This get zero star because I just did a postmate order and they didn't even find anyone to bring my food and I order around 9pm and I've been waiting still they are shouldn't even be open if they keep being disrespectful I called and they just answer the phone and no one is answer there all talking and no one is responding like come on I've been waiting all day to order food. read more

I went here to have breakfast this morning. I just wanted to wash my hands first. The manager would not give me the code to the restroom. She said the RESTROOM was way to DIRTY to use. So, I left. If they can't keep the restroom clean why would I want to eat there. I think she was LYING. She (the manager) just did not want me to use the restroom. Nice customer service. Second time I order a Beyond Burger, as soon as I get home I find a famous star burger.

I'll start by saying I don't eat fast food very often but I really had a craving for a chicken sandwich. The customer service here is awful, and they are extremely slow. However, it's the only Carl's Jr. that I've been to that makes things fresh ( again, I've only been to a couple) At least it tasted that way. Very good Spicy chicken sandwich. I'll add more once I get a little more experience. Hopefully they spruce up the staff a bit. read more

As a full-fledged germaphobe, I was disgusted in the restroom maintenance. There was paper all over the restroom, no soap in the dispenser and the toilets were filled with dump! That's so disgusting. Also, the new Beyond Famous Star was a huge let down too. It tasted terrible. read more

Where's the Beyond? I went to the Sun Valley location this afternoon, ordered a BeyondBurger, no cheese, no mayo, extra pickles and some guacamole. I returned to work and sat to eat 15 minutes later and found the Beyond was beyond what I received which was basically a guacamole sandwich. This is how my experience was; Cashier: hello how can I help you? My wife: can I get the Western bacon cheeseburger without a Patty, put the patty on the side please. Cashier: ( then he clicks some stuff on his screen, lots of clicking) Me: can I please get the steakhouse burger. Cashier: Will that complete your order? Me: yes ( he gives me my total and i pay) We sit down.... We get a tray with two Fries, one burger, Western bacon cheeseburger with a sticker that says special, ......my burger is nowhere to be found. ( remember how my wife said no Patty)My wife opens the wrapper,and shows me her burger with two patties!!! She goes to return it, then comes to sit down. Minutes later she gets another Western bacon cheeseburger with a sticker saying special on it. The person delivering it apologizes and places the burger on the table along with the patty on the side.I asked them where is my burger? They reply " they are making it it's taking longer than usual". (While he told me that, are he had on order with the steakhouse burger for someone that ordered after me) lol My wife opens her burger and guess what, there is a patty still in the burger. So now I get up and go get her a Western bacon cheeseburger without a patty. And they guys handed me my steakhouse burger. This was my first time at this Carl's Jr and let me tell you, I'll never come back here again. So I ordered two combos at their drive thru and when I got to the window the lady didn't even greet me she just went straight the amount. When she gave me my food I asked her if I could have 2 extra ranch, she said no. She stated that "I already gave you". I wouldn't be so upset over something like this but come on have better customer service skills, at least say I'm sorry we aren't allowed too give more than two. read more

Had a wild hair to have Carl's this AM....to my surprise.. customer service IS HORRIBLE. I thought this was a 24/7 location??!!! Renovated however the drive thru cashier IS TERRIBLE. Lights on, people inside but had to go around to the window because no one acknowledged me when I pulled to the speaker. I was on a time crunch so I was extremely unhappy to find the cashier just talking with a friend at the window!! AT LEAST ACKNOWLEDGE the person at the speaker. Nope. I had to go to work so I drove around again to make sure they were open and they were. I asked if they were open, she said yes and she was extremely rude. She also said my food would take 10 minutes!!!! What?! This place is 24/7 and they SHOULD KNOW the breakfast crowd comes in at this time! I was so angry, I didn't buy anything and left. The food isn't bad. It's on par with the other Carl's Jr. locations. The staff is competent, and friendly enough, but the facility is a mess. This is clearly a store that the corporate management and the franchise owner care very little about. The upholstered booths are cut and patched with duct tape, and graffiti covers some of the tables and the restrooms. The paint in the dining room is worn down to the wood. The gum and graffiti on the sidewalk have been there for over a year. I wrote the manager 20 months ago. The General Manager called me and said a renovation was coming in June 2011. As of May 2012, nothing has improved. My last letter to their corporate CEO was ignored. You won't find a store maintained like this in Porter Ranch or Encino. If you live in a poor and predominantly minority neighborhood, they just don't seem to care. read more

This location is horrible. Ordered a charbroiled chicken salad from thr drive thru. Got home and found they gave me what looks to be reused chicken, no cucumbers, and in a container half the size it normally is. Looks like someone made it up as they went when packing it, and picked from the chicken while doing so. And of course I only realized I was not given a receipt until after I got home. When I think of this place or Canyon Plaza itself, it takes me back to minimum days/shortened days of middle school. Other than that, this place is not really kept. On top of that, they're slow and pretty rude. I've had a few instances already where I've waited longer than I should have because they forgot to place my order and then they give me attitude because I tell them.. I still come here, though, because I do crave Carl's Jr.'s food or Green Burrito's gringo Mexican food on occasion. read more

Recently remodeled. It looks a lot better than before. No more carpet or ripped up seats. Got me a Double 6 dollar cheese burger! And ate that baby with 1 Oreo cookie shake and then I had 2 more shakes (strawberry and Oreo) because 1 shake wasn't enough! I love those shakes. So I ate 1 double 6 dollar burger, 2 orders of fries and 3 shakes. I put the cashier through so many scenarios but he took the time to understand my order and didn't give me any attitude. :) read more

This place has TERRIBLE management. My wallet was stolen and the thief used my credit card at this location. When I called an employee remembered seeing the guy using my card but when she handed the phone to the manager she was INCREDIBLY RUDE and unhelpful and would not show security footage to help thief be caught. I give this Carl's Jr. 5 stars, because of the window service I've received the past 6 or 7 times. I believe the guys name is Eduardo the Shift Lead (I believe). He served me at 4:45pm today (10.13.17). I'm honest when I say, out of all the fast food places that dwell on the cross sections of Laurel Canyon and Roscoe, the best window service I've gotten is from this guy. Both in the afternoon and night shift. He's always polite, patient, enunciates clearly and makes sure you get what you ask for! I know that fast food is the choice of jobs and most people don't want to be there, but I always believe in making the best of your current situation and do your best no matter what you do. This guys got the right idea, people like him should be hired more often. And the food is always consistent, BOMB! read more

I like this location. I've been visiting this restaurant since I was a teenager over at poly. It's been remodeled recently and looks great. I always use the drive thru which is always fast even though there are several cars in line. The only issues I've had is missing food items from time to time. For example once they forgot to include a spicy chicken sandwich I ordered and I found out when I was at home. A different time they forgot to include a small fries. I've solved this dilemma by simply checking the bag thoroughly before I drive off. read more

Honestly I've been here multiple times now since it's right next to my work and an lack of options leads me to go here sometimes. Every time I go here the fries without fail are cold. I once asked them politely to make my crisscut fires fresh and they literally threw the fries that have been sitting under the heat lamp back into the fryer. I then got fries fryed into oblivion with the most nasty hard/rubbery crunchy texture and almost all fat. Then a couple months later I got some coupons in the mail at my work. They got me lured in with 2 dollars off some crisscut fries. Anyways I order a western bacon and they told me I couldn't use the coupon on the fries if it's in a combo. I was like ok so I got my food separately thinking it would still be cheaper. So I get my food and the fries were cold and grainy. The ranch was going bad, warm and sour . And now I have a stomach ache from the meal. This place is a disgrace. Don't go here since the guy laughed at me telling me I ended up paying more after charging my card. My boyfriend and I went there this afternoon, usually we get pretty good service. Today however that did not happen. The girl that was taking our order was giving us her attention today and about half way through our order another staff member some kind of management walked up and interrupted us, talking to the employee, and ignoring the fact that she was in the middle of an order , ( Which by the way she got absolutely correct , with the rude interruption). We paid for our order and walked away , and got our drink and our table. I am very ill and cannot eat a whole burger by myself and as it was hot outside my boyfriend and I decided to split a Burger because they are huge and very filling. When we ordered it was right on the ticket that we wanted the burger wrapped in lettuce and then Cut in half. The food came and it was wrapped in lettuce but not cut in half. So I took it back to the counter and the person who interrupted the order taker waited on me. She was very rude and told me we do not have to cut your burger in half. We could have someone come to your table with a knife. What I wanted to tell her was I ordered and paid for this meal and I would like it if it just came the way I ordered it. I was completely shocked by her rudeness, and I left the counter with the burger just the way it came. Here is my advice to her now. I come to your restaurant quite frequently or rather make that I did and so do my housemates and my friends , but that is going to change. I can go up around laurel the other way or over on Roscoe and get a person that treats me properly . Here is my other suggestion . Clean up your nasty restrooms and dining room. The restrooms are usually completely disgusting. Trash on the floors and a dirty toilet. Please know I am calling your corporate office tomorrow and letting them know how we were treated by this woman. I am a good person though, and I will also tell them that the young lady the took the order originally did her job well even though this shift manager was rude and interrupted her.
