I've been to Carl's Jr previously and thought it was a decent hamburger, however I went to the Cedar Park location and was highly disappointed with this business. The employee who took our order was texting on his phone as we were walking to the counter. He missed part of our order and messed up the rest of it. When we tried to give the messed up hamburgers back to have them corrected the staff was very rude and the person who took our order was trying to argue with us. When we finally got our order, the onion rings were burnt and tasted horrible. The hamburgers were decent but definitely not worth all of the hassle. read more

The food was typical Carl's Jr. The problem was the person working there tried to give me the wrong change from a $20. Count your change carefully when you go there. Instead of the $11 something I was given $2 something. I guess the person hoped I would think that one of the $1s was a $10. read more

Im a little disappointed with this place.. staff is usually pretty nice and the food is cheaper than mighty fine which is great but, however it's not polite to make bets on what a customer is going to order and then shout out that you won right in front of them. I understand that most the kids working here are high schoolers but I was slightly offended by this game they were playing. I eat here almost everyday but I may not come back for a while. read more

They've always treated me well and my wife and I really like their burgers. About a year ago though I went vegetarian and have not gone, just my wife got a carry out here and there. Now though they have their vegie burger that I tried today. To me it was good. I'll be going back there for sure. read more

It taste like Burger King to me but its a lot more expensive. The burgers (like BK) are decent, the fries aren't so good. I like that they have coke zero as a drink option. $7-8 for a medium combo. The best part about it is the drive thru line is nothing like the chic fi la next door. read more

Thank you! It's damn near impossible to find a burger joint with non-beef options. I love a six-dollar burger but the beef doesn't like me. I'm tired of the only other option being a fried chicken sandwich or "grilled" chicken on a bun. Luckily, Carl's Jr. Offers a turkey patty option. This is our "go to" place for fast food burgers but we about had a panic attack when we got there and WTH??? Where are the sweet potato fries??? It was the BEST thing on the menu and the main reason we choose Carls! Oh please please bring them back! read more

Everybody should be going here in the morning for the biscuits and gravy combo. it comes with a big mega biscuit a bunch of gravy and sausage chunks and a hash brown and a soda and it's all under $5. I crave the biscuits and gravy here and I eat here a lot I'm always satisfied the staff is friendly and it's located in a new shopping center conveniently in Leander area. the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they took away the big breakfast platter and it made me sad but this place does deserve 5-stars as soon as they bring back the big breakfast platter. read more

The manager, Sergio, messed up the order my walked in and placed and my son didn't realize until he got home that he was missing 2 of the 4 burgers ordered . Sergio admitted when I came back in with my son, that he placed the order incorrectly. He never gave my son a receipt and refused to fix the missed burgers because my son didn't have the receipt. The 2 burgers that we received were wrong as well. Sergio was rude and disrespectful to both my son and myself. When I asked for his manager, he pulled attitude and flicked his name badge and said that he is the manger. Then I asked for his owner and it took him more than 5 minutes to get the owner's phone number. I tried calling the stores multiple times before driving all of the way back there. I went here with my family and I was utterly impressed with the food. The staff was a little snooty, as a young girl was working the register. My mother had to ask 3 times how much the 10 piece chicken cost. We have been 3 times, and only one time has left us with mediocre food, but I think that time was due to it being jam-packed on a saturday. In other words, we think their grease was just getting cold and wasn't as fresh as usual, because all the other times we have ordered anything fried, it has been divine. Their fried zucchini is to die for, and their crinkle cut fries were fresh and perfectly salted last time I went. My niece especially loves their chili fries. I tried one and had to admit they were delicious. However, we were reading their nutrition information, and while it was incredibly convenient that they had that chart available, this burger joint is not my Go To restraunt for a diet, Come for above average food, a drive-thru, and a variety of selection in burgers. I'm not a Californian, but I'm sure if I was I would be eternally grateful to have one in the Austin area. read more

Finally made it over to Carls a few weeks ago, and was very happy! We got burgers for the whole family, everyone got a different style burger and we all enjoyed them very much. I'll admit, I'll eat any kind of burger, but truth be known, I'm actually very picky about what I consider an outstanding burger, and Carls has made my list. Ya see, my son-in-law makes the best burgers I've ever put in my mouth, so it's VERY hard to find any burger that compares with his. I grew up on Carl's Jr (I am from Orange County, California) and it was my first job. I love it and it was one of the things I really missed when I left three years ago for Texas. I was so excited to learn that they had built one relatively close to where I lived. We have gone back many times since they opened and have never had bad service or had our order wrong (and believe me, there was a lot of room for error with the way my husband orders!). My experience here was absolute trash and I'm so glad I got my food to go and even then there was no sense of urgency for my order. Walking up to the register I didn't even get a greeting just some young white man staring at me waiting for me to tell him my order. The only time he spoke was to tell me my total and that was it. Then I ordered before the few other people in the store and I managed to get my food last, 20 minutes after I ordered while the same young man and a young woman flirted. The food was great! The fries were delicious and hot too! Their criscut fries tastes like Arby's curly fries.... sooo good! If you've never had Arby's curly fries before it kinda tastes like a slight Cajun seasoning on the fries. The veggies in the burgers were super fresh too. read more

We went there yesterday and to our delight they now have fresh baked rolls and turkey burgers! Their fries are fresh cut and crispy. And real lettuce not the usual shredded stuff. They have really updated their menu and have delivered fresh food! Just had the worst ever Cod Fish Sandwich. The fish was just barely cooked, soggy and tasteless. The buns were overly saturated with a pretty nasty tarter sauce. I had to remove the fish from the wet buns. The lettuce was completely welted, and useless. Never again! read more

This is a hard one to write, because I actually like their food. But today's service was a slap in the face. So I know their bfast ends at 11am despite their competitors taking it to later hours and some even 24x7. That's fine. I was in the door about 5 min til 11am and was in line. So the cashier was either new or confused and didn't quite get through the order in front of me in that 5 mins so suddenly one of the food preps (young lady) started yelling "no more bfast" and when she saw me and a couple behind me at the counter she even went through the trouble of telling her "this one is the last breakfast order" and made sure all of us could hear it. I walked out and so did the couple behind me. They vowed never to return because they said the service at this location was very bad. I had never had a bad experience until today, but must say I probably won't go back. Went down to McD's and got my breakfast. Biscuits are not quite as good, but at least I got breakfast with a smile!! I'll give Carl's another chance, but based on what the couple told me probably not this location. read more
