Went into buy some meat and chicken real quick,as this is my go to carniceria,the cashier had a attitude with me ,also I purchased a bag for whatever fee they sell them for and the bag fell apart as I grabbed my bag with the items I purchased,I told her that the bag fell apart and she told me with a attitude that next time grab the bag from the bottom instead of the handles,she made me feel dumb,she could of said it's ok sir here take another bag free of charge but she didn't,,I don't know what her name was but she kinda had curly hair.thats not how you treat your customers that go and consume from your business,shame on her read more

Whoever manages their social media advertisements should find a clearer way to post promotions. I saw a weekly ad on Instagram for beef tongue listed at $6.99 per pound, with dates at the bottom indicating when the ad was valid. Since the store is out of my way, I made a special trip and planned to shop for both my household and my parents. When I arrived, I was told the sale was only for one day and that day had already passed. Nowhere on that portion of the advertisement did it state it was a one day sale or specify which day it applied to. I'll attach a screenshot for reference. The marinated ranchera is delicious. The flavor is honestly perfect. The price is comparable to other quality butcher shops and it's close by. We got 4lbs of meat, a large side of beans, large side of rice, avocado salsa and some corn tortillas and it came out to $106. The rice is just ok. I would rather make my own. The beans had zero taste. No salt no nothing. I had to add my own seasonings. The tortillas are not great. I would say just get meat from here and avoid the extras. read more

Not very honest in my experience. Every time I visit this market I pick up carne asada, chicken and a few other items. When I first started going there I would ask for 2 pounds of asada and they would try to give me 3 to 4 pounds. I would have the guy put the extra meat back. Eventually he stopped trying to add meat to the order. My wife decided to visit the market today while I was at work and guess what? Yup, she came home with way more than 2 pounds. Listen, I know its not exactly a big deal. I'm just not a fan of dishonesty. Especially as a loyal customer that visits your business weekly. I get it, as a customer we need to take some responsibility for making sure that we get what we are asking for. That's on us, but its on them for taking advantage and not being honest. For that reason, our weekly trip to the meat market is going to be to a different market. Hopefully a more honest one. read more

Just moved here and I am so happy I found my meat market. The meat is so good and the service is great.

My family loves there meat best place to find your meat. I do have problems with them locking there doors at 5:54pm but there closing time is 6pm. So why post a time if your not going to follow it. Another problem to me is when I go in the store I don't get the same service as my husband. Maybe because I'm a female or because my skin isn't brown enough. Some of the employees are respectful. I do understand Spanish so don't think I don't understand what your saying about me. This would be the my first choice of carniceras but I need to start spending my money somewhere else. first time going to this carniceria, im new to mo val and was looking for a good carniceria around here...I always go to taqueria 2 potrillos and I saw this spot and I thought to myself lets try it out....I personally didn't go myself I had my girlfriend go, lol poor thing she didn't know English and the labels I guess were in Spanish, though the employees did speak English, she was a bit overwhelmed lol she made a mistake on the meat she wanted, she called me and I helped her, thankfully sh was able to exchange the type of meat..... anywho brought the meat home...grilled it..it was perfectly seasoned...this is definitely my go to carniceria spot read more

I'm surprised it has so bad reviews because the meat is great! I used to shop at El Super or Cardenas for meat but no more! The carne asada is the best in town! Now they came up with meat packages and I love them! You get a decent amount of meat for a great price/quality. Carniseros are scandalous, you order 5 pounds off meat and they always give you close to 6 pounds! I ordered 1 pound of cheese for $3.99 and I didn't checked cuz I figured he would give me the 1 pound , but he gave me 1 3/4 pounds so the point is after looking at my receipts I payed close to $10 over what I have ordered!
