Two smashed beef patties, cheese, grilled onions, house sauce, pickles and the rest of the toppings loaded onto a soft bun. The first thing I noticed were those crispy edges on the patties. They were perfect! The beef was smashed super thin on the grill and those edges came out dark, crispy and full of flavor while the middle still had plenty of juiciness. The melted cheese and grilled onions were great with it, and the pickles and house sauce added even more flavor. The bun was soft and lightly toasted, which was perfect with those crispy patties. There are plenty of Smashburger places around here, but this one definitely stood out to me. Between the burger, the atmosphere, the staff and meeting the owner, I had a great first experience. For some reason I decided to eat something unhealthy for a change Lately I've been really watching what I eat but thought to my self what the heck let's have a burger I haven't been to a Carl's jr for well over 2 years I pull up to that drive and find combos that cost $12 , are you serious $12 for fast food drive through burger lol. I rather make a 10 mile drive and go five guys. I figured heck I was already there so I ordered my thick 1/2 ibs burger and paid $12. I got home and ate the tasteless burger becauSe I wasn't going to go back out at 11 to pick up something else. I really enjoy their famous stars with cheese and also their Western Double Bacon Cheeseburger. When I was younger I didn't like the burgers from here because I always thought of them as burnt. Well now I know what charbroiled means and I can't get enough of these burgers. I now suggest to everyone to give this place a try. The staff is pretty decent here as well. read more
