Absolutely amazing! I have gone to this location for a ton if years with me and my friends. Even if we were a a couple cents short the manager balbino would always come through. This restaurant doesnt deserve the bad reviews. Just because the voice ai is annoying its only because there are minimal but very hard working people trying to make your food and they just need a little assist. the automated/machine voice at the drive through is kind of jarring. i think we'd all rather speak to a legit human, which thankfully did eventually come on the speaker to confirm my order. the female cashier who took my payment & brought out our food was actually super nice. my order was wrong though. i got two kids meals, one for my daughter & one for myself because i wasn't too hungry. both with chicken stars, one with criss-cut fries & one with regular. at the speaker the person who eventually came on to the speaker asked if it was ok that there an upcharge for the criss-cut fries & i confirmed. i did pay for it but unfortunately both the kids meals had the regular fries. not the end of the world but if i'm going to pay for it i do expect to receive it. the chicken stars were pretty good though. they did change their sauces, their bbq used to be really good but now it just tastes sweet, unfortunate. read more

I am so happy to find a Carl's Jr in Aliso Viejo/Laguna Hills! Lived here for years as the palm tree hamburger place predatorily opened stores inches from two Laguna Niguel Carl's and ran them under, and now trying to do the same in San Juan C. Wrote to Miss Snyder but got no response. There's plenty of burger market niche to go around, but I've digressed... so happy!to find this location but like the other nearby locations both current and former? It's too dark from the street, what signage exists is obscured, Again I've driven right by this location for 4 years without realizing there was more than a Chevron Station here. Okay, to the inside ! Clean and comfortable dining room, ( actually)clean and well-stocked bathroom just the friendliest nicest workers and manager, and fresh food ( I mostly just get sides since CKE messed up and killed the Beyond Famous Star, and the Green Burrito, but that's not the franchisee's fault, and Carl's being a part of the Fabric of America? I make it my business to support them in whatever ways I can ) That came out quickly and was delicious I love this Carl's and will be back, often ( wistfully hoping to see the Beyond Famous Star come back, hoping the corporation and owner can get permits from The city, matching CKE funds, etc for a big backlit monument sign on the grass on the corner, some backlit happy star 'turn here' signs on the blink and miss it shared-with-Chevron driveway, light up the parking lot the way the gas station is, brightly, so people will know this excellent Carl's Jr is here. The food is still good but this location is extremely loud. They are playing pretty loud music but there is a computerized voice talking to the drive through customers and it is BLASTING. It drowns out the music and you can't even hear the actual human cashier speak. We don't need to hear the customer's order in the restaurant. Then the employees are all yelling at each other. It is bedlam. You would think 100 people were in there. I have been here many times in the past and it was not like this. They need to turn down that drive through speaker. read more

on May 9th I ordered A simple order waffle fries & Onion rings X2 with a large Coke Zero and somehow they messed up my order and gave me a western Bacon burger/french fries & 6 star nuggets with a large sprite I am diabetic & took enough insulin for the onions & waffles not the sprite I told them about it and the guy at the front desk gave me an attitude and without saying it told me to screw off. I had an amazing experience at this location thanks to the cashier Balbino. Me and my co workers stopped by for a quick lunch break and he greeted us with so much enthusiasm, he was patient and helped me make an order as I don't normally eat at Carls Jr. Once seated he brought the food to us and even made sure our drinks, condiments and food were good. Terrible service; we went there as there was a 2 for $10 offer in the mobile app. When we got there the app all the sudden said the store wasn't taking app orders. We asked the drive thru guy and he said it was "broken". So instead the two sandwiches ended up being $18. Carls is typically very overpriced for the quality so normally wouldn't go there but was stuck and the deal got me. That specific location also typically has quality issues and this time was no different, dry lukewarm food. read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. I can't understand how other Carl's Jr never have this problem but this one. What's the point of the drive thru if they always ask you to pull over to the side and wait your order. There wasn't a line of cars behind, there didn't seem to be a lot of people waiting inside. I spend over 10 mins waiting outside for a Santa Fe wrap. A really simple order. I finally decided to walk inside to realize that on order was sitting on the warming station ready to go. I ordered a beyond famous star and asked for no cheese. I also asked for thousand island dressing on the side. I went inside because they forgot the sauce. The gold buck tooth lady had no idea what I was talking about and I had to explain what the sauce was... and they're all speaking Spanish thinking I don't know what they're saying . The lady in the back who was cooking is yelling complaining because she doesn't know how to take simple orders. I open my burger and there is cheese. The location was DEAD by the way... and by the look of the reviews I wish I would have screened this place before I went. I used to be in the restaurant industry and food service. The absolute worst customer service experience ever. I am almost at a loss of words. First off this employee, had no patience as I was ordering my meal. When I got to the window. No one greeted me, I waited for 5 minutes before someone popped out there head. From there he said... "where's your coupon" and I gave him my sheet of coupons. Unfortunately the one that I wanted to use was smack dab in the middle and typically most drive thru associates would tear/cut out the one they needed. No.. not Sergio. I said hm okay... so I found a way to rip my way through to the coupon I needed. Handed it to him & asked if I could have two waters with the two burgers. You know, the one that makes Carl's Jr. so popular with the onion rings, bbq sauce, melted cheese, hot beef.... not so much! I got a burger that got cold as soon as I unwrapped it. The cheese wasn't melted. I was in a hurry, so I forced myself to eat it. I knew I would regret it, but I was hungry. I didn't eat anything except for cream of wheat for dinner. I just wanted that burger out of my digestive system. This was around 1:30 so I must have got the lunch rush leftovers. Don't get me wrong. I've eaten at many Carl's Jr. restaurants over the years and they are always consistent. However, I've had lunch at this location several times as it is close to my work, and each time have been very disappointed. I ordered a Beyond Famous Star from the tall Hispanic guy with glasses( who I believe is the owner or manager) , and ended up with some kind of a bacon burger. When I let them know, he didn't even apologize, just said hold on and we'll make a new one. Almost every table in there was dirty, the Coke in the soda machine wasn't working, and the surrounding area was filthy. I assume these are franchises, and if so it would behoove Carl's Jr. to take a little better look into how this place is being run. Lastly, the burger tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. It wasn't warm and the bun was pretty hard on the edges. Needless to say, I won't be going back here again. read more

Carl's Jr. Is a large chain American burger franchise. This specific location is in Aliso Viejo on Aliso Creek Rd. In my opinion, this isn't the best location. It doesn't open as late as other locations and the hours are very confusing. Often times, an open sign will be displayed and lit up and you go through the drive thru and realize it's closed. The food is the same quality as other locations though. The customer service is fair. Overall, there is better Carl's Jr. Options around the area. read more

Our experience at this Carl's Jr was exceptional. The staff was very attentive and made sure all was to our satisfaction. The food was tasty and well done. The staff actually brought a drink refill to our table! That has never happened at any fast food establishment! When we were leaving, I believe it was the manager who walked us to the door and held it open for us. Very charming. I would return to this Carl's Jr because of this wonderful, attentive gentleman.
