    Waiting for our burritos DEC2024
    Franklin M.

We came by in the morning and wanted breakfast burritos but changed are minds when we saw the different meat options. This is a carniceria but most customers were coming in to buy ready made food to go. We ordered two carne asada and one bean & cheese burrito. The burritos are big and are worth the price that's paid but the carne asada wasn't right or it was not of a high quality. Despite this we still enjoyed the food with all it's flavoring.

Second time here and not disappointed at all. Met the owner Raul and extremely polite and very friendly. He really took the time to explain the various specials that he offers all week, Monday through Friday, Call and ask what specials they offer for the day. Taco Tuesday $.99 and Friday during lent they fry the fish/seafood for free when you purchase the food there. The place is clean and what can I say about a small business meat market the ingredients are fresh. Let's support small businesses. Great quality seafood, meats, poultry and vegetables. Definitely will highly recommend and gained a new customer.

    Price gouging

Price gouging! This is what happens when you support Gloria's carniceria... you get ripped off! I am well aware that small businesses charge more but this is outrageous! $8 for two of these cans!? They are taking advantage of our Hispanic community whom are the ones supporting their business! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Food wasn't good at all. Very disappointing

I bought this combo plate. The food was very, very disappointing. Nasty Tasted sour or spoiled, ended up throwing it away.

Menudo is disgusting as hell. Only eat a little was supplied "lemon" and onion w celantro but the lemon was all dry no juice I will not be eating this at all or going back for this item.

Al Pastor, Cabeza, and Carne Asada is a must! The beans and green salsa is delicious. The Carne Asada is a little different than the usual, but it feels like it's made with love - all the flavors of homemade. Steer clear from the Carnitas. Little hole in the wall inside a carniceria market. Friendly service. Great people.

7 different tacos at $1 each, from asada, al pastor, buche, carnitas, lengua, cabeza and one more that slips my mind.

Was a menudo kind of day and as usual, it did not disappoint. Best menudo in the area, by far. They have this chili oil which you can add if you like your menudo spicy, which I do. Picked up a few groceries and meat while I was there as well and all good. Live to have a place with such quality food and groceries in the neighborhood. Almost forgot about the chicharron con carne, which was also yummy and fresh!

Larios Market was recommended to me by a wonderful fellow Yelper. You know who you are. Thank you!…read more I wanted to get guacamole, salsa, and chips for a team potluck lunch. I got rave reviews on these items that they are super good at Larios so here I am to confirm. This market is located at the corner of Barranca Ave and Arrow Highway in Covina. It's actually a meat market, but they sell produce and other food/dry items plus hot foods. It's a very small place with maybe 3-4 tight aisles. I went straight to the refrigeration area. I saw lots of different salsas and a handful of guacamole. At first glance, the appearance of the guac did not look appealing to me. It looked brown and kind of watery at the top. I was hesitant to get them, but since they were recommended, I got 3 of them. Now looking back, I should have only gotten one just to try them. It was not that great IMHO. Maybe they were not made that day and have been hanging around for a day or so. However, the roasted red salsa was really really good... I would highly recommend this one. Pico de gallo was decent. Crab ceviche was just okay... too much of the V8 taste. I ended up buying 6 containers and spent over $50 on guac and salsa. Probably more than I need. I didn't bother with the chips as they look more on the oily side. Anyway, staff was nice and helpful. Check out was fast as it wasn't super busy at the time. Parking is limited. They do have a few tables and stools outside in front of the market for those who want to eat here after their food purchase. I'm not sure if I would come back for the guac, but I may come back for the roasted red salsa and possibly their tacos and burritos.

They're square aluminum foil to protect food from dripping onto your stove by the burners. I'm a guy, so that's the best I can do for identifying these.
