Amazing customer service with Ashely and Eric. 1000/10 They both have so much patience and are very understanding of everyone's needs. Ashely personally stayed late behind and helped with the process. I'm vexing thankful for their help and can't thank them enough. Whatever you need please come see Ashely and Eric. They won't let you leave unsatisfied. Again 10/1000

Gives good conditions on the car, I recommend, come, trailer, hand over everything very well, good staff

Bido was AWESOME! This is my second car from them and between my sales man Bido and Kenny in the business office I'll be back if I ever need another car. 10/10 recommend. Customer service was great. Friendly. Not trying to over sale. Just very down to earth! Thank you both!

Was very impressed with the CarMax system. Picked a car up yesterday to replace a car totaled in an accident. Worked with Charity, she was awesome. I would go there for my next car

Barely had the car for 3 months (driven 3k miles). Also looks to have some rodent droppings.

I went here to purchase a 2018 Toyota Highlander Hybrid on April 2024. Test drove the car and was given a few minutes to do so. During the test drive, I noted a few things for them to check on such as tire tread, some scratches that should be buffed etc. I was told that before they sell a vehicle, they check everything to make sure its all good for the new buyers. Fast forward to end of July 2024, barely drove the car 3k miles since this is only a weekend car. Normally, I check and change my own engine air filter and cabin air filters quarterly. So upon checking, I found a very old and dirty cabin air filter. With what looks like rodent droppings as well. I was furious and concerned that they did not check everything that they said they did. So I called Carmax Puyallup 8/2 @3:20pm, spoke to Trish, shared my concern. Said she was going to transfer me to a manager, during the transfer the call ended. I called again and spoke to a different service agent and they told me to be rest assured that the manager has my info and will call me back. I asked if I can have the manager's name and they were hesistant to give me the name and told me to just wait. It's now 8/7 and I have not received a call.

This was the offers the gave us. HORRIBLE. Never stepping foot into a carmax again.

If I could advise people on NOT coming here I would. Our engine blew yesterday and we needed to buy a car and I had heard ads about Carnax and was pre-approved before we went in. The first red flag was a sales manager coming up to us mid-way through closing our deal saying we needed to say what we made hourly instead of what the bi-weekly check amounts were. I didn't want to do that we already finished the application. Then he has us PUT THE CAR WE HAVENT EVEN BOUGHT YET ON MY INSURANCE PLAN!! BEFORE THE DEAL IS EVEN DONE. Then the sales manager calls over our sales agent and he comes back bright red and basically tells us that our proof of income isn't enough and that needs our bank statement now. At this point I'm OVER THIS. They were rude, not helpful and overall unpleasant the entire experience. We ended up going to Renton Ram Jeep and got a car for half the hassle, double the price and half the interest rate. And we were actually treated nicely. 10/10 don't waste your time at Carmax. They don't help their customers or care about them. They're really rude.

I began looking for a vehicle in February late. I received a great instant offer to trade in my 2020 Chevy Colorado from Carmax in Puyallup. I set up an appointment with them to discuss trade in and the purchase of a new vehicle. I'm a business owner as well as a new father so my time is very important just like most peoples. That day my wife had other plans so I was on baby duty. I was running a few minutes late to my appointment so I called them and informed them of this. They said it would be no problem and still continue on with the scheduled appointment. Upon arrival I was told my appointment time was given to someone else and I would be placed on the standby list and this would take no more than 20 minutes. I waited patiently with the baby in the lobby for 30 then asked how much longer the anticipated wait was. I was given the run around. I ended up waiting an hour and 20 minutes before being seen. Once I was I was told I needed to approach the business office to discuss appraisal of my vehicle. By this time the wait for an appraiser was another hour. I had to leave and could not just wait around. During this time I did search there online selection and discuss the car I would like to purchase. A few days later they called me and stated the car was now available. EXCEPT the price was now $1000 more than the advertised price. They also lowered there offer for my trade in. This created a $4000 difference in their favor for our transaction. They stated the reason was that prices change. I argued that I did everything on my end to lock in trade rate and purchase price of the vehicle. After 2 days of back and forth, talking with the manager they finally agreed to guarantee the original terms. Fast forward a few days to actual purchase of the vehicle and pick up. The car had not been cleaned/ detailed as promised. There was soot and grime in all the door jambs as well as glitter in carpet. The back up camera was also supposed to be fixed/ defogged and this didn't happen. I was given a service slip to come back another time for these repairs. 2 days into owning and driving the vehicle the check engine light came on. I sent a message to my sales person and they stated to call service to get this fixed. I called service twice and got no answer or call back after voicemail was left. I then took it in to my local jeep dealership to make sure it wasn't going to cause major issues if I kept driving it. This cost $237. They cleared the code and couldn't find the direct issue but instructed me to be diligent about contacting CarMax and getting fixed by them when it came back on. It did Sunday evening. Also that same Sunday my tire that was said to have been inspected before purchasing completely blew out and I had to change it on the pouring rain. Now I understand stuff happens but when I again contacted them Monday and Tuesday I still got no response. I then text messaged my sales person Tuesday morning and she stated someone from service will get back to me as soon as possible. It is now Wednesday morning and I have still heard nothing and am left wondering if I made a huge mistake trusting them with my business.

The worst dealership ever! And rude !

He told me that the reason that the engine was extremely loud was because it was a HEMI. That was a lie. The Dodge Charger comes with dual mufflers. The second set of mufflers was missing and this resulted in the louder than normal sound. In addition to this, I was informed that the reason that the tire pressure sensor was activated was that there were after market tires on the vehicle. This was also a lie. Les Schwab replaced a sensor and the warning signal went away. In each case, I did not ask the question 'Why?'. The salesperson (Adonis) volunteered the information. But for the fact that he lied to me I would have given this business a 5 star rating.

I also want to recognize Paul, the shop manager, who has gone above and beyond trying to help me throughout this situation. He has communicated with me, advocated for me, and continued trying to find solutions. My frustration is NOT directed toward Paul. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Austin Auto Sales after purchasing the vehicle has been extremely disappointing. Less than a month after purchasing my WRX, it developed major engine problems and ultimately needed an engine replacement. I purchased an extended warranty specifically for peace of mind, but I've now been without my vehicle for nearly two months, while continuing to make payments on a car I can't drive. I still don't even have my permanent license plates and am on temporary plates. The warranty eventually approved a replacement engine, but now there is another issue. The replacement engine needs timing belt service which the belt is worn tensioners are bad and the engine is used, which isn't covered by the warranty. Considering how quickly the original engine failed and how long I've already been without the vehicle, I asked whether the dealership could help with this additional expense. What really disappointed me was learning that my 1-star Google review was brought up when assistance was discussed with upper management, with the question being raised as to why they should participate in an additional expense for someone who left a bad review. That doesn't sit right with me. A review is supposed to reflect a customer's actual experience. I didn't leave a negative review for no reason. I left it because a vehicle I had barely owned suffered a major engine failure and I've spent nearly two months dealing with the aftermath. At this point, I'll pay for the timing belt service out of my own pocket. I'm done asking for financial assistance. I just want my WRX repaired and returned so I can finally move forward. I understand used vehicles can have unexpected problems. What matters is how a dealership responds when those problems happen shortly after a sale. Again, Dawn was great during the purchase, and Paul deserves recognition for everything he has personally done to help me afterward. Unfortunately, those positive individual experiences don't change how disappointed I am with the overall situation and the response from upper management. After nearly two months without a vehicle I had barely purchased, this experience has completely taken the excitement out of owning it. I cannot recommend Austin Auto Sales based on my experience. If you're considering purchasing a used vehicle here, do your homework, get an independent inspection, thoroughly understand the warranty, and understand what support you may receive if something major goes wrong after the sale.

We scheduled an appointment and drove down to Olympia the next day. When we first got there we were given a paper application and then were told that in order to be approved for a loan, we would have to trade in our other car (that was in a repo status). We specifically put on the application that we didn't want to trade in any car. We had made plans outside of the dealership to sell privately, but were told that it was a stipulation of the bank and we didn't have any option. We were hesitant, but continued with the paper application. Jonas ended up 'finding a way' to make it work without a trade in. Things started out a bit rocky, but got better the longer we were there. Jonas ended up getting me and my husband into a nice, clean, solid car (2014 VW Passat). He was very helpful and friendly. He listened to our needs and worked around our bad credit. He was straight up, no pressure. We are so happy with our purchase and would definitely buy from him again. Jeff O. helped us finalize the sale documents and seal the deal. He was experienced and friendly and worked with Jonas behind the scenes to get us the car we wanted. The reason for 4 not 5 stars was because of the trade in mixup and that they went to the gas station and gave us a little under a half tank after we bought the car. For us it's the little things that make all the difference, so I would suggest that they fill the tank up for new car buyers, especially on cars above $10k. It would be nice to have seen the CarFax as well. Other than those very minor things, these guys were absolutely awesome!! I would definitely purchase from them again. This place was legit. :)

Ryan was open and honest about what we could afford and Joe helped match us with a car that was perfect for our situation. They did not pressure us into a vehicle that was outside of our budget even though we were approved for more. I highly recommend this place! A great overall, low-pressure, experience. They lose a couple of stars because the car was not detailed to our expectations. There were nasty stains on the carpet, seats and crevices, grease, and trash from the previous owner. This is more of an indictment of the I-5 Cars service team. However, we postponed buying the car a couple of days for them to "detail" the vehicle and it looks as if they only did a surface wipe. To their credit, WAC did offer to take a look at the problem and possibly rectify the issue. We ultimately decided to a pay for a detailing professional to do the job since losing trust in their service capabilities and not wanting to drive back out to their location. Still a location I'd recommend to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.

A whole new fuel system was to be put in. After weeks of saying it will get started next week and stating they only have 1 lift big enough to lift my truck (highly doubt as they have service contracts with large companies), it was finally started. During the process they broke a bolt off in the engine. They called me asking for another $2400 to pull the broken bolt as insurance was not covering something they broke. After telling them I would not pay for something they broke either we are in limbo and I still have not heard back. We are now past 4 months of them having my truck. I called other ford service centers to see what their policy is on breaking something while they work and all said they would have just fixed it and not charged the customer. I am at a point where I am just ready to have the truck loaded on a trailer and start the process over again with another dealer. As I said earlier I doubt I will buy another vehicle here. My BF did some convincing for a few months before I started looking into used car dealerships. That's when I found Matthew Motors! Never once did I feel the pressure from them the entire time I was there. They just gave us the key to the 4runner we saw online and all the time we needed with the car. We tested the car as best as we could before finalizing the paperwork. I still remember before signing the papers, I asked what happens if there's something wrong with the car as I noticed the car was sold "as is" on the paperwork. They said to just give them a call and talk to them "after all, they are not in the market to sell defective cars". Fair enough. That same day, I drove 4runner around and my worst nightmare came true. THE. HORN. DIDN'T. WORK. Of course, I tested every button in the car BUT the horn *facepalm*. I immediately called them then took the car back the next day so they can have a look at it. Long story short, I had to take it to Toyota to get it diagnosed since they couldn't figure out what was going on. Toyota charged us over $500 just to DIAGNOSE what was going on and when I got the car back, two panels were missing, the cruise control and none of the buttons on the steering wheel worked. They insisted the issue was the spiral cable needs to be replaced which also caused the horn to fail.....alright(*eye-roll*) I took the car back to Matthew's Motor, gave them the diagnosis that Toyota gave me, then Jacob and Levi got to work. Not only did they get the horn working again, but they were also able to get the buttons on my steering wheel plus the cruise control working again(which apparently Toyota didn't plug my car back). Jacob and Levi, if you're reading this, I just want to say "THANK YOU SO MUCH!!" PLUS, the entire time I left my car there, Brian was extremely responsive to text and kept me updated with the status of my car at all times.
