I have not been to a Carls in probably a year. I came here because I was craving a chicken sandwich and any other place I could think of was $15-18 dollars. I thought I could get away with less here. Not so much. It ended up being $14 and then later added a milkshake for another $6. Staffing shortage. We had to wait a bit at the counter. One girl taking orders and drive thru with two people cooking. I saw nobody in the dining room. They need a different order taker. I said chicken sandwich, add onions. She says, "chicken sandwich and french fries?" Um no not sure where fries came into that mix? but I think that is all she knew was a script. The poor drive thru customers had to yell at her a few times to get their order right also because you can hear it throughout the restaurant. It was kind of painful actually. Anyway, we got it to-go and took it back it work. Everythingwas seriously cold and the chicken was like rubber that everything just slid off it. It was the most disatisfying meal I have had in a very long time and still irrited that I spent $20 there. I should have bit the bullet and went to Buckhorn Grill for a few bucks more. I like this location, no matter how many (or little) stars it has. I like it because the drive- thru is always fast and friendly. They don't throw your food together so it looks like slop. Nope! They make the burgers fresh and presentable. Another plus is that they offer you sauce - at no additional price. It's ok to ask for BBQ sauce or ranch or whatever even if you didn't order a specific product. Their fries are also always very fresh, hot, and perfectly salted. read more

Came here for lunch today. I always bring my lunch so going out is such a treat for me. I ordered a Big Carl burger and Criss cut french fries from the drive up window. They make me wait in the parking spot. They bring it to me and the fries were cold so i got out and went in to tell them. The lady tells me ohhhh... they're not cold. I told her I would like just the regular fries because I didn't want them just to warm them. I went through the drive thru because my boyfriend wanted his favorite breakfast for his birthday. He loves the number 4 which is a double western cheeseburger with a medium combo and cherry coke as his soda. I had never came here for breakfast so I wasn't sure what to order. The lady was super patient with me and gave me her opinion. I ordered the bacon, cheese, and egg biscuit with a large hash browns since it says it is made from scratch? I thought the hash brown would be one large hash brown but it's actually mini hash browns which were super cute. I wish the biscuit had more of a buttery taste but the bacon, cheese, and egg was cooked thoroughly. I also ordered a vanilla iced coffee and it was so good. I normally don't like coffee but I quite enjoyed it. My cousin ordered a coffee and they forgot to give it to me. I had to get out of my car and wave them down to get it from outside since the dining room was closed. A guy answered the door and he was super friendly and even gave me sugar and cream without me asking for it. I don't blame them for forgetting it because I last minute added extra items when I was paying for my order because my cousin wanted something. Sorry about that! The customer service was great at the window- no complaints- very friendly. Here's where the problem comes in- came for just a milk shake- Carl's Jr. is known for thick good shakes...right?! Not the case here. Received a runny shake- too much milk and they didn't have any whip cream.
