Very disappointed with their dishonest behavior. We had an annual service with them for pest control. They were charging us $125 for both interior and exterior treatment (one time service). I called to make an appointment and before hanging up the phone I thought to confirm the $125 cost. The woman on the phone said oh no, $125 is only for exterior. If you want also interior it will be $200. I had the last invoices and they were $125 for interior/exterior. She then started making excuses that maybe the technician had added the wrong cost and she became condescending. If the cost was different why didn't she inform us? Trying to sneak in additional charges. We would never use them again. There are so many companies out there that are not rude and unprofessional. read more

Alex came today to treat ant infestations around our foundation. While doing the treatment, he noticed some dry rot in the facia beam above our garage. I had noticed it earlier, and I have a general contractor already scheduled (appreciate his observation)! Very sad service, Clearly there are significant communication issues between the back office and service techs. We received visits even though we got email acknowledgment of cancelation, they missed that they promised to call to reschedule a service date due to rain and charged me for work never performed, though they did issue a credit that day. They never sent a contract for some work performed and failed to sufficiently inform us that we had to leave the house during an inside treatment. There were just too many drops, miscommunication and lack of vital information for us to feel comfortable using their services. The techs who came out were fine and Melany on the phone is great. Then we received a contract and request for credit card prior to service. have ever paid for service prior and don't intend to . Tehn received a message the day before asking if we could change time . Called several places and CVPC was able to quickly schedule an inspection. From Ms. Beth to Inspector Lee Edgerton, we had great experience and zero complaint. The inspector Edgerton showed up on time, he identified the area that was infected right away and explained to us what he would treat the issue and how it works. He seemed to have exhaustive knowledge on construction and gave me a thorough run down of what to expect during the treatment process. The team is great. Zach came and checked our house and gave us a great written estimate for some major deck and house wood rot and termite damage repairs. It was a very good price compared to the 2 other companies we tried. A team of 3 trucks with about 4-5 guys came on schedule and completed the work in 4 days. The Forman Lee and his team did amazing work. When done Lee walked me around and showed all of the repairs and even did several extra things not on the estimate but he said 'we were here and wanted to do it right'. Amazing. I found what looked like termites in my attic last weekend so called Carmel Valley Pest Control to have someone come out and take a look. I got an appointment for less than a week later and Chuck, who I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by, was right on time for the appointment, and could not have been more helpful and nice. This is my first home and we've lived here for lest than a year so I was a little worried about something like this being a big problem, but did an inspection, then he explained what I had seen (termite scouts but not a full infestation) and walked me through exactly what the best course of action would be and sprayed the attic right then to prevent any more from sticking around. He was very thorough, and really went above and beyond for us. Several months later we had and inspection by CVPC and they stated "if my guys had done this job, I would have fired them."
