Arriving to Carl's Jr. As I normally am not a FF buff. The experience was great when talking to the attendant through the speaker. She suggested the Breakfast burger as I was famished. It has cheese, bacon, a burger, hashbrowns and a sauce. Not bad. Expensive but not bad. I paid almost $8 for just a sandwich. What has FF come to with food? The sandwich was good. I opted for a plain bun without the Sesame seeds. The restaurant was quiet as it was about 10 AM. Looked cleaned. Overall good service, food hit the spot and pleasant attended. The girl with glasses working up front really needs to be retrained and given more support. It looked like she was doing everything by herself, which slowed things down--my food took 20 minutes to come out. If the back staff isn't cooking, they should be helping at the front. Instead, they just stood around and did nothing to assist her. To make matters worse, she seemed unsure whether to prioritize the drive-thru or in-store orders, so my food just sat there while the back staff clearly knew it was ready but didn't bother to step in. And this was with only one car in the drive-thru. On top of that, I specifically asked her not to put her hands over my fries. She paused, ignored me, and continued until I raised my voice--only then did she acknowledge me. That's unacceptable and unsanitary. She went from handling the cash register, to the drive-thru window, to wiping her hands on her pants, and then directly over my food without gloves. Completely disgusting. Management needs to step in immediately--provide proper training, enforce food safety standards, and make sure employees handling food are wearing gloves. read more

This place also has something going on, and the crew here it's just lazy to me., (personal opinion) Not once, twice, but three times and you're out of here. Which I had my last straw pulled with this carls., the one on LOSEE RD. Highly recommended drive. This Carls on the other hand, the soda machine is always down and makes the drinks taste flat. The crew always has a problem with you coming 30-45mins before they close. Which of course they would never say it but their actions could tell you clearly. And my last straw with this place is coming to it and they are closed a whole hour before they say they are. I get off work at 10:00pm and only have late option if I don't feel like cooking., so when I look up a place a choose to drive all the way to them and they are closed already,. when they are supposed to be open it irritates the hell out a me. read more

Fast food franchises typically get a bad rap.... You know lousy customer service, dirty, wrong orders, etc etc. And quite frankly, I've bit the bullet and had my fair share of bad meals at one. In my book though, Carl's Jr typically is a step up from Mcd's or BK or Jitb.... I've always felt this particular one was on the up and up and had good service, decent burgers and was clean. Today was no exception, decided to drive over and pick some burgers in person and didn't do the third party deliveries or on line ordering. Got there I guess at the beginning of an early dinner hour. Only one customer inside and a couple cars at the drive through. The dining room was spotless... I hope that means they care about cleanliness. Also, the place probably doesn't get much foot traffic unless the park is busy. But anyway, Ananabel took my order and the young guy back in the kitchen started assembling my burgers. Got the order 100% correct with regard to leaving out some of the veggies on one burger. He seemed diligent and I even saw him wiping down the prep counter after he was done. I guess the only thing that could have made the burgers better would have been if they were cooked to order and we're hot and juicy rather than just warm... But still pretty good, I always forget to ask for a military discount , but as I recall, they don't offer one. Will I be back to this particular one, probably so...? The employees here were super cool and nice and looked like they were having fun as opposed to the last McDonald's I went to where you could tell half the workers hated there job and they treated me like im assuming based on that reason since I said or did nothing that warranted it other than currently being homeless. Carls Jr used to be worth the money but lately it's just been a waste! I'm spending $20+ dollars for 2 meals that are always dry and cold. The burger patty is so dry you can barely swallow it and there's hardly any sauce or toppings on the burgers. You end up paying for a dry, cold burger with a giant chunk of old lettuce and fries with nothing to dip them into bc when you ask for ketchup or any sauce they never put it in the bag. read more

First time I came here months ago, the lady working at the drive thru I'm assuming was high because she took approximately 5-10 minutes trying to take my order of two items, and then when she read it back she kept messing up, so I just left for the other location on Ann and Simmons. Second time (again, months ago) I was waiting at the drive thru forever, then this female employee exited from the back and made an announcement saying that there was an emergency and standby. At which point, I left because I had already been waiting for about 20-30 minutes. Then I just came by again right now, and as soon as I pulled up they said "I apologize but we won't be able to take any orders due to circumstances". On Sunday, May 16th at approximately 3:30pm, I drove through the drive-thru to order food. No one answered or greeted us at the box after we waited for about a minute or two. We then drove to the window only to find the place dark and empty. When we got out of the drive-thru we saw at least 2 employees hanging out in front of the store around the ages of 18-21. Upon making contact with the employee he told us the system was down. However, as we got closer to the employees and his friends we noticed the distinct smell of marijuana. We began to drive away and managed to take a photo of the employee. As we exited the parking lot to make a right and go to KFC establishment across the street the employee tapped the other employee and flipped us off as we drove off. This is unacceptable. read more

I've been coming here frequently recently and usually am greeted and very well taken care of by this blonde lady. She wasn't here yesterday unfortunately. The service without her was just awful! My food was cold my fries were tossed all around my bag and my god were the employees there just completely careless. The store was dirty. And I guess that lady picks up a lot of slack seeing as every time I come by and she isn't here I should just know it won't be a good visit. A few months ago - I was craving a Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger tonight and had sent my wife to get a few orders. The sign through the drive through said "Cash Only" so we were not prepared to not use plastic. The lights were dark and it may be a deterrent to future customers. If I could give this Carl's Jr. one star I would, they gave me luke warm cold fries and the burger looked a mess they loaded way to much lettuce on the burger, the bread was hard and they put like 10 pieces of onion on this little burger. This has been a solid Carl's since it opened. I'm not the biggest fan of Capriotti's but my wife is and it's right next door so we both can grab what we want for dinner and eat at the Aliante park across the street. The manager for this location I hope stays because he's awesome. Very friendly staff that makes me forget I'm at a fast food place and they always have treats for my dog Brownie. If your dog is with you just ask for a treat they have them even at the drive thru window. The famous star is a classic menu item and I miss the days when I was younger and they were like .99 cents. They still have different deals between the famous star, western bacon and big carl burgers so I usually end up getting whatever the promotion is. Food has been good and I can't complain about my order not being the way I ordered it because it has been correct. Not sure how long they will have Plants vs Zombies toys in the kids meals but given my wife has been addicted to the game for years I found it comical and fun. read more

Typical fast food I ordered the chicken tenders 3 piece a California burger no tomatoes, a double western burger meal and a Oreo milkshake. The 3 piece was actually very good tenders had a crunchy outside moist inside but they were out of the hot honey sauce it comes with. The California Burger could've been better it tastes like a regular burger I didn't really get anything special from the sauce. The milkshake didn't have much of an Oreo taste more like vanilla with some Oreo shavings in it and the western burger was not for me so I can't really comment on the taste or make, but the fries were alright. Again it's fast food so you get what you pay for I guess. read more

Carl's Jr. is like every other California fast food export. The closer you get to the coast, the better it is. In Texas, the locations are poorly managed and often go out of business. In Vegas, they provide good food and good service, although at a slightly higher than average fast food price point. All you need to order is the Double Western Cheeseburger. Two patties of beef, cheese, plenty of BBQ sauce, bacon, and two onion rings. It's one of the better fast food options. It's only a shame that they can't translate this to their Texas locations. read more

This is a new location, and I will probably try it again, but I was not happy today. I wanted a 20 piece chicken nugget for the kids. What I got & paid for was 20 chicken tenders, which was significantly more expensive than I expected. It was also a lot more food than I needed. I also ordered two western bacon cheeseburgers for the wife and I. The drive thru attendant put all of the food in one big paper bag. It was so full it ripped while I was placing it on the passenger seat, spilling two medium orders of fries all over the floor of my vehicle. I included a picture of the ripped bag. This could have been avoided had he attendant just given me the bag of fries separately from the large bag of food. I should have gone in to the location and voiced my displeasure, but I was unable to at the time. I ordered medium drinks, but received large drinks because they had run out of medium cups. Plus I guess, right? Not so much. I had to stop short on the way home and both large drinks fell out of my cup holders and one spilled all over the floor of my vehicle. The lid remained on the second, but it was quite a mess. This isn't really the restaurants fault, but it added to my frustration. All the wife wanted was a lemonade and some French fries. Both items spilled all over the floor of my vehicle. The food that made it home intact was great, and I will try this location again, but it did leave much to be desired. read more
