I was on the phone with my daughter when the person came to the window to collect her payment. My daughter proceeded to ask for some big Carl sauce, which the lady said would be extra, my daughter asked how big was the packet b/c she may want more than one. The lady ignored her, walked away and closed the window. My daughter stated she wanted a refund due to poor service. The cashier said no and proceeded to throw the bag of food at my daughter. My child parks her car and goes in to collect the refund and the lady still says she cannot have one, threatens to call the police to Say she is trespassing. My daughter called the police herself and was told they do not intervene in these matters. She was advised to contact corporate. In order for the situation not the escalate, my daughter left the store without food and without a refund. There was no manager on duty to rectify this situation. Not only does my child need an apology for how rudely she was treated, she needs a refund of the money that was stolen from her for the food she did not receive! It's terribly sad that this person working at Carls Jr allowed her bad day today be taken out on someone else who was just trying to grab dinner. My boyfriend went in because he loves their chicken strips, he asked to use the facilities because he not only needed to relieve himself, but also to wash his hands before eating. He was denied and told he needed to order first. He assured them that he was going to order but really needed to use the facilities again he was denied. He showed them his money and they didn't seem to care. We stopped at the drive thru to grab lunch and instead of a human asking for your order, it was an AI voice. It was frustrating as I had to repeat my order multiple times as it didn't understand me. My husband was driving and just grabbed the order and continued driving home, not giving me enough time to check my bag. The order was the wrong kind of burger with bacon and guacamole on it, which was inedible for me. The fries were missing, too. The Carl's Jr. near our other home uses AI at the drive thru but it never makes a mistake. I'm assuming this Carl's Jr. will eventually work out the bugs. read more

No stars if I could, based on customer service they are so rude, I specifically always get a man with a beard, never greeted inside never have got a 'ok what else can I get for you' always silence. THIS is Thee BEST Carl's Jr. in San Bernardino AND the Inland Empire! The staff is respectful, friendly, & professional. The food is ALWAYS fresh and made to order. Their food not only looks like the tv commercials and pictures!! But the food is also amazingly tasty!!! It's funny how all of the Carl's can have the exact same ingredients and have the same menu, but it's just not the same quality. This goes to show, pride in one's work goes a long long way! These guys always have a pretty good attitude, which is why I am giving them 2 stars. The issue is that they are constantly low on supplies so usually only have a few things on the menu. Last time I got a western bacon but they neglected to tell me they were out of onion rings so I didn't know until I ate that very sub par western. I would generally avoid this place but would actually take it over the near by jack in the box as that place is somehow worse. IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A PEACE OF SHIT COME HERE! I had one of the worst service experiences today at this location of Carl's Jr. From the second we walked in, the staff were incredibly rude. They treated people horribly, and it was clear they didn't care about anything. The reason for this awful experience is probably the incredibly low hourly pay, but honestly if you hate your job that much just don't work at all. The worst part was when I asked an employee for the restroom code for my grandma, who has cancer and a UTI. My grandma was in urgent need to use the restroom, and instead of showing any empathy or understanding, the employee answered with the worst attitude possible. Not only that but she refused to give my ill grandma the restroom code, stating it's only for customers. I get that they have rules to prevent homeless people from using the restrooms, but this was a completely different situation. My grandma was in dire need, and they didn't care at all. This is completely unacceptable. I'll never be coming back to this location, and I'll make sure to share my experience with others so they don't have to deal with this disrespectful, heartless treatment! read more

I would improve Customer Service. They were short on supplies like Coca Cola and Zucchini. They wouldn't let me use their restroom unless you order items from the menu. We live just over a mile from the 40th Street Carl's so, I wish it was good. It's not. In the past six times we went there, we went thru the drive-thru and, every time, we were asked to pull around, park and wait for them to bring our food. Four of six times, the order was wrong. Twice they brought Diet Coke instead of iced tea. One would expect hot food if it's necessary to park and wait. Nope. We have stopped going there. read more
