    Look st those grill marks!

Let's start with the flame broiled burger. So tasty! This burger is a step above other fast food burgers. No frying here!  I am a new fan! Also, pickles! No flimsy, thin, tired pickle slices. These pickles are a serious bite! While I am a giant fan of the burgers, I am not so thrilled with the fries. They always have many droopy fries. They are also the greasiest fries I've tasted. Thumbs down. Because of the fries, I can only give 4 stars. However, I'm definitely coming back--these are excellent fast food burgers!

Carl's Jr. Never fails, always slaps! They did forget to add the sauce to my burgers but they happily fixed it and all was tasty!

I enjoyed our time here and i liked how the lady at the counter was so helpful and nice. it was clean and smelled like they just mopped which is always nice. i enjoyed the jalapeño poppers and the burger (had to much tomatoes and lettuce for me but still good). i remember eating their burgers when i was a kid and still love them!

The service was so fast and helpful, on top of the food being delicious I really enjoyed this location! I got the Guacamole Bacon Burger and fried zucchini. It took a little longer for the zucchini to cook, so they had me pull forward in the drive thru and brought my food to me! It was so delicious and reminded me of how good Carl's Jr really is!

Yummy, juicy, and man, even the pickles were hittin' on this Super Star with Cheese.

First time visiting a Carl's Jr. in probably 5 plus years and it did not disappoint. Burger was juicy, beef was flavorful and lots of it, the fries were hot and crispy and the Coke Zero was just right. I don't know the last time I visited a fast food burger joint and everything was just right, well, other than In N Out. But I liked the burger more than In N Out which sounds crazy but it was a SOLID Super Star with cheese which really is one of my all time favorite fast food burgers. Farmer Boys on 17th in Santa Ana makes just about the best fast food chain burger out there tho but that's like 1500 miles away. Maybe I'll go there tomorrow

For fast food it was good. I don't really eat fast food anymore and when I do, it would be something like wendy's or taco bell. I get nervous eating fast food but I was craving it and decided to order out. My shake was melted and my fries were cold by the time my food arrived but that could be blamed on my delivery driver. The chargrilled burger was good, but there was hardly any bbq sauce and I also requested mayo which felt absent. I also think my burger only had one onion ring instead of two like the picture. The fries were okay, I really like fries but they were all pretty much ends and on the skinnier side. The jalepeno poppers were good, like a typical frozen brand. The oreo shake was okay... If I were out and it was an option, I honestly wouldn't mind eating here again but it won't be frequent. I may try their breakfast eventually. Overall 7/10 experience for fast food.

I grew up eating at this fast food chain once a month when I was a kid. It was a treat to get a burger from here. Although this is not the same exact spot I frequented as a kid, the food from this still chain still delivers. I appreciate that this chain has one of the tastiest burgers in the game.

    Ah, breakfast at Carl's.

Lazy G BBQ Company in Cedar Park is exactly what it sounds like: lazy. For a BBQ joint in Texas,…read morewhere the standard is high, this place is embarrassingly bad. Rudy's BBQ should be the baseline, yet Lazy G doesn't even reach that. I ordered the ribs and brisket, hoping for something decent, but both were far below average. The brisket was especially disappointing--you could see the congealed fat right in the slices (see pictures). Serving meat at the right temperature is BBQ 101, and their failure here made the texture and flavor a cold, greasy mess. The sides weren't any better. The cucumber salad was bland, with just a dusting of dill and no seasoning whatsoever. Adding salt and vinegar should be a no-brainer, but apparently, even the basics were too much effort here. I was excited to try the smoked mushroom side (as a mushroom lover), but it was downright unpleasant. There was zero smokiness, and the sauce tasted like a watered-down BBQ sauce, giving the button mushrooms a soggy, unappetizing texture. The BBQ sauce was another letdown--it tasted like bottled Sweet Baby Ray's. For a BBQ place, using (or at least mimicking) store-bought sauce is the ultimate red flag that they just don't care. Even at $22 for a two-meat plate, the quality doesn't justify the price. In short, Lazy G BBQ Company doesn't just fall short--it doesn't even try. If their goal was to live up to their name, they succeeded; this food is lazy, uninspired, and, frankly, not worth your time or money.

I would go back just for that pork belly with the black pepper bark! OMG…read more....... My husband never eats mac and cheese and I'll be darned if he didn't finish my Trashy Mac and Cheese for me that evening! Finally! Some mac and cheese that is actually delicious and creamy. The toppings of brisket, bbq sauce, french onions and jalapenos all stirred together makes each bite a little slice of heaven. WOW! The next morning he said, "I kept telling myself I need to leave a little bit more for Lee Lee but I kept opening it back up and eating more until it was all gone!" Good thing I had my bites right when we arrived at our hotel because I was so hungry. My husband ordered sliced brisket and we lucked out and got a few of the brisket burnt ends. They weren't all "candified" like a lot of the other bbq places serve; but they were smoky and delicious. I also enjoyed the potato salad. We were excited to order the smoked mushrooms but honestly, they could have used a bit more flavor for me. You could just tap the salt shaker and it would have been fine. I appreciated the creative side dish and love how the bbq scene has doubled down on the side hustle! It was cold out so we sat on the enclosed patio that had heaters and were very comfortable. We order a couple of beers and waited for our food. The service was friendly. This was a nice dining experience.

Cold beer, nice people, good pizza. Despite living only…read moreabout 15 miles south I don't venture into Cedar Park very often. As I was leaving the We Are Blood donor center on Bell Boulevard, I thought "why not check out a brewery I don't visit very often for lunch?" (kids, I am a professional. Don't try this at home--a brewery visit right after dropping a pint is probably not a donor center recommendation for most normal folks). A search on "breweries near me" revealed that this spot was 1 mile away. Winner. Plenty of parking front and side, the taproom was pleasant inside and out. I took a seat at a nearly full bar next to a good group of World Cup (ESP/AUT) watchers. Two big TVs over the bar, in a large taproom/dining area with 5 more, shared with the sort of "built-in food truck" called "600 Degrees Pizza" except it's a proper pizza shop, no wheels. There's a shaded outdoor patio with a bar window, and 5 more TVs, and a covered tent area beyond that, with a play area for the kiddos. Had a Ray Ray Hazy IPA, crisp and cold and delicious NE-style IPA. I walked over to the pizza counter and ordered a slice, considered the slice/salad lunch special but opted for the HH slice special, pepperoni at $5. Minutes later a guy delivered the single largest pizza slice I have ever tried to hold in my hand to my seat at the bar. Apparently they do a 6-cut TWENTY FOUR INCH PIE for slices, so my slice was 75.4 square inches of tasty gooey goodness. Unwieldy, and took some tactical consumption logistics calculation, but I finished every bit--a meal for me, and I was glad I skipped the salad. Very good pie, and VERY filling. One more small beer, from Jester King, as I watched Spain knock Austria out 3-0. Friendly folks on both sides of the bar, good beer, and good food in a nice taproom. I'll be back.

With this brewery I got a beer type I don't always get and when I do it's a nice change of pace and that is a Brown Ale. I took the opportunity to get one here and the name of this brewery's version is a fun one... it's called Velvet Nunchuks. The flavor profile in this one is good... in it you can have fun with detecting caramel, roastiness and maltiness. The beer is smooth and has nice mouthful due to that. Whitestone was a good stop even if it is a bit of a ways from downtown Austin.
