Friendly but within a week, the carpet had stains (there were some stains they couldn't get out to begin with because they only used some spray bottle and steam machine). I understand the padding underneath might be dirty but I saw the PRISTINE carpet multiple times during open houses and for inspections so I know it's not to the point of unsavable. 1 week is ridiculous. But more importantly they left black scrape marks all over the walls at the bottom where their machine scratched the moulding. Tried to fix one problem and now I have 2. Wouldn't go with this company again. read more

We had a sticky spill on just one side of an area rug that we wanted taken care of quickly. Carpet Kings was very responsive and came out the next day (they would have come the same day but I was the one who was unavailable). They had their own water source, protected our banister (the spill was upstairs) and had it cleaned up within an hour for a very reasonable fee. Highly recommend!! read more

I have nothing but nice things to say about Carpet Kings. Professional, on time and stuck to my budget! And as far as the service...AMAZING! I have been in my place 4 years and have NEVER had the carpets done professionally....and trust me it showed. I spilled soda in my car and it soaked my fabric seats and carpets. I called Carpet Kings for service and Adi responded right away and was able to show up for service within the hour! Jason is so wonderful! Can't say enough good words or give a better recommendation! I called him because of his glowing reviews and just as the reviews said, he discusses everything with you personally, does the work himself, is right on time, is very fair with his pricing, and does an excellent job with cleaning. He cleaned seven area rugs for me and five dining room chairs, all of which look incredible - they had stain, pet marks, and dirt. He can do it all. He also took the time to make sure I was on board with exactly how he was cleaning everything, and if there were other stains on other items that could not be removed, he kindly warned me before just doing the work at risk of damage to the item and taking my money. We were moving and needed to clean the carpet. Although we had done it about every year (high traffic areas) for seven years, we had two recent coffee stains in the carpet. Love these Knutson! They did an excellent job! I was amazed how much my couch went from dingy and stained to brand new. Also my daughter spilt blue make up all over her carpet. Carpet Kings totally live up to their name! Our rugs were pretty dirty after two years of apartment living with a golden retriever and a very weak vacuum cleaner. Our rugs came back looking and smelling (better than) brand new. There were a few tough stains to get out, like dog urine and a water stain, and they're gone. They were maneuvering and trying to get these screens in place all from the inside and long sticks outside. Lastly, no mention that I needed a water spout. Lucky for me I had one in my garage, but condo communities don't have that. They did offer to fix the issue within 2-3 weeks which I can be thankful for, but I didn't like the way the business was handled from the beginning and my condo was being sold.

1/21/26 Downstairs floor replacement project…read more Our downstairs flooring only lasted 4 years due to high humidity and no underlayment. When we first installed, the manufacture did not recommend an additional underlayment but the humidity simply killed our vinyl planks. We tried glue, filler and then clear tape. Nothing worked and it was simply terrible in appearance. I reached out to Alan end of last year to report the need of new flooring. He came to check out the areas and agreed it was due to humidity. We chose a new flooring only lasted color and type since our current one was discontinued. We opted for a new water resistant laminate that requires an underlayment which was needed in our case. We got the floors redone 1/21/26. The guys finished in 4.5 days. Good team and workmanship. I felt really bad that we were supposed to move all the little things beforehand and it completely slipped my mind. I thought they would move the furniture from one side of the room to the side but they ended up moving everything out in the garage. Due to all the cutting dust, everything brought out was covered in a layer of dust. I had to clean everything off upon the move back in which was tedious. I wish they would have recommended me to buy some plastic coverings. The half day on Sunday, the guys helped move the pool table back, completed last minute touch ups and re-installed my quartz on the vanity to fit under the mirror. They did a fantastic job and considering they had to reuse my old baseboards, it was nicely preserved for reinstall after the new floors were laid. Despite of the small hiccup with lots of dust on furniture, I was very satisfied with the crew's install. It's so nice to have flat and smooth floors again. As always, Alan visited in person daily to ensure progress, and address any concerns we had. We have been loyal to Alan for many years. I appreciate his continued transparency in business practice. It had been a year before I realized the staining and then another few months before I could take it in. I tried taking it to another cleaner in Newport who said it would cost $750 to clean and they weren't even sure they could get the stains out. I left and came here and they were able to get EVERY set in stain out for ~$35. My jaw dropped when I saw how clean it was - they made a badly stained dress look brand new. Forever grateful to these folks for restoring a dress with amazing wedding day memories. The staff were so kind and helpful too. Not enough great things to say about this place.

I've dry cleaned plenty of my suits here over the years, they've NEVER disappointed. I found an old white dress shirt that was ran through the washing machine and had some unsightly sweat stains on it, I bit the bullet and tried my luck here for their laundry service and WOW! It's nearly a whole new shirt! I pre-measured inseams for a few new pairs of pants to have them altered, took it in and they altered and dry cleaned my pants in maybe a day? Green Hanger rocks! This is my go-to since it's right on Macarthur too, take your business here!
