As I took my first bite, "oh yeah" but Steve lacy played in my car stereo, and instead of feeling like a chud loser for eating alone, I felt like a girl who was going to be okay- I saw light at the end of the tunnel, the wind felt cooler, I could see past the smog and the sky cleared up. It was as if God had intervened and blessed me with not only the best sandwich of my life but the hope that things will be okay and life is beautiful and whimsical. I will forever be changed.
