I highly recommend this place! It's hard to find good Hawaiian style Poke. This place satisfies my…read morecraving for poke every time, hands down. Good quality fish, and I really like all their side toppings. Imitation crab salad, seaweed salad, sunomono--all solid! Their rice is also cooked perfect, and marinades are consistent every time. Spice level on the spicy mayo salmon is good. My only two gripes: Firstly, I wish they had more options outside of just salmon and tuna (ex: tako, yellowtail). However, I'd rather a place nail every limited option they have, rather than be mediocre with a wider selection. Secondly, I find it odd is their shoyu tuna is a bit spicy even though shoyu isn't traditionally spicy; they sprinkle a red powder on it. On DoorDash, you can't ask them to withhold the spice powder. I'm fine with spice--but be aware if you are not.

You order from a kiosk and wait for a text saying your food is ready, then pick it up form the counter. This place has alot of ubereats, doordashers, etc come here to pick the food up from the lockers theb deliver it. Ill give this plave a 3.5 because theres no description of what they put in their food. I loved the crab salad, it has alot of mayo. The cu cai salad was raddish with sesame sauce. It was refreshing. For this fish, i got nuc mam and honey wasabi because they dont have these at usual poke places. The nuc mam has peanuts in it. This one is a hit or miss. I was fine with it since it was different. The honey wasabi was really good until about the 5th piece. The taste kinda got boring and it ended up being tooo saucy. The wonton chips it comes with was amazing. I was worried there wouldnt be any because it said it was sold out. I wasnt sure what volcano was as it just said volcano but if i do come again ill probably try that one. I didnt get a picture of their menu items and i felt like someone was waiting to use it. Theres a decent amoutn of parking since most come and go since there is no dining area.

First, thank you to the other Yelpers who reviewed this place. I was searching for excellent sushi…read moredelivery the night before surgery in Beverly Hills, which is not the moment you want to gamble on mediocre fish. The reviews steered me right -- this place is outstanding. Everything arrived beautifully packaged, almost like opening a curated box rather than typical takeout. The presentation alone was impressive: neatly organized compartments, pristine nigiri, and even a printed guide showing what each piece was. It felt thoughtful and elevated from the moment we opened it. The fish itself was exceptionally fresh. The salmon nigiri was buttery and soft, the tuna clean and vibrant, and the tekka maki perfectly balanced with tender rice and generous fish. Nothing felt rushed or sloppy -- every piece looked like it had just come off a sushi counter rather than out of a delivery bag. Even the small details stood out. The edamame was perfectly cooked, the sauces were neatly portioned, and everything traveled well without getting smashed or soggy. And because honesty matters in Yelp reviews: my Shiba Inu immediately stationed herself next to the tray and strongly endorsed the tekka maki. High praise. If you want high-quality sushi delivery in Beverly Hills that actually arrives looking and tasting like restaurant sushi, this place absolutely delivers. I'll be ordering again and again and again.

I ordered for pick-up at 11:30 and the initial notification from the restaurant stated my food would be ready by 11:45. I knew parking would be bad so I left a little early and at 11:24 I received a message saying my order was ready. If this was almost any other type of cold food, I think it would be fine to let the food sit and wait. But for hot foods or sushi like this, a 20 minute jump in time isn't great for someone expecting their order at least at 11:30 so although I appreciate my food being ready sooner, it's not always a good thing. The other issue is the kitchen or pick-up area. HiDozo Van Nuys is in a ghost kitchen set up with a tiny lobby and no signs or directions on whether you're even in the right space because you don't know which restaurants are here. I had to deal with 5-6 food delivery drivers that didn't know their heads from their asses and just hung out in the lobby. There is one girl working that is very sweet and trying to manage it all but this just isn't an ideal pick-up location. I ordered the Deep Dive box $54 along with an order of chu-toro $8 and unagi $8. There is no question that the food looks stunning and the presentation is exceptional. The bags and boxes are all high quality and better than what you typically find for takeout from Sugarfish. Sadly the actual sushi presented a mixed bag of feelings. I started with the tuna sashimi which was cut perfectly and tasted great, then moved onto some of the nigiri including the hotate, salmon, albacore, and hamachi. The fish is all absolutely delicious, buttery, rich, tender, and flavorful. The issue comes down to the rice. The rice is pretty dry and bland. It's also clear that nobody is hand forming this rice. It looks WAY too perfect and symmetrical, and every piece looks exactly the same. Even the most skilled sushi chef with decades of experience could not get sushi rice this exact every single time. So I did a little digging and videos on their Instagram don't show the rice ever being formed by the chefs. It's always ready and the chef simply takes it from one hand, adds the fish, and forms the fish over the rice, never once actually making the rice himself. Before I moved onto the tuna nigiri I had the unagi and although soft and buttery, it was ice cold and clearly not charred or grilled. For $8 (which mind you, is the same price as the chu-toro) I would've expected quality at the level of the chu-toro. As for the tuna nigiri they were all fantastic. At least, the fish was. The rice was still meh. The tuna, akami, toro, and chutoro were all buttery, soft, and you could definitely tell them apart. But sadly, once again, the rice was not great. Here's the kicker - the rice in the futomaki roll was actually good. I wouldn't doubt that the fresher rice is kept and used for the rolls because the texture and bite was so much better. The minced tuna was a delight and this was one of my favorites here. Overall, with the price of $70 before tax, it would be nice if HiDozo actually focused on the rice considering a chef of this stature wouldn't and shouldn't neglect the key component of sushi. Any person with a spec of food and cultural insight knows that "sushi" means vinegared rice so the toppings are a second to the rice and don't have to be fish or seafood related. But still, this isn't a place I would revisit or recommend.

Between my long commute to work, workout schedule and other daily needs, sometimes it's just super nice and convenient to have a meal ready to eat that's loaded with the essential macros I need. I order about every other week and so far I've been very pleased with the taste, amount of food and the spectacular presentation. What I recommend (so far): Chimichurri Steak was by far one of my favorites. That Chimichurri sauce was so perfect. The beef was perfectly cooked and I could even taste the grilled flavor in the meat. Breakfast Pizza with light marinara, scrambled eggs, sausage and pepperoni totally hit the spot!! I'm a huge pizza fan and this was perfection in the morning. I air-fried 2 pieces each morning and savored every bite. Steak & Eggs was delicious. Bibimbap was fantastic!! The sauce was excellent and mildly spicy. I added extra sriracha and tamari sauce. I still have a Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese to try but how can you go wrong with that?! Thank you to Meals of Steel for taking some of the work out of my week and keeping me happy and fed!!

I was planning to stick with my usual sandwiches, but the delicious aroma of freshly baking pizza totally pulled me in. While waiting, we browsed the impressive selection of beers in their fridges; everything is neatly labeled with a wide range of craft, limited edition, sours, ales, hefs, and IPAs. We couldn't resist creating a 4-pack to take home. Love the cool wine cellar vibes The Heights has but for beer and yummy grub. For dinner, we ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza (cooked well done, my go to). Waiting for our order, I was this close to putting together another beer 4-pack, but I managed to resist! Our food came out quick, and we headed home (as fast as legally allowed ). The pizza was huge, flavorful, and super satisfying--even if it could've used a tiny bit more time in the oven for that extra "well-done" crisp. Regardless, we left stuffed and happy. Service was great, and I got a kick out of the restroom key attached to a small frying pan--no way anyone's losing that! I usually get lucky with street parking right out front. Make sure to heck the street signs and meters. Always a fun and tasty experience. The Heights Deli is a must before or after the game, or anytime you're in the area!

There are a number of small boutique stores located here. This Japanese restaurant was a great find when I was out walking. I was actually going to pick up some food at another place. I read some of the reviews to get an idea of what to expect and was pleased to find that the food here is very good. This is a takeout only restaurant. They cater and also Chef Maezaki teaches sushi techniques in the surrounding area. I entered the front door and walked to the large counter. I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. I asked a number of questions and realized that I must be talking to Chef Maezakl. He showed me the menu. He also showed me specials that they were offering. After taking some time I decided to order the special wagyu beef entree, and a spicy tuna hand roll. I sat down in one of the chairs available and waited. I could smell great aromas from the food being prepared in the kitchen. I was happy when my food arrived about 15 minutes later. I could sense his pride in what he had prepared for me. I enjoyed the complete dinner that was the wagyu beef entree. There was rice, pickled cucumber, California roll sushi, a special piece of fried chicken, and chicken gyoza. It came in a perfectly packed & arranged container, ready to eat. I'm happy to say the taste translated to a great experience in dining. The marinated beef was tender and flavorful. The chicken was moist tender with a crisp exterior. The cucumber salad was bright and refreshing. The fresh sushi was a nice touch. I went back another time to try the cold chicken ramen, a three piece chicken appetizer, and the tiramisu. I was happy with the fresh flavor of the vegetables in the ramen. It was a nice change. All I can say about the tiramisu is that it has an addicting flavor! I can't wait to have it again. It's nice that the parking lot accommodates all the small boutique businesses. There has always been plenty of parking when I was there. This shopping area with its boutique stores is a good find. I look forward to my experience at CM Ghost Kitchen.

Overall hits the spot for sushi fix. The only drawback is it's priced the same as restaurants which would have served two pieces of each fish plus uni and ikura etc. Although I will say I was pleasantly surprised at the tiny squeeze bottle sauces provided and that it tasted homemade (ponzu, yuzu, unagi sauce).
