Came here yesterday, Sunday for a quick lunch on our way to LA. We ordered a Western Bacon Cheeseburger meal, a Big Carl meal, a Big Carl sandwich, and a kids meal with chicken tenders. They charged us for 3 meals instead of 2 and overcharged us. We were in a hurry, but definitely poor customer service. The fries were terrible and got cold so quickly. This location is spotty . The food usually comes out hot and fresh so no complaints there . Sometimes they'll say at the drive thru they're closed for about 15 mins (what in the mom& pop spot is that about lol) and my biggest beef is Carl's in general is high compared I most fast food and not enough value items . I do like a few of the value items they do have like the spicy chicken which I add cheese and the double jalapeño cheeseburger. I have no idea how this location is still in business. It might be the worst fast food experience ever. We hadn't given them a shot in awhile (because of previously epically bad visits) and decided to see if things had improved since it was close by and my daughter wanted to try the Beyond Burger. When we walked in, no one was at the register. One worker was bagging drive thru orders and one was in the back putting the food together. No one greeted us. When the cashier bagging orders finally got all the drive orders out, she came to take our order, which came to $34 and change. She had already authorized my card and i was getting ready to sign when the girl in the back started yelling "we don't have no more chicken! Cancel it!" So the cashier yanked the pin pad away from me and started hitting cancel repeatedly, which did nothing. Then the girl from the back came up and also tried the same thing, but the charge had already gone through. She told me "we don't have no more chicken. There's one left and it's small like this" making a shape with her hands like it was abnormally small. She then said "I'll give you a refund." Followed by "let me check in the back if we have more chicken." She walked off, leaving me standing at the register. I finally noticed she had gone back to making food and she told me in an irritated manner "we'll call you when your food is ready" without ever telling me the resolution. The dining room was a mess with overflowing trash and "OUT" signs stuck to the ketchup and Dr. Pepper. How does a Carl's Jr run out of soda, ketchup and chicken??? It took about 15 minutes to get our order and when we got home, sure enough--she'd made my sandwich with the "small like this" chicken. (See pic.) This is a good place to get a quick bite to eat if you are busy, on the run, and not too picky about the little things.

Went thru the drive they right now, waited 7 minutes, no one said "one minute" or anything. So I said "hello?" She just said one second.... Another 7-8 minutes passed and we decided to just leave. Waiting 15 minutes in a drive thru to not even get your order taken is ridiculous. read more

A-OK. Have never had any issues with this Carl's Jr. Been coming to this location for years. My order has always been correct, parking aplenty, and good customer service. We do not eat many burgers but if I'm in the area and craving a burger, this is the place I would go to, especially if I have coupons. No one at the register, in line or even in the front lobby area, yet the cashier ignores me for several minutes before asking if I've been helped. $11 for a western bacon combo meal? 3 stars for the generally nice people working at the counter but 2 stars for the cleanliness and also the umm...quality of the food. Diamond Bar is generally a very nice area with clean establishments but I'm not sure what's going on at this little corner of town. Nothing is ever clean whether you come in during the day or night. Normally, I do not write when I'm annoyed, but today I am. I went to Carl's Jr. on Diamond Bar Blvd., for a quickie lunch at work. I wanted to order a $5 meal and replace the fries with onion rings, and the guy said they can't do that. Whatever, I get it company policy, blah blah blah. So i ordered the 3 piece hand breaded chicken meal with onion rings instead of fries. The guy in the drive thu said it was $11 and some odd change. I naturally thought, $11 noooo, he must have this wrong. That is waaayyyy to much for a 3 piece hand breaded chicken meal. I must add, I've ordered this meal many times in the past and it never came up to $11. So I pulled up to the window and explained, I think there is something wrong with my order there is no way a 3 piece breaded chicken meal with onion rings is $11. I would go to Chilies for that amount of money I would be spending on a meal from a low grade fast food restaurant. Another question I had in my own mind, how much would a 5 piece breaded chicken meal would costs? God only knows. They reviewed my order and said it was right. so I asked how much is the chicken alone, they said $6.00 plus some odd change. so, basically one onion rings and a small drink is going to be over $5?? Either the employees are stupid and can't figure out how to replace the fries for onion rings, which I've done a lot in the past at my own Carl's Jr for a small upgraded price, or they are trying to rip me off. Several times I've gone the staff is very friendly but please Managers, remind your staff to wear their masks above their nose!!! Also improve the ventilation in there for the poor employees working hard in there. Maybe it's too hot and that is why they pull down their masks. read more

I am so disappointed in the customer service I received tonight. I understand it's a fast food place but i firmly believe it takes zero effort to be courteous. Not all Carl's Jrs are equally comparable. This one has been such a disappointment to me over the years. What happened? They used to serve higher quality food. I've given this place many, many chances to redeem itself already, but my burger patties always taste dried out, old, and tasteless. The fries always come out dull and overcooked, and whenever I've ordered their charbroiled chicken burger, the chicken always turns out overly charred. I've ordered more than my fair share of different items on their menu and have been disappointed by every item time and time again. It seriously saddens me because they have the potential to serve better tasting and higher quality food, but they just fall short. The restaurant itself is also dirty, unkempt, and smelly. Food cooked fresh also there drive thrue is open to walk up customers due to the covid 19 they are 24/7. 7 days a week. they have zucchini, criscuts,jalapeño poppers and onion rings. Update: Filed a written complaint online as well as called corporate today. Told them my whole story along with a couple of the other stories on yelp. Ask them to please look into this location, they assured me that they will be getting a hold of the district managers to find out the problem. And will be looking into the yelp reviews.
