I decided to write this review after I couldn't achieve satisfactory resolution of a messed up order with the manager. Here's what happened: I ordered a Guacamole Bacon Burger Meal with no onions, to go. The Guacamole Burger costs more than the others, presumably because of the guacamole. Later, after I left and started eating it somewhere else, I discovered 1) there was no guacamole whatsoever and 2) there were onions. Since I was starving, I removed the onions and ate the burger anyway. An hour later I went back to the restaurant to politely point out the error they made and asked for a resolution. I showed them the picture of the guacamole-lacking Guacamole burger I ate, and the onions. No, they did not give me another burger. No, they did not offer to give me a full refund. No, they did not even refund me the $1.10 difference between the Guacamole burger and another burger. No, the manager on duty did not apologize. She said there is nothing she could do since I ate the sandwich instead of throwing it away. Interesting logic! I pay you for something, you don't deliver what I paid for, and there is nothing you can do? Fellow Yelpers: if one day you have a hankering for a Guacamole Burger without any guacamole, at the full Guacamole Burger price, this is your place! This location is terrible. I'm only giving it one star because there are no lower choices. Bathrooms look like something you'd expect south of the US border. Tables were dirty, greasy and didn't look like they'd been clean in a while. Not sure how this place passes health inspections. I would also think that Carl's Jr corporate would do random checks. read more

Fair to average fast food. Went inside at 8 pm on a Sunday, staff was courteous & quick. Got our order correct & brought it to our table, very nice. Kiddo likes the play area, seems decently clean. The bathroom was clean, kind of dark & a little run down, but clean. Food is good for fast food - I'd rate it about McDonald's but below Jack in the Box. read more

Stopped by in a random city during our road trip. To our surprise staff was very kind, quick and helpful. the place was very well taken care of as well. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled good unlike others. Places like this in random small cities are hard to find. Management is definitely doing a good job holding up the place. I would never eat here again. My friends I were driving from Arizona to California, and were in the mood for a tasty burger. I order a burger and combo at 10pm (it was still open) and it took 15 minutes for them to give it to us in the drive through! We even turned off our car. The sad part is that it came out cold! While I was waiting and starving, I thought that maybe the burger was going to be super fresh and that's why it took so long. I was wrong, the beef had black char that was hard on my teeth and the ingredients were messy and not nicely put into the burger. I love Carl's Jr because of the burgers and prices, but I will never go back to this location and I highly recommend that you don't either. read more

Worst place ever!!! Parking lot is sketchy as F*CK!!! Tried to park to take our dogs out and some thug rushed our car. Then sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes in line and didn't get to order. *** Pit stop review (Blythe) *** This Carl's Jr is located in the downtown area of Blythe. There are many other places to eat in the surrounding Blythe downtown area. There aren't any other restaurants or gas stations for the next 65 miles westbound. So this is the main stop at the border to Arizona. The low-down: Food = as expected (normal burgers) Eating area = clean Service = soooo slowwwww... There were a lot of customers. But it was still pretty slow. Restroom = poor... The restroom seems dingy and dark. The stall doors had broken locks... and did I say it was dark like a dungeon in the stall. Here's a tip for all of you dudes who can't pee straight (...and you know who you are...). Either find a bush or sit down! Obviously you're not that clean if your target is your foot. So do everyone a favor and grab a seat. read more

Stopping in Blythe after visiting Tucson, my husband and I stopped at Carl's Jr. Normally it is ok fast food, but here in Blythe (like other reviews) avoid this stop like the plague! First, homeless all over the place. We couldn't park in the shade because it was taken over by homeless.... We were traveling with dogs and did not want to park in the sun, which we had to anyway. On our way in, there was a homeless man sitting right next to the entrance talking to himself. I probably sound insensitive but I don't want to walk into a restaurant with homeless man right outside talking to himself.... Bathroom - Walking into the bathroom was a whole other experience ... Dark and broken handles to the stalls. I couldn't even hang my purse while I dealt with my business and no way would I put it down on THAT floor! Leaving the bathroom I felt more dirty than entering. Ordering- my husband ordered first and I didn't know exactly what I wanted (I'm not a huge fan of fast food) so I could tell I was annoying the cashier by taking my time. My husband said it was like asking a teenager to do their homework.... Just seemed very annoyed we were asking her to work. The other person working was yelling at the cook for not getting stuff out fast enough because she was waiting. She was very rude to him and complaining. Food- gross like I would have been happier to have forgone food period!!!! Oh and while we were waiting and eating we were attacked my many flies .... Very gross and unappetizing! Stopped at the Carl's Jr on a Friday around 1pm on the way to L.A. from Phoenix, and it was a madhouse. A line of hot and hungry travelers all wanting there Western Bacon Cheeseburgers. Unfortunately, this Carl's Jr is just GROSS. The bathrooms were GROSS. Very dirty! I am glad that I am a guy, can take care of business while standing, and can keep touching things to a minimum. I felt sorry for my two daughters. The staff was also GROSS. The man who helped us looked like a manager (short sleeve shirt with tie and mustache). He was sweaty and coughing a lot. I watched him and he was not going near the food, or I would have left. The rest of the staff was arguing and bumping into each other in a manner that would have made the Keystone Cops proud. The dining room was GROSS. Not a clean table in the entire place. Again, I had to warn the kids not to touch anything while I did my best to wipe a table down. Wish I had had some Clorox wipes. All said, though, when we actually got the food, it was not bad. Of all the fast food restaurants, Carl's Jr. is towards the top of my list. Not good enough, though, to make up for everything else. Overall, do your best to avoid Blythe. The whole town is kind of gross, even the mini-marts smell funny and are dirty. There is nothing charming about this little town. Next time, I will plan better to know where there are places to stop other than anyplace in Blythe. read more

Horrible ,horrible ,horrible. I hate leaving bad review's for places. My husband and myself always are really compassionate on people who work for $10.00 an hour it must be hard . however to be rude is something else . my husband ordered a dubble westren he recived something else. We waited in the drive thru line to replace it. The lady rudly took the hamager away and went to back to replace it. We ask if we could have the hamabuger back we wanted to gift it to a homeless man . she said no wd habe to throw it away. Then my husband ask for a soda for our inconvence of having to go thru and fix the problem we got no we dont give anything for free. The play place rocked! I was able to go inside & play with my kids, but that was the only good thing about this place. I got a Santa Fe Chicken & it was practically inedible (super chewy & grisly), we waited forever for our food & they acted like it was a chore to take our order. Ive worked for many fast food places for many years so I know what's to be expected, I've also worked at Carl's Jr. Just not this location. This is the worst place to eat in Blythe with Burger King being the second worst. First off I'll give you a Heads up, don't ask for ranch because they won't give you any. You can't even buy any because they don't have a way of charging you. They are told by management that they can not give out ranch unless you order chicken strips. One ranch for 3 strips. Many people like ranch with their burgers or fries and if you are one of them then this isn't the place for you. Also whenever you order a sandwich it's always smashed down and the small piece of lettuce is always wilted no matter what you order. I ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich, $10 and the chicken is always dry and old, tiny piece of lettuce, small piece of green chili and smashed beyond. And even if you are the only car in the drive thru expect a 30 minute wait. I don't understand what takes so Long for 2 burgers... EVERYTIME! Needless to say I won't go back again.. read more

Four stars only because the manager here is a complete class act - friendly, helpful, very nice to family traveling with 1 small children who spilled milk. Looks like they renovated it recently. Food is good - some of the better fast food burgers from chains in my opinion. Just like any fast food place sometimes the service can be great and other times it can suck. Most of the time this place is clean and the staff is friendly, but their Diet Dr. Pepper is always watered down. I love a Double Westen or the Big Carl...my cardiologist appreciates them too because they keep funding his kids college tuition :-) read more

This place has gotten some rough reviews, so perhaps I just got lucky this time (or maybe they are trying to improve??). We also were driving via I10 and needed a place to stretch our legs, but importantly to let our two year old play. The bathroom was bad. No two ways about it. Truck stop bathroom, no toilet paper in my stall, afraid to let my shorts hit the floor. It smelled and floor was wet. Our order was made just the way we asked, and we got it quickly. All our food was fine; typical Carls Jr/fast food. The playground is pretty great. Three stories high, it's huge and looks fun. The room smells weird, but that's not uncommon to most of these places. My kid loved having a place to play after being car-trapped. I do wish they had those antibacterial hand wipes for the table and hands, for after play and before the meal! read more

Words cannot describe how disappointed I am in this location. We had 10 minutes to stop and get a couple milkshakes before getting back on the road and continue on our trip to Los Angeles. 10 minutes should be plenty of time to get a couple milkshakes, right? Wrong. It took 15 minutes for our group of 5 to receive all of our milkshakes. The first milkshake came out quickly. By the time the other milkshakes were done, that first milkshake was long gone. We have now been sitting in the drive through for over half an hour. We thought it would be quicker to do the drive through and get back on the road due to the storms and flash flood watches tonight. We did not realize we would still be here half an hour later! There were cars behibd us in the drive through so we couldnt back out. And then we pulled up to the window and our drinks were not ready yet, and we had to sit and wait for our food for another 10 minutes. The crazy thing is, no explanation for the wait. It doesn't appear to be busy inside, and no apology or explanation from the window clerk as to why it has taken so long. read more

ZERO stars This place is nice,people we're nice, but the food is terrible. We stopped there on Monday in our way to Ontario California from Phoenix. We got 4 taco salads... well at least is what they called it. The beans we're very liquid like a soup, lettuce was mixed into the beans,this was more like a terrible soup. This place is a sh!t-hole worst than a truck stop by far. Discussing and rundown restrooms. Tables that are so dirty they are still sticky after being wiped down. Burger appears as if they just boiled it not any grilling marks it's just plain grey slop. You would hope after all this you might be able to safely get a drink... lol no way in hell, both ice machines were broke 6 of 10 fountain drink dispensers were broke. I just tossed my cup and left thirsty after being ripped off. This is worst than ghetto, worst than a wank-bank truck stop, safer to stop in Mexico and cleaner by far. Corporate should have shut this place down years ago. Obviously they care nothing about their brand or customers. I will probably not be stopping at a Carl's Jr. for a very long time. This place was gross. The store is dirty, the restrooms are disgusting.. the ketchup pump is broken and there's crust all over it. The soda machine is off, and the water tasted so gross! The food took forever, the joint was dirty as all get up and the kids playground was in desperate need of a nuclear bomb of a cleaning. The bathroom made a porta potty look like a 5-star hotel. Manager was on top of his game greeting almost every customer in the door, making sure crew was on top of expediting orders during lunch time, and he was even delivering meals to customers and making sure the order was correct.
