I have heard about this place and have been looking forward to a romantic date night with my husband here for years. Finally we had our chance this past week. I ordered the caesar with my filet and crab cakes as an app. The salad came and honestly it looked like the scraps from all the other salads. Mostly the base stems of the romaine and was so overly dressed I passed on it about 1/3 of the way through. Our crab cakes came mid salad which made the table kind of crowded. They come as a group of four silver dollar sized cakes edging a heaping pile of garlic spinach, which I felt was unnecessary. The steak came with it's sides on a separate plate and were not even mentioned in the menu. The steak was cooked properly, however the sides were completely unseasoned. The steamed (almost soggy) broccoli came with no salt or seasoning and along side was some type of mashed potato that was extremely bland. The server was smoking her vape pen each time she brought our dishes back into the kitchen which I find just foul. The person I would assume is the manager (was wearing a suit and some "fancy" sneakers) was wandering the place drinking a bottle of beer!? All in all we were pushed out from start to finish in 40 minutes. 10/10 would never recommend or return. Even the sunset scene can't make up for the horrid experience we had there. I've always wanted to try this restaurant so decided for my 60th birthday I would give it a go. We made a reservation on open table - there was some confusion when we arrived in locating the reservation and I did mention on the app we were celebrating a birthday. Not sure how that's communicated to the restaurant but it went unnoticed. We were seated immediately after our reservation was eventually located. I don't recall our waiter's name but he was very attentive and personable. We started with the antipasto and calamari appetizer. Both were good and we split among four people. For dinner we had the lamb chops, NY strip, chicken franchise and chicken parm. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I always order chicken parm - didn't this time, but had a taste and the sauce was delicious. We used a yelp 20 percent off coupon which negated the half off wine deal. We met friends who we haven't seen in a few years. We sat outside and it was picture perfect! The food was outstanding! What made this a 3 star day was the rude waiter. He kept pushing us to order even when we explained we hadn't seen each other in some time and were sorry we hadn't looked at the menu. We ordered. The waiter never came back to refill our drinks! Never ever! One drink each was all we got! We had hoped to stay and chat but were pushed out. It was uncomfortable. I have never not been offered a refill at a restaurant! I know it's hard to find help but for the price we should have been treated better. If you want a relaxing afternoon, this may not be the place. Shame. Such good food. read more

Ugh! Went there with a group. 10 of us. Asked for a special table and were seated at what felt like a table for 8. The wait staff was great. Very friendly and nice. But the food was awful. I visited Carlucci's for a baby shower last year for the first time despite living only about 10 minutes away my whole life. Each course served was shockingly really good. We all left the baby shower exclaiming how good the food was. So last night, we decided to order take out and I didn't have any expectations but was a little uncertain that the food would be good the second time...Surprise, it was so good. I ordered the Capellini Napoli which was Angel hair pasta with a red sauce and lump crab meat. The entree came with a choice of salad or soup and bread. I choose a Caesar salad. There was a good amount of sauce and a perfect ratio of crab meat, which if I had to complain, I'd say that there were a few shells left on the crab but other than that, a really enjoyable meal. If you are looking for a nice evening filled with great service, fabulous food and a relaxing atmosphere then Carluccis is the perfect place. We were greeted by the lovely hostess who seated us near the window. If we wanted to relocate outside she assured me it was not a problem. Our friends preferred the inside seating. Paul our server was attentive and professional. He allowed just enough time between courses and made sure our glasses were filled. Do try the antipasto which is delicious. I opted for the pasta e fagioli soup. Very flavorful. Then I had the Almalfi Shrimp which is a fabulous combination of shrimp, crab and salmon. Stumbled on this place while visiting my moms house. From the outside you wouldn't know it was a restaurant. Literally found it on yelp and when checking for places to eat in the area. It was Sunday so it was a much older crowd, pretty quiet inside, but really dark in the dining area. Not sure what that was about but there was a young woman walking around lighting the candle while people were eating. That probably should have been done before people were seated. The food was good. Prices weren't too bad for the amount of food we ordered. There was a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff. Overall not too bad. read more

I was super unimpressed with this location. I frequent their Yardley location and this place didn't fit the bill. When we sat down the waitress told us we were getting bruschetta. The waitress actually brought us french bread. Then, there was no place settings at our table. The iced tea was horrible. I literally couldn't drink it and had to send it back. The prices were at least $10-$15 higher than at their other locations and they did not offer half the items. The fig salad however was great!!!! The seafood bisque had no flavor and tasted like a bowl of cream. Adding pepper into it didn't help. Lastly, the chicken Parmesan was just fair. The tomato sauce over powered the dish, but it was good. I was also disappointed to find out that their mixed vegetables were just broccoli and not the same as their other locations. The first thing that caught my attention was the calm and relaxing views. There we re even random fireworks from across the way. The food is slightly on the pricier side but the portions were huge and tasty. The selection is mostly seafood and homey Italian fare. Loved the drink menu and would try everything. I've been to this restaurant twice. Once for a special occasion and once for a couples night out. Location and ambiance are excellent. Unfortunately the kitchen just doesn't rise to the level of expectations set by the pricing and setting. Whomever is putting the menu together and working on the flavor profiles isn't particularly good at their job. If there's an executive chef, they're at the Houlihans level. This could be a Stephen Starr level restaurant experience. They're oh so close. But until they step up their game in the kitchen, I'd recommend paying the same money for a better gastro experience elsewhere. read more

I made my own entree. It was as much as any other entree in the menu. The waiter says I can't take off the 20% because it's not 2 entrees.
