Even fish choices is limited to salmon, swai and tilapia. I was hoping something like cod etc. Overall you get great deals here! I sometimes buy Tri tip here for a good price, freeze them and use later for a smoked Tri tip! Came here in the morning and no lines at the front when you are paying. Thank you!!

A good friend stopped by on her way between business meetings to check out the Pokemon card drop…read more She was approached after just five minutes and asked to leave because she was "loitering" and it was "messing with their numbers". About to leave, another customer said that this store notoriously does this - they kick customers out right before the drops so that they can buy the products themselves (if they want to buy them themselves, perhaps they can just talk to the vendor to sell to them privately instead of harassing customers). During the minute that this other customer was talking to her, a man came and reiterated that she needed to leave or he would call the police for LOITERING - less than ten minutes! The man told her that California has a ten minute law on loitering (which is an outright lie). What kind of employee threatens to have a customer ARRESTED, by way of false police report, for waiting a few minutes to purchase items from a machine that the business brought in, in order to drive foot traffic into the store?! Make it make sense! The employee (I'm assuming a manager) also said he could ask her to leave and permanently ban her from the store. Again, wtf. All this because the employee wants to buy some damn Pokemon cards? Making a false police report is an actual misdemeanor crime. In California, loitering laws generally are enforceable when ill intent is at play - waiting for cards is NOT ill intent. Wasting valuable police and public resources on frivolous calls is also extremely unethical. The fact that this behavior is known by other members in the community shows that this is an ongoing issue. Grocery customers spend thousands of dollars per year at their local grocery stores - families can spend tens of thousands per year. I will NEVER shop at a Food 4 Less again, and I will tell my friends and family to do the same. It's absolutely absurd to threaten anyone with a permanent ban and/or a false police report for "loitering" in your store for a machine you presumably WANT to drive traffic with. Just awful behavior. Just over the weekend I was at a different retail store myself and the employees kindly let me wait fifteen minutes in their lobby for my Uber to pick me up since it was very cold outside. THAT is excellent service, and I'll be giving them a great review for their kindness! Food 4 Less can learn a thing or two from them.

Cute country style market with quaint simple hometown ambience. And 18 eggs were 3.99 at a special anniversary price.

Okay, Tokyo Central -- I'm back. Again. Against my better judgment…read more It's a full-blown love-hate relationship, and honestly, I'm not even sure which side is winning anymore. I love the ready-to-go meals. I hate that my wallet cries every single time I walk through those doors. And yet, here I am. But here's the thing -- they never skimp on quality, and that's what keeps dragging me back like a moth to an overpriced flame. Those roast beef sandwiches are still $4.99, and at this point, that price tag alone deserves a standing ovation. In this economy? Iconic. Their uni puts every other Asian market I've tried to absolute shame -- no contest, don't even argue with me on this one. The real MVPs of the store, though? The soup noodles and sushi rolls. Genuinely elite. And don't even get me started on the drink selection -- if it came from Japan and you can't pronounce it, they probably have it. As for the meat section -- surprisingly solid. Most cuts were quality grade, which, given the prices, is the bare minimum they could do. At least they're holding up their end of the deal. Will I be back? Obviously. Do I need therapy for it? Possibly.

Easy ti make for anytime meal. It wasn't on sale, but I still grab it for convenience. They took out the section for apparel, too bad! I used to buy their cute T-shirts and hoodies. They are good quality. Oh, too bad ~~ Cashiers was pretty nice and gave us bags for my Dad's EBT. Really wish they have a Tokyo Central near us, I live to shop there!
