New bight and clean coffee ship attached to Carnegie Hall. Save your receipt for 10% off at the gift shop. They feature Stumptown coffee and Pepsi, no Coke, :(. I just had an iced mocha. It was great. Would be better if they had a blender. The service was friendly.

Afternoon break with hot tea by Mem Tea brand $3.00 and chocolate chip cookie $3.00 in the vicinity of Carnegie Hall under opulent chandeliers and ambient lighting for self-care time. This cafe is a beautiful setting with welcoming and very attentive staff ready, willing and able to serve patrons. Price is aligned with 2024 inflation and stagflation era. This cafe certainly offers a reprieve from daily life's troubles and drudgeries. Tables provided abundant space and there are couches are available for seating. Weill Cafe gave me the illusion of a lavish coffee lounge. Oh, so this is how the opulence privileged half live! I was served well by the staff. I was not rushed despite the standard fast-paced New York lifestyle. Loyalty cards are available where upon purchasing the nine coffees enables the tenth coffee is free. I would surely return for more chocolate chip cookies and tea.

In NYC and DC this week for symphony and opera. Dropped in for tea and snacks at the new Weill Cafe (named after a banker not the composer Kurt). Beautiful classy ambience, good chocolate chip cookie and butter croissant, great English breakfast tea. A hidden gem!

Beautiful Cafe in the Style of Carnegie Hall complete with Chandeliers and parque flooring! They have coffee, sandwiches, salads, bagels, fruit and vegetable snack cups. They also have a selection of waters and juices. They service was fast and we were so pleased to have been introduced to this spot while waiting for our Tour of Carnegie Hall.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

I'd been meaning to stop by this place after always passing it on my way to work, and i'm glad I…read moredid! I got the almond croissant which was an absolute BANGER!! I always get almond croissants from coffee shops but wow this one has to be one of my favorites. The crunchy (sugar?) top coating and the filling were delectable. I got one of the seasonal spring drinks, called "Karl" which is a banana cold brew with cold foam. I don't even like cold brews since they tend to be super strong and pretty bitter, and banana can be a hit or miss, but I enjoyed the hell out of this drink. It was a bit sweet, which I like, and the cold brew itself had a banana flavor when I had just expected it to come from the cold foam. I didn't sit or stay inside as I had to go to work, but there are a few (maybe 5 I think?) chairs along a bar counter on the side. Plants in the window too which I love. The barista was nice and made the drinks quickly despite being there by herself early in the morning (or at least I didn't see another employee). I recommended this place to my coworkers and can't wait to go back and try the other drink options!

Theres a shared bar table along one wall with high top chairs and menu options at the counter + a chalkboard with seasonal drinks. I left with a Balthazar Bakery box with 4 items. The 2 Everything pastries were filled with what looked like spinach and cheese. Incredible when reheated, but I wish they were served warm. The cinnamon roll was good, but not standout. The pain au chocolat was tender and flaky. Some of the seasonal drinks, like the Grinch, looked really good and I'd come back to try one, but I likely wouldn't swing for a pastry this time.
