Great service! Would have given the workers a tip if they were an actual sit down restaurant

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I wish I had listened to my instincts! I was driving from southern Cali to northern Cali and I was tired and starving so I decided to get a burger after getting some gas and when I ordered my burger then fries and when I asked for no salt on my fries the guy who took my order paused and seemed annoyed that I asked for fries with no salt. I knew right then I should have changed my mind. My daughter doesn't like to eat salty things and that's all she wanted to eat was fries. Well when I pulled up to pay the workers had no personality or friendliness to them. I gave them the benefit of doubt and took a bite of my burger while I was on the freeway like we most do when we travel far distances and instantly I SPIT IT OUT!!! It was cold and tasted so gross and old! I was so angry!!! And it's not like I'm going to turn back and go the opposite direction to get my money back. THIS IS NOT OK! And when I get home to unpack I realized that I wasn't given a receipt so it's going to be hard to file a complaint against them. I'll be calling corporate on this business! I can't believe that they would serve garbage like that to people who are traveling! They take advantage of tired traveling people! I wish I could give them zero stars! IM SO TIRED of crappy people working in the food industry! This is why business go out of business because of crappy service like this! If you do not like customer service then don't work in it! You have no idea what people can have and can't have, so people should feel comfortable making adjustments to their meals! I'm glad that I don't eat much fast food! I only eat it when traveling for it's convenience! I think I'll start packing my road snacks instead of relying on convenience of road side fast food! I guess this is better for me too! But it shouldn't be this way! We should still be able to splurge on a little junk food once in a while. read more

This Carl's Jr. is also a green burrito. I ordered the burrito especial w/ guacamole and choice of chicken or steak (I ordered steak). It was pretty good for a fast food burrito. I also ordered sweet potato fries to make it a combo. They were good for fast food sweet potato fries. The workers at the drive through window were smiling and friendly. There is convenient access on and off the I-5 Freeway and there are a number of gas stations with affordable gas at this exit making it a good pit stop on long road trips. read more

Quick, friendly service. Convenient location, next door gas stations. Your regular menu, Famous star with cheese is my staple here, costs around $3.25. Staff member took the time to help me out with my to-go bags, very nice & asked how my day was going. Inside eating area looked pretty clean for a high traffic fast food place. Bathrooms were a little rough though, we changed the kiddo in the car. read more

First off I am a regular of Carl's Jr. in Manteca. I have lunch there 2-3-4 times a week. But this location in westley is horrible. I have gone many times over the last year. I get a bad meal and don't return for weeks. I forget and then go again. Westley Carl's Jr. has indifferent staff. Their burgers are always, I mean always cold. Frys usually are also cold and soggy from being stuffed into a one item bag with two items, my cold burger and cold frys. As if that was not bad enough. They always use the white center of iceburg lettuce to make the burger and today to top it all off the bun was stale, in addition to a burger cold, frys jammed into a small bag. Breakfast is just as bad with a surly latina that will cough on your food while she has the flu as if cold food was not enough of an insult. read more

abysmal service here, we stopped here at night and the lady at the register was on the phone which wasn't the issue, but after about 5 mins of standing there like buffoons waiting for this lady to end her call and take our order she finally ends her call, turns around to the only other worker behind the register, and tells them to turn the grill on (why would the grill even be off hours before they close?), then walks away from the register without even batting an eye towards us. we just left, what a waste of time. and to any travelers looking for a meal on I-5, just stop at the mcdonald's instead. read more

I just ordered a soda there and there was no problems but I also used the bathroom. Worst clean bathroom I've ever been to. It was clean but the damn water flow wasn't strong and neither was the hand dryer. Plus, with no paper towels, what am I supposed to open the door with? There's a sign for ppl to yelp their experience when you walk in. I should have looked at the yelp reviews because I could have saved $25 first of all the place was empty and staff was doing side jobs during the 5pm hour. That area is a huge pit stop so that should have gotten my flags waving. No business during early evening means something sucks here. I think corporate needs to give them adequate hours to schedule ppl solely to clean since it obviously shows they dont deep clean. I should have bought tamales out of the mini van on the street! Was gonna, but I wanted tenders. The fries were really old and sat there with flies buzzing while they cooked the tenders to order. Wtf? How about cooking fresh fries manger douche for your only customers? One employee wasncleaning a gross garbage by the register and The garbages on the west side were over flowing the tea tasted really bad bc of the bad water. The guy putting stuff in bags kept touching garbage stuff then putting food in the bag. The bag had 2 famous stars, western, 5 piece tenders and a med and leg fries...ALL IN ONE SMALL BAG. To say the food was a mess is putting it lightly. We were in a rush to get back on the road otherwise we would have asked for a refund. The manager was doing office paperwork and the staff seemed nice but really lazy. I dont think they should put a yelp your experience on the wall...the manager on shift seemed like a dick because he was fiddling on his phone more than his office work. So gross! Talk about unsanitary! I had to damn near swat away the flies with one hand and pile my food in with the other as fast as I could. I felt like the flies were going to eat the food if I didn't eat fast enough. Haha this place takes the cake! Just Sayin! read more

There was nothing better to eat in the are and we were headed back to LA. So we stopped here. I'm very, very, very picky and when we ate here the service was great. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms are very old but they were clean. They now have a new Papaya, Peach and Green Ice Tea and it was delicious. Keep in mind reviewers your not reviewing a 5 star restaurant. Lol read more

It would never occur to me to yelp a fast food restaurant, but since there was a big sign on the wall next to the counter proclaiming, "Yelp Us!" I figured, "Sure!" We stopped here on our drive from SF to LA. We were waiting in line when we notice that there are LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF FLIES on the ceiling. Right above the counter. And along the wall. And back through the kitchen. Like, a huge a@@ freaking colony of flies. So many that you would think it was mold or strangely dark water spots covering the ceiling. But no, they are hundreds of flies. I have actually never seen so many flies in one place outside of a barn at the county fair. So gross. We of course immediately GTFO, holding back gags, and are now suddenly no longer hungry. read more

Carl's Jr. is my favorite fast food restaurant. The food here is up to par with any other CJ's I've eaten at. And, as a truck driver, I've had the opportunity to eat at a few. My only complaint is I can never connect to the wifi with any of my three devices here. I have no problems anywhere else but this restaurant always gives me trouble. read more

This is by far the worst Carl's Jr I have ever been in. The store was very dirty with at least 20 flies buzzing around the dining are and inside the restrooms. The ladies room was also dirty and lacked both toilet paper and seat covers. read more

Food was decent, ordered a breakfast burger around 6am and was hot and fresh. Customer service couldve been a bit on the quicker side took 10 minutes just to get food. Other than that it wasnt bad. read more

My husband and I went through this drive through on our way to Pismo. I ordered the Chicken club and it was terrible! They didn't put the lettuce on it, they put tons of mayo and the bun tore in half while trying to eat it. I ordered Zucchini and they are expensive, so I expected a full box of them, but got 1/3 of a box. We won't go back. read more

This place will rip you off that no other! This will be the second time in 2 years I've been to this hole, and they tried to overcharge me. I ordered from William, the single burger rib combo. $9.99 on the menu - William charges me $14.01. Explains that the extra $2.03 was for the drink - doesn't drink come with combo - yes, but it's charged separately. Forget combo, just burger. $6.49 on menu, he charges me $10.67. And then HE gets the attitude when I question him about it? Don't worry about telling management, the DM doesn't do anything about it anyway. Its always been this way with this pit. No thanks. Chose Carl's over mc d's for a change when heading south on 5. Sat for 5+ min at speaker waiting to order. We listened to 2 employees discussing the previous drive thru order. We kept saying hello with no response. After another few min we drove up to window as there were no other cars waiting. Hollered, honked at that window for another few mins. Finally left and went to mc d's. IMMEDIATE response at drive thru. The owner of that Carl's needs to refresh his employees on customer service. FYI. Went once and used the drive thru which was fine. They take the term "six dollar burger" pretty seriously there. This had to be the most expensive Carl's Jr. I have been too. Two six dollar burger meals with two additional shakes for over $27.00. The meals were each over $10.00. Crazy. The food was good. read more

This is one of the worst Carl's jr's I have eaten at. The cashier was rude and my husband asked to use his veterans discount. She told him it doesn't work with a combo meal, which she didn't even try to do and right next to us was a sign for active military and veteran discount, hmmm denying a veteran his doscount is unethical! When I walked in, there were 4 groups in line and nobody at the register. There were flies everywhere and a seemingly indifferent staff. They do not participate in national promotions such as the $5 Big Carl Combo. All in all, it wasn't a good experience. read more
