I legit walked in to pick up my order I just called in and walk right out because as soon as I walked in there I was given a very creepy stare by a male in the kitchen and then a female whispering things into his ear clearly frustrated about something. Their pizza is always great. I'd recommend ordering their pizza extra well done. As far as specific pizza types go, I'd recommend the straight pizza, meat lovers, or margarita. If you're looking for thin crust pizza, then this is definitely the place for you. We always get Sweet Tomatoes when we're in Chatham and it typically takes around 45 minutes for the pizzas to come out. Each pizza is around $25 for a large, however the larges are good for 2-3 people. There is parking on the side of the building, but also additional parking in the back. As far as dine in seating goes, I believe they have 1-2 tables inside and a couple outside as well, but most of the time we do takeout. Overall, I'd definitely recommend. read more

We absolutely love the food here, but 75% of the time that we decide to have pizza they are closed. They don't maintain their hours on their Google business listing, on Yelp, or on their website, at least not for the last time we tried (they were closed but Yelp, Google and their website all said they were open). We end up eating here 2x in the 3.5 months we're here instead of 8x as a result. So disappointing because we love it otherwise! Everywhere else I've lived, the pizza joints had the longest hours in town. This place has the shortest of any restaurant in town. Sweet Tomatoes was a great pizza parlor while on the Cape for a week! We had pizza on 3 occasions while staying in Chatham in August. One pizza better than the last. The only thing we noticed were the very limited hours during the weekend! To stop taking orders by 7:10 pm on a Saturday night in August didn't make much sense to us considering the percentage of restaurants that had closed during the pandemic /shutdown in recent months. The pizza was mediocre. The girl wearing the Red Sox tshirt isn't very friendly, turning away customers because they close at 9? It was only 8. I asked her if they had any pizza slices left, her response was "this is what we have and we're not making anymore." This was the best pizza I have had in a long time! I loved the very thin crust and that their sauce - which was super flavorful - included tomato chunks. We had the 18" large mushroom - mushrooms fresh and plentiful. I thought we would end up eating more than we did because the crust was thin and we were really hungry, but two of us didn't quite make it through 1/2 of it. Had the worst pizza there this past week, in my entire life! I ordered a small pepper/onion, well done. I've been on this planet for almost 4 decades, travelled and experienced Pizza all over the US. But this pizza was a first for me. I've never had pizza so thin that I could almost see through it. Let me preface that Sweet T's has been our go to place when up on the Cape.... of course when we aren't doing seafood.... The owners a good guy and we always enjoy sitting outside with our freshly cooked good. With that being said... that is why it hurts me to leave this review. Our most recent visit was beyond disappointing... the pizza was probably the worst I have every eaten... and was not even closely resembling a pizza. Now, trying to assess how this might happen, it was late. They close at 9 and we showed up at 8:45. It was clear that they were cleaning up already.... we were also told we can not sit outside because by the time we got our order they would be closed... despite it was clear they would still be there cleaning....ok, back to the pizza.... so, was it that they just wanted to get it done, so who cares what came out? I didn't see the owner, was it just some college kid angry we showed up so late? Frankly, don't know. What I do know is that it was just bad... really bad.... so much so, that dispute my normal excitement of my first ST visit when I get onto the Cape, I honestly may go find a new favorite.
