This was an odd one for me, because I'm very split on my opinion here…read more Let's start with the vehicles, because ultimately it's a used car lot and that's the main point, right? I stopped in for a specific vehicle that I had spotted online. Very beautiful car, well appointed, in great shape. I gave it a good look and found it to be top notch. No real concerns with the vehicle itself. I also scanned the rest of the lot and to me, it really looks like they have a nice variety of very good vehicles. Overall I'd say that if you are looking for a vehicle that is a bit more higher end than the average used car lot, this place seems to have a good selection of vehicles that fit that bill. They are not dealing in massive high mileage vehicles with a history of fender benders and dents and dings all over them. The inventory here is clean, straight and well maintained. I was not, however, very happy with the overall sales process. And I ultimately found a different vehicle elsewhere that fit my situation better. I wanted to bring my own financing because I have a credit union I have worked with for well over 20 years. I trust them, they know me, we have good honest conversations that help me create a financial situation I am comfortable with. But here, they were a bit pushy about running the financing themselves and almost outright insisted that I let them run it their way. It got to the point that I was getting rather irritated about how pushy they were getting about it. In the end, I did not buy the car from them. As I stated, I found a same model car elsewhere that fit my situation better, so I went with that car instead. So I'm very split on this one. The inventory here seems very nice, but the sales tactics feel very pushy to me. Your mileage may vary.

There's no way that happened, when I said there no way he said I can go screw myself, his exact words. I took it back to you guys on 10/23/2025, bought it on 10/16/2025 for all the suspension problems, the front end moved so much that the bolts for the sway bar was hitting the frame (as seen in pics), your fix was to put the bolts in backwards, the drag link was also wore out and had hollowed out the bolt holes. On the way bringing it back to you, the lights on the dash came on and you guys blamed the battery but the voltage was at 17volts and there was coolant leak but you guys just cut the hose and made it too short instead of paying for a eight dollar part. In my contract with you guys it says you were supposed to fix the door lock that was broken into, which to this date has not been done, never heard a word from you guys to fix it when picking up the jeep from you guys. Instead I had to sign a paper saying you're not responsible for warranty on your own work. you made 400 miles in 3 weeks sound like a lot', the average is about 300 a week and the jeep was very un safe to drive especially around 50mph. It was all over the road, the tires were 11yrs old, weather cracked and low on tread, the differential may need to be repaired/replaced it had no oil in it and is leaking. The front u joints are bad, it pops when you turn, but you said I took it to a place called 'smart choice', never even heard of that place 'till now and it's in summer, that's a hour away, would never had drove it there as I mentioned it's too scary to drive on the freeway with the Jeep. I had to take the Jeep back to my shop on 12/19/2025 for a engine light, p066dd oil pump pressure, and figured out the wrong oil filter was in stalled from you guys. light then went off for about a month, light came back on same code took back to shop 01/19/2026 had to replace oil pump when pan was dropped motor full of metal so now it needs a motor. The shops have had the Jeep longer than me, only put around 1700 miles on it and needs a motor now been a total of four months without a vehicle that I make payments on but you guys promise warranty covers everything the day you drive it. That is far from the truth. Warranty wants me to pay $2000 to have the motor pulled to see why it failed with no promise that they will pay for the motor. Warranty has only covered an alternator that fried the battery and they wouldn't even cover the battery. You guys have not tried to work with me on any of the suspension stuff, now there's a motor problem total cost of fixing everything is gonna be around $23,000 if not more. I'm on a fixed income and that's just impossible. I have emailed you guys never got a response. Also all the problems that I'm having is on the car fax that I got says all this stuff was replaced but obviously it wasn't so someone lied on the Carfax and have receipts and estimates to prove it,and I also wasn't told it was wrecked. I was informed it had a clean Carfax. so I feel you guys knew about all the problems and sold it anyways cause it's all written on the Carfax. It was also a Canada car in witch you did not inform me of and Im pretty sure Washington state law is I must be notified of a odometer change pretty sure it's a felony.Because of all of the previously stated above, I would never recommend you guys, and everyone needs to know how you guys operate and how you take advantage of people. I recommend anybody reading this that has had problems with them too, go to www.atg.wa.gov and file a report. Can also call them 360-753-6200. They can help you through it.This is the Attorney General for Washington State. We just needed a vehicle and they gave it there best shot to get us their best vehicle on the lot. We are self employed and simply needed something to get us to and from bids. After around 10-15 minutes we noticed the employees standing by the door watching us so we walked in the building to confirm we were interested in test driving. When I was ready to buy, after test driving, the only woman in the office said, "now, I'm not trying to be rude..." which is always a weird way to start off a sentence, because you can almost guarantee they are about to be rude. "We close in about 15 minutes..." and she basically said we can come back tomorrow. No biggie, but not being rude would have been to greet us when we first got there an hour prior, and let us know they close in an hour, not to stand awkwardly by the door and have us wander about. Then the same lady made a comment about us being from Tacoma and how they have a problem with theft from that city. At this point we have been experiencing a few microagressions from the staff that we were just ignoring because I wanted a car. Then there was this guy who ignored my presence because (I'm assuming) his job doesn't seem to be centered around customer service. But how awkward and rude to just have me standing there waiting for help while you're doing nothing but casually chit-chatting with your coworker. Then he finally said something when my partner, who is tall and has a more aggressive presence, walked in. This employees whole tone was off. He also tried to act like he didn't know one of the gaskets were blown when my partner notified him (shady). Then he asked for my W-2 (in addition to check stubs) and said it was because they don't do a credit check. Then, in the same breath, he asked me what my credit score was. I gave him a weird look and said, "I guess you don't need to know since you don't do a credit check." After a long, awkward stare he said, "these are just questions we ask." But the thing is, no, you don't. You just told me you don't do a credit check so why ask me for my credit score? That means he, personally, just wanted to know. Weird and unprofessional. And let's be real if my credit was better, I wouldn't have been there, I would have head straight to a quality dealership.

We scheduled an appointment and drove down to Olympia the next day. When we first got there we were given a paper application and then were told that in order to be approved for a loan, we would have to trade in our other car (that was in a repo status). We specifically put on the application that we didn't want to trade in any car. We had made plans outside of the dealership to sell privately, but were told that it was a stipulation of the bank and we didn't have any option. We were hesitant, but continued with the paper application. Jonas ended up 'finding a way' to make it work without a trade in. Things started out a bit rocky, but got better the longer we were there. Jonas ended up getting me and my husband into a nice, clean, solid car (2014 VW Passat). He was very helpful and friendly. He listened to our needs and worked around our bad credit. He was straight up, no pressure. We are so happy with our purchase and would definitely buy from him again. Jeff O. helped us finalize the sale documents and seal the deal. He was experienced and friendly and worked with Jonas behind the scenes to get us the car we wanted. The reason for 4 not 5 stars was because of the trade in mixup and that they went to the gas station and gave us a little under a half tank after we bought the car. For us it's the little things that make all the difference, so I would suggest that they fill the tank up for new car buyers, especially on cars above $10k. It would be nice to have seen the CarFax as well. Other than those very minor things, these guys were absolutely awesome!! I would definitely purchase from them again. This place was legit. :)

Ryan was open and honest about what we could afford and Joe helped match us with a car that was perfect for our situation. They did not pressure us into a vehicle that was outside of our budget even though we were approved for more. I highly recommend this place! A great overall, low-pressure, experience. They lose a couple of stars because the car was not detailed to our expectations. There were nasty stains on the carpet, seats and crevices, grease, and trash from the previous owner. This is more of an indictment of the I-5 Cars service team. However, we postponed buying the car a couple of days for them to "detail" the vehicle and it looks as if they only did a surface wipe. To their credit, WAC did offer to take a look at the problem and possibly rectify the issue. We ultimately decided to a pay for a detailing professional to do the job since losing trust in their service capabilities and not wanting to drive back out to their location. Still a location I'd recommend to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.
