I have nothing but good things to say about this Carl's Jr. We were tired and hungry with 3 dogs in the car (and fish and a cat) on our way to the Bay Area from Austin. Stopped for gas in Blythe and decided to go through the drive through for a burger. I hadn't been to a Carl's Jr. in ages, but the line went fast and the food came out hot. The dogs got kiddie burgers with cheese and nothing else and I got a famous star. Mine was perfect; it was juicy and delicious, with lots of fresh lettuce, tomato and onion. Worst. Carl's. Ever. I gave them one star, but not because of the food, and for sure not for the service. No, the one star is for the fact that the bathrooms were fairly clean. Ordering inside was fast, quick, but once they get your money, prepare for horrible service. The order took literally 13 minutes to arrive to the table, and there wasn't many customers in the restaurant. I ordered French Toast dips, and they forgot the syrup...what's dips without the syrup. Biscuits and gravy were okay, although the gravy tasted like it was seasoned with Green Burrito taco meat. It wasn't "bad" just kind of weird if you're not expecting that. The workers working behind the counter were having trouble getting orders right, seemed to be kind of confused. I arrived late, Tuesday night, in Blythe, to work for the remainder of the week. There were few options available at 10pm so I opted for CJ's. I ordered a "big carls" combo and took it back to the room. I have ordered this menu item before and it has been a fine value comparatively. This, however, is the best side of my experience with CJ's, and Blythe. One hour after eating I was remanded to my hotel restroom. The wait staff here is so unorganized and unprofessional. One worker was eating food behind the counter in front of customers. Food sat waiting for too long because the staff was too busy talking to each other. Conversations where inappropriate and unprofessional. The restaurant is old but clean, food was typical and service was quick. The draw for me is the indoor climbing playground which was a nice break for both my kids (4 and 1 year olds). I would recommend it for families of young children. And for those singletons out there, the family play area is a separate area so you'll have your peace and quiet on the other side of the restaurant. read more

Couldn't figure out why the two cars ahead of us were taking ridiculously long... and why are they trying to back up? Weird. Then I got to the speaker... Waited 15m in drive thru... With the lady saying, 'I'll be right with you' and "hold on" til eventually her saying "ok, come inside, we're backed up". I feel the need to express how filthy this establishment is. I've seen rest stop bathrooms better than this place. The floor in the food area was filthy also. It's not like they were swamped with customers to take the time to clean. Instead the girls working here were busy on their phones. I will not stop here again, ever. Worst bathrooms ever! The women's room smells horrible. The floor is always filthy. The stall doors are always broken. We come here for the food as opposed to surrounding fast food restaurants but we can't wait to get out. The staff is unfriendly. The charbroiled chicken sandwich is made different every time. This time the chicken was whole with score marks. A fork was provided but not a knife. Had to ask for one. If this is a franchise store - shame on the owner! Stopped in for a Mushroom $6 burger. When I started driving on the freeway, they gave me one with jalapenos. Drove back and waiting in the drive-thru for nearly 15 minutes. Asked them if they'd be able to give me a shake to at least compensate me for my inconvenience, and they tried hassling me. After everyone gossiping about how they screwed up my meal, someone obliged and presented a shake, apologizing profusely. This Carl's Jr was so packed! Literally a line out of the door. We wisely chose the drive thru and were served pretty quickly. The service at the drive thru was good and our order was correct. I live in Long Beach and am taking a trip to AZ. Stopped at this location and came inside to stretch my legs. GROSSEST CARLS JR. EVER. My mother and I were driving to Arizona and stopped to get lunch. We went through the drive through and my mother ordered a salad and I ordered a burrito. We were asked what kind of dressing and asked for ranch. We also asked for hot sauce when we got to the window. It took 10 minutes to get our food and there was no one in front of us. When we did get our food, we drove away and got on the freeway only to find out that they had not given us ranch dressing, hot sauce, napkins of a fork! Who gives someone a salad and no fork to eat it with? So my mother ended up eating her salad dry with her fingers... I will not be going back to this Carl's Jr. read more

Unnecessary long wait times! If you like waiting in your car with hungry people all around then this place is for you! When you eventually talk to the person taking your order they do offer good service, but it's as if they aren't expecting customers so one person handles taking orders, serving, cleaning dining room, dumping trash. So.... At around 12:30am my friend and I decided to go to grab some food. Now we ordered which took really long because she took forever to answer us through the intercom thing. Then when we got to the window she looked really upset. My friend & I tried to split the bill, but she told us to just pay with one card because she DIDN'T want to erase the order and re do it. Then she gave our order, but forgot our chocolate cakes. We then asked for it, she gave us a blank upset look then stormed back to go grab us the cakes. We didn't get any food, but grabbed a couple shakes! The service was incredible for a fast food place. It was very fast and friendly. We felt welcomed here. We both had a strawberry shake, which wasn't the best strawberry shake we have had, but it did the job. It wasn't very thick and was a little to watered down for me. The food is as good as any other Carl's junior I've been in. My kids prefer their play area to the McDonald's play place. Service was very slow but courteous. Not overly crowded. Also not overly clean. The children's place needs a serious scrub down. It's pretty grimy. read more

NASTY is all I can say to describe this place. I like Carl's jr a lot. I like their new French toast breakfast sand also. Not at this location. I ordered a French toast sandwich and a steak breakfast burrito and received a bacon grilled cheese instead of a burrito. How does that even sound close to a steak breakfast burrito. The French toast sandwich was just plain NASTY and the other thing was inedible. This store has no quality control of any kind. Food was old and cold. They just don't care here.
