Carrabbas is one of my go to places for years now. Even on the days where nothing sounds good, Carrabbas will always hit the spot. Recently we had the flu in our house so we DoorDash some soup from carrabbas. The chicken soup is my favorite and it was especially good when I was under the weather. I also ordered the mezzaluna which is my favorite. I was congested and could only half taste it but it was still soooooo tasty lol. My boyfriend loved the lentil soup and he always changes up his entree but he's never been disappointed. Wish they would add an option to get a side of salad dressing on the order tho without having to order a whole salad. We love to dip our bread in the house dressing!! read more

I'm somewhat torn on this location. The food is usually pretty decent. The service seems to be hit or miss. The salads are always fresh, the bread is always warm, and the entrees are normally good. I will add that the shrimp scampi is also good but a tad spicy, which is surprising. The Chicken Piccata is disappointing, although it tasted a tad better than it looked. Which I'm thankful for. The Alfredo is probably one of the better dishes, and the 3 chicken meal is usually a good option. The location itself is clean and orderly. Yes, I know it's a chain and certain standards should be expected but we do have a few chains in our community that knock it out the park. It was pretty empty when we arrived and the service was great. What got me was the entrees especially at the price point. My hubs got the shrimp and scallop pasta. It was very dull. Nothing notable, just some noodles and seafood tossed in a bowl. I wanted to try their speciality bone in pork chop for the fall menu but they were out so I got the regular. Overcooked. As far as restaurants go, Carrabba's is about as middle-class as family dining gets. It does have better atmosphere than Golden Corral or many other formula retail restaurants. Carrabba's food, although good enough, is still just formula retail brand-based chain menu boring. Pricing is high when you consider the value component. It offers only a small savings on total check compared to higher-end restaurants with long-standing presence in the community. The service is certainly up to par with most retail chain restaurants. Your server will be an underpaid tip-dependent student, single parent, or part-timer working a second job, but will have an obvious desire to please you even though neither the company nor the store managers appear to appreciate them. In short, Carrabba's is just another brand operating under an umbrella hospitality group of restaurants. No surprise that it is operated on a corporate-managed formula established in a high-level management meeting room for the benefit of the shareholders rather than for the benefit of the customer experience. Compare the experience with that of going to Outback (a member of Carrabba's group) for a steak when the local steak house is the real place to spend money for a steak dinner. Still If you like Italian-themed entrées fresh from the corporate commissary, and if you need pre-calculated tip suggestions printed on your guest check, you'll find Carrabba's fills the bill. read more

We haven't been here in quite some time. Someone gave us a gift card, so we thought we'd try it. After looking online, I noticed they had lunch specials, so we opted for lunch. However, when we arrived, we were told that they no longer offer lunch specials. This was disappointing since their website still promotes it. Nevertheless, our food came out and it was very good! First visit in years. The new menu items were incredible. I had the lemon berry sangria featured from their limited summer menu. It was light, refreshing and had a kick! Also tried the watermelon basil lemonade which was even better than the name suggests. Crab cakes were listed as a new item and they did not miss! Also had the Calabrian chile butter wings they were cooked to perfection. The pomegranate martini was shaken perfectly! The bar area only had 1 server during their happy hour which is daily 4-7 so it took a while to order but once everything came out everything was on point read more

For a chain, it's really not bad. Probably one of my favorite chains. I generally go with a filet or ribeye Marsala; their Marsala sauce is really good. Fried zucchini and the "Scotty Thompson" (off the menu) are solid apps. Service can be hit-or-miss. read more

Carrabba's food is amazing, and we frequent this establishment and normally always have a great experience. This go round food was great as always, but service was ridiculous. Our servers name was Gina and she took our order and that was about it. Gina didn't get us any refills or check on us at all when we had our food. We ate then asked for a box which took approximately 15-20 minutes to get. We planned to out our favorite dessert even though we were aggravated at this point but along with the box being dropped at our table so was our check. So we felt as if that was our sign to leave. I actually love Carrabba's, and my food is always great! What I have a problem with is their cleanliness. The women's bathroom literally smells like a zoo, by the monkeys. I could not believe that they had let it get to that point the last time I went there. I almost always get my food to go, but the last time I went, I used the bathroom. I just felt dirty afterwards, and wondered how clean their standards are for the kitchen and their employees, if the bathrooms had reached the point of no standards at all. These things matter to people. It was rank! Walmart and some hole in the wall bar's have better bathrooms. I just don't understand how they could let it get so out of hand. I imagined having to work there. I would have to leave every time I had to number 2.The smell in there is just so, so awful. Anyway, get it together Carrabba's. It's time for a professional cleaning, then some serious maintenance. I've noticed that you all don't get as many customers as you used to and I suspect this may be why. It just doesn't look like you really care if you can let your bathroom get that out of hand. Bring back standards! read more

First of all let me say, I am a bread girlie all the way and theirs is probably my favorite in town and they always give me a lot of extra when I order Togo But the food is amazing as well. My go to is spaghetti with meat sauce and side salad. I've never had an issue with their service; it's amazing and everyone is so nice! Based on my last few visits, I did not come in with high hopes, so I just know I did this to myself. My parents suggested going here knowing it shouldn't be too crowded. I arrived first and there were not many people in the restaurant. I waited at the host table for at least 3 minutes or more. Several staff members walked by me and no one acknowledged my waiting there or to say it may be a few minutes. No one seemed to even see me. Once the hostess came to the table, she directed me over to our table. My parents arrived and we were quickly greeted by our waitress. We had to ask for silverware well into enjoying our bread. One drink was forgotten and we never received the lemons requested twice. Our salads arrived very fast. We didn't have time to finish them before our entrees arrived. Our salad plates were never removed. We Barely had placed our forks down when we were Handed our bill. It very much felt like we were being rushed or it was time for shift change. The food itself was good. I ordered the new grilled vegetable ravioli dish, but I think it had too much sauce (more than the online restaurant pics). My parents each said their meals were okay enough, not as good as other visits but better that some. So again, I didn't pump myself up about our visit, so it's about what I thought it was going to be. read more

We went there last night about 7:30. There were 9 people:5 adult, 2 teens2 children. We received excellent service from waitress. She earned her top for sure. Food was excellent. Even the special requests with the food was correct. When we were getting ready to leave, the box with a kid's spaghetti dropped on floor. I'm going to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt by giving them three stars simply because when I visited it was an hour before they closed. The food was not bad, but both the salad and the pasta were absolutely swimming with sauce. WAY too much on both to the point where it took away from both dishes - all I could taste was sauce/dressing. The salad was not super fresh nor was it cold either, as if it had been laying about for a few minutes. The shrimp and the mushrooms in the pasta dish were good - not overcooked and fresh. The pasta itself was OK and not overcooked. But again, way too much sauce on both salad and pasta. Again, since I was there late before closing I'm going to give the server 'some' consideration here - but service was horrible. It should be among the most basic things at an Italian restaurant for any type of linguine or spaghetti (long) pasta dish for the server to bring a large spoon as many people like to swirl their pasta onto a spoon before eating. When I asked the waitress to bring me a spoon since none was provided, I waited a good 4 minutes before catching her passing by again to remind her and only then was the spoon brought. The server also didn't check in on me during my meal to see if there was anything further that I wanted which at the prices of this mid-range restaurant should be again part of standard service procedure. I myself wanted extra iced tea during my meal and ended up not getting it because I was finished before I could get her to bring it. All in all it was not a bad meal, but at their prices it was not worth the money. I've had better meals AND service at Olive Garden for a lot less. read more

The boyfriend and I decided to take part in Carrabba's Caymus Wine Tasting mainly because we love a good glass of Caymus and secondly, it was Valentine's week. We had never tried Carrabba's before, but I can tell you that we will certainly be back! While the wine tasting portion was a bit disappointing for us, the food was dynamite and the service was great! The wine tasting left a lot to be desired given we were sandwiched so close to others we didn't know and our experience was marred a bit by obnoxious people at our table. Again...the food was great though! While we won't participate in the Wine Events again, we will definitely indulge in their cuisine again! I've been a regular at Carrabba's for as long as I can remember. Usually I have had nothing but pleasant experiences. The ambiance is nice for a family dinner or even for date night. The waiters and waitresses are generally reliable and attentive. I love the bread! The menu is mostly pasta based, but that is to be expected of an Italian restaurant. Can be expensive if you are vegan or vegetarian because you have many options to meat out but paying the same price. The last couple times I have went, I have not had the experiences I have come to expect from Carrabba's. It may be a chef issue, but in the last couple times I have went, I have had to order more sauce on the pasta or the pasta has been way too watery. To the point where I have to drown it in cheese to where I can't even taste the sauce. Further, if you use the dine rewards app, beware. It only works towards your 3 visits. The offer pouch does not count towards any other restaurant in the rewards except Outback Steakhouse. My waitress had a very difficult time explaining to me. What is the point having a linked rewards cards if you can't use the coupons at all the locations? Overall, I may probably return to Carrabba's but probably not this location. Wrote a few days after eating. Tell yourself hello when u enter. Not sure why this manager always seems cranky and the hostess doesnt like to look up. Manager even questioned the bartender on my drink. Service industry is not for him. Seriously, no smiles or welcome. He even had hostess tell a customer to move from a high top in the bar to the bar its self. I was only other customer in bar area at lunch - so what the hell? I do love the music here. Complimentary bread is cool. Bar drinks are totally chain store but thats not their fault. Bartender/server wont make it bc she actually smiles! The ambiance was nice and the server was attentive, however the price of the food vs the taste quality and portions/quantity, left much to be desired. An example from our meal: we got asked if we wanted side salads to our meal and agreed not knowing the price. The salads were $12 each, which included a handful of iceberg lettuce (our portions were mostly the stem of the lettuce) and minimal dressing. Some of the best food I've ever had was in Baton Rouge, but Italian wasn't one of them. The cuisine is simply not one of the city's strong suits and a chain like Carrabba's isn't part of the solution. My experience here was something amiss, I had hoped for more considering it was my first time at any location of the Carrabba's empire. Coming here was a little like going to Olive Garden. There was a hint of gimmick and a lot of chain. Menus were nicely designed, the place was cheesily decorated, and the vibe was undoubtably generic. The place was empty when I went, yet the service was still undeniably slow. The friendly staff tried their best to convince us that the finest chefs were working in the back and that everything was made from scratch. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a decent array of items, all of which came on a recommendation. The first round of appetizers included crab cakes and fried calamari. I love crab cakes normally, but these ones were a little on the dry side. A bit chewy from the start and not seasoned enough, they didn't exactly taste like they were fresh. The waitress was somewhat apologetic but didn't have any explanation. As far as fried calamari goes, this wasn't an ideal batch. Most of the pieces were rubbery and were generally unappetizing. I did order a caesar salad to keep my dining companions from freaking out, but even that was a bit of fail. The dressing was minimal and the lettuce appeared to be semi-wilted. For entrees we managed to score veal marsala with sauteed spinach, a house special lasagna, and breaded scallops with broccoli. The veal was unbelievably bland, though the sauteed spinach was somewhat decent. I tried my best to enjoy the lasagna, but no one at the table wanted to finish it. Somewhat underseasoned and super uninspiring, I was at the very least happy that my breaded scallops were relatively solid. The breading was thin, just enough for a crispy texture that just simply worked with the scalllops. I didn't care for the broccoli, which was pseudo-drenched in olive oil, but I was busy eating the scallops, which turned into the highlight of a very weak total variety of food. Our waitress wasn't able to defend her kitchen, but did her best to salvage the situation by talking about "New York Italian" food. She, along with my decently made scallops, has allowed for two solid stars. It's just the rest of Carrabba's that could use a lot of help. read more

Started coming here a few weeks now to enjoy the happy hour specials half off appetizers and 9oz glass for the price of a small 6 oz That is a good deal to me. They have a good variety of appetizers to choose from so far I have ordered mozzarella sticks , deep fried chicken meatballs in marinara sauce and the side salads ( Caesar and house ) the house salad has the Parmesan creamy dressing which is good And both salads are plentiful looks like a dinner salad to me. My ultimate favorite is the complimentary hot bread and herb oil dip ( not sure what the oil dip is called ) wow! soooo good I need the recipe to make at home I have also tried the lasagna dinner which is not on the discount menu. it tasted ok !!
