thing that we had everything else sucked. read more

The food was fine, but the service was beyond horrendous. I was physically threatened by the waiter and have never in my life felt so disrespected while eating at a restaurant. The whole time, he was kind of rude and condescending to us. He talked down to my friend and said no when she asked for an accommodation to her meal to make it vegan. Additionally, it took a long time for our food to come out even though virtually no one was in the restaurant. We were also never offered any drinks, so I pulled water out of my bag, took a sip, and forgot to put it back. The waiter came over, got very close to my face (about 3 inches away), touched my back, and scolded me like I was a child for leaving it on the table. I am a young woman, and he was an older man. He would have never spoken to a man this way, and he would have never spoken to me this way if a man was at the table with us. It was intentional intimidation because I am a small woman. I was stunned speechless by the aggressive and inappropriate nature of his behavior, as well as threatened by his invasion of my personal space. If the management and staff find this kind of behavior appropriate, I would never recommend anyone eat there. If I could leave zero stars, I would. As a side note, there are actually no vegan or vegetarian options at this location, contrary to what Google says. Not that I'd recommend eating here to anyone, but if you have those dietary needs, you won't be able to eat anything. read more

Went for dinner. The waiting was not not bad. We were seated within 20 minutes,but our waiter was not friendly and he was lazy. He threw across the table napkins instead of going around the table. When our drinks came He adjed whose was who and yes I told him my drink and to walk around to hand. After our meal he asked how my meal was I told him they forgot to add crab meat and he picked ny plate and started to pick at it and agrue with me that it did have...I will never eat there and recommend to any out of towners to go there. I took my family from out of town here on Friday night. We had a large reservation and were seated immediately. The service was excellent, the waiter was attentive and friendly, and we enjoyed the food. The live music was also nice, not too loud that we couldn't talk to each other. Overall one of the better restaurants I've been to in El Paso. The Texas margarita was awesome read more

Very very good Mexican cuisine at the El Paso airport. Love that the chips are as big as tortillas. Fresh guacamole on the dish and the rice is delicious. The rice Is not orange is white and well seasoned. A must stop if ever at the El Paso airport. read more

Very good food. Atmosphere is great. Live music we could hear. It was at the bar area. We had an issue with the restaurant trying to sit as many people as possible into this one area, that they added a long table that has folding legs. The chair's back that was behind me was side by side with my chair's back. So when that person scooted back, they were sitting next to me. Felt very uncomfortable. Told the manager but nothing changed. She wanted me to move to another chair on the table, but we were waiting on another couple to join us. read more

Oodly the Southwest ticket counter person recommended this place located on the 1st floor. Terribly bland, unable to adjust (add to or alter), any of the choices on their menu & very so so beans/rice/extras. I ate one Flanta? (Tightly wrapped chicken taco), as eating any more was an insult to my taste buds. I fully aware it's airport food, but it's a full service sit down restaurant. PS: I was never asked how I liked the food at any time. Hopefully my 90% uneaten plate sent a message? This place is legendary in El Paso. I flew in from Nashville on business and this place is awesome. Great food and great service. The margaritas are out of this world. Make sure you have someone picking you up or call a lyft or uber because their margaritas will do a number on you but man their good. They also have a dance floor and I really enjoyed watching others have a great time. This place is a must when visiting El Paso. I will be back that's for sure. read more

I think I would come here for the atmosphere and the margaritas. As for the food, it isn't anything special. I ordered the chimichanga and the chicken was dry and cheese sauce had too much salt in it. My husband and I did however, enjoy the mariachi band. read more
