    Veggie pizza
    John H.

The pizza here was decent. The cheese pizza had a spicy marinara sauce and the veggie pizza was loaded. The crust was a bit on the tougher side but we did have to drive 30 min before we could eat the pizza so that probably made a difference. The large pizza is a decent size that can easily feed 3-4 people.

Ordered takeout here on 4th of July - This town is slammed that week. They were really backed up and they did a great job catching up and getting the pizza done in a decent time. The pizza was excellent. It's a small place that has a few tables, but does mostly takeout.

    Garlic chicken pizza

I called carmines and placed and order for a large chicken garlic pizza. All was well, was told 45 wait, I came to pick it up and was greeted by unmatched attitude that I was 10 min early. Not only was it not done on time but the pizza was purposely not put in so that it was 10 minutes late. The owner came out and talked down to me knowing I was Ukrainian and she was Russian. The experience was sickening and the food was subpar. Don't go there unless u wanna go home mad. Floppy soggy mess

The pizza was just okay, nothing great and pretty expensive. It was good for a quick stop but not for a solid meal.

Excellent California style pizza. Service was ok, not as friendly as others on the Cape but that's ok. :-)

The pizza here is pretty good, but it's a little smaller than the typical slice and slightly pricier.

Get the pepperoni, mushroom, artichoke. Best cornmeal crust pizza I've ever had. Make sure to douse it in hot pepper flakes.

We only go here because there are not a lot of options in the area and the Chatham Perk is closed on Sundays, sigh. We put our orders on a not so busy Sunday, and learned, after paying, that they have ran out of bacon, three types of bagels (fan favorites too) and napkins (talk about messy fingeys). They asked what we wanted to sub for the bacon, and one of our gals politely said, sausage. She gets her sandwich, no sausage :( one subbed ham, if you're thinking about getting that... don't (talk about scary). Bagel toasted? Not a chance. I do like this part, but it's important to note to those that may not, that the eggs are an inch thick. All in all, they should really remove the "ES" at the end and call themselves the Bagel Duds. Just not good.

I went with the hangover sandwich on an everything bagel - this seemed perfect after having a couple glasses of Cab Sauvignon last night. The sandwich was excellent and featured plenty of meat and cheese. Overall, it was a solid breakfast before a long day of exploring town. Their location is pretty solid, toward the southern end of town near the beach and lighthouse. I do agree with all the reviews. The staff certainly weren't the most friendly though were not outright rude. Overall this is a place that met the need in the moment though probably wouldn't visit again.

We sit at the bar and after 5 minutes or so, we place our drink order. So far so good. We then place our app order. Stuffed quahog and the Portugese Littlenecks. Nothing too ground breaking here. Littlenecks cook in about 6 minutes and I am sure the quahog is ready to be popped in the oven on the prep line. 45 minutes later, no apps. Bartender is back in the kitchen 3 times. Still no apps. We get to talking to a local resident next to us who ordered a salad with salmon, and she says that this was her second try at the restaurant as well and no realizes why she never came back. Her salad took about an hour. For a salad... Ok, so now we place dinner. Well we should have just paid at that point and gone to the Squire for a burger cause now we wait another hour for our dinners. Which when they come out are ice cold. Mind you we had baked cod and a pasta dish. Neither of those should take more than 20 minutes to prep. We have now been in this place over 2 hours and didn't get to eat a dinner. What a huge disappointment. Sad thing is this place can get away with bad service because they are attached to an inn in downtown. So people will never stop eating there. But hopefully with a few more bad reviews, they will figure something out or close.

The wedge salad and Thai chicken dumplings were a great start. And the pan seared salmon and pan seared swordfish were also very tasty with interesting sides. But, the baked stuffed shrimp was only okay, as the orange-citrus sweet sauce was overpowering and off-putting and the forbidden rice was inedible. My friend's pork chop was way overcooked and dry. The service was a big detractor. Our waitress barely engaged with our table of four. She arrived with our main course and noticed all the appetizer plates hadn't been cleared and set our hot dinners on a tray stand while she removed empty plates. Awkward! She never checked on our dinners, and when we were almost finished, she returned to ask if we wanted more wine or another cocktail. Too late! It's unfortunate as some of the food was really good, but at $100/person (with tip), I'd expect better.
