The experience with J&C was quite the opposite: excellent communication, fast response for quote, competitive pricing, very knowledgeable, and the floor was repaired quickly and correctly. James will likely reply to this with a he said she said sort of shaming, but this next problem is indefensible: now our flooring is breaking and they won't respond to me when I've tried to contact them. I think it's a manufacturer error, but it could be installation. I know my daughter's motorized wheelchair is part of the wear, but they knew we needed something that could handle that. The LVP boards are lifting and the corners breaking. It's troubling that they won't stand by their work or help facilitate communication with the manufacturer. (Also, if anyone knows how to get in touch with Nuvelle flooring, who made our LVP, I'd appreciate it!) ((I do see James likes to post personal emails to make himself look innocent here. Altogether they installed carpet, hardwoods, a stair runner, and mohawk laminate flooring. Once we offered on our new home, we needed the carpet replaced in our old house asap so we could list it. They replaced the carpet in two bedrooms and closets in one day. The photo showing the hardwood was previously carpet and we preferred hardwood against the back door entry. Patrick did a beautiful job. We were going to do LVP in the hallway upstairs but Patrick recommended we try Mohawk laminate. It was a GREAT choice. It's completely waterproof and slip free and really looks like real wood. All work was done at a very reasonable cost. Patrick is very responsive and did a wonderful job.

While Barrow Building's issues should not be conflated with Neuse Tile, we did have several issues with NT. First, their quotes seemed inflated compared to industry standards. They did back off of some high quotes when challenged by us. The biggest issue was that they laid mismatched tile (different color shades) in multiple bathrooms and then covered the floors with paper making discovering the error only possible toward the end of the project. The mismatches were obvious and should not have occurred. To NT's credit, they did re-lay the tile at the contractor's expense, but it did create an unnecessary delay in the project completion,
