Turns out the people had already eaten and had such a good time they were just hanging out and talking. Colin got Tony's quickly despite being slammed with orders. We were brought water and delicious bread while we looked over the drink menu. He had good suggestions for beverages and dinner. Food was excellent and we both ended up needing "to-go" containers. We haven't had Carrrabba's in a long time and decided to stop for dinner. Party of 3, and we got seated in a booth right away. Waiter was a very nice young man. We got our drink orders and hot bread with olive oil and bread seasoning right away and orders placed. I got Chicken Piccata and you get 2 sides so I ordered sautéed spinach and angel hair pasta. Hubby got Shrimp and Scallop Linguini in Vodka sauce and our friend got Chicken Alfredo. All three of us loved our food. The flavor in the lemon butter sauce in the Piccata was delicious! Chicken was cooked perfectly as was the fresh spinach! My hubby said he would 100% get the Linguini again and my friend said her Alfredo was perfect. Not too thick but not too thin, good flavor and noodles had good chew. All in all, we were very happy. Good portion sizes, we got to go containers. I wouldn't trust this place if you have a gluten allergy.The manager seemed to care less about customer service and never even acknowledged us. The waitress told us they didn't have any gluten free pasta and then told us they did, but would take another 10-15 minutes, which wasn't a problem. Unfortunately the pasta wasn't fully cooked and they acted like we were the issue. They charged us for the soft drinks and we left a $20. My wife and I both had stomach issues later that evening. This may only be because I ordered curbside pickup because my normal experience in-store has always been positive. I ordered two orders of my favorite appetizer the crab and sausage stuffed mushrooms and always receive either 5 large or 6 average size mushrooms in-house but this order was 3 tiny mushrooms for each order with 2 containers of sauce each to dip in. Needless to say 3 of the sauces went unused. Also ordered the crab cakes(x2) and this supposed to be meals for me and a friend but either of us could have eaten the entire order by ourselves due to the tiny portions. I highly recommend you never order curbside, they do not treat you the same as if you sit down to eat. First time I can honestly say I was totally disappointed in my Carrabba's experience. read more

The food and service are always great at a Carrabba's! This place is no exception! I had an appetizer of calamari. They tasted like they were frozen and then cooked a bit too long. Or maybe they had been frozen too long. Not sure but they were kind of hard. The sauce was good - marinara and a spicy cream sauce. Though I think they would be better to eliminate the creamy texture from the sauce and just make a hot and sweet sauce. I also had a side house salad with creamy parm dressing. It was unremarkable. And the mozzarella sticks are good - large plants of cheese breaded and fried. They taste homemade. Not greasy at all. The pomegranate martini was definitely the star. A bit sweet, a touch tart and lovely fruit taste. Service was ok. We had to ask a couple times for drink refills. The ambiance is more upscale chain. Ordered food for lunch hour yesterday . Service was great, worst Italian I've ever had. The salad was the best part. Alfredo sauce was the consistency of milk. Lasagna was from the day before reheated with COLD sauce put on it. The chicken parm was good. Over all super disappointed but had a new hire with me who I was taking out to lunch. I didn't wanna make a scene. So I figured I would write a review. Never been disappointed before with Carrabbas, I don't write many reviews. But this was so disappointing I had too. Kaylin was a fantastic server tonight at Carrabba's Italian Grill in Hilliard. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we sat down. My husband and I both had the Chicken Bryan, and our son had the kids' shrimp, and everything was excellent. You can tell Kaylin genuinely cares about taking great care of her guests. Really enjoyed the experience here. A step or two up from your local OG restaurant. Warm bread served with an oil and spice 'dip' while you wait. Tuscan grilled sirloin was very good. I think Carrabba's is one of the most underrated restaurants in the Polaris area. Every time I dine there it is always fantastic. I usually get the Tuscan pork chop with Marsala sauce and it never disappoints. I also love their Alfredo sauce with linguine as a side. This location is MUCH better than the one at Polaris in pretty much every way. On my most recent visit I had great service and the food was also excellent. One thing I would highly suggest they do is gut out their booths and add new ones. My party requested a booth and quickly had to move to a table because the booths are only big enough for kids to sit in them. During the course of my meal I saw 4 other parties who were sat at booths ask to move to tables. On to the food. I got the chicken piccata with fettuccine alfredo and I must say it was exceptionally good today. Great lemon flavor on the chicken and super cheesy alfredo sauce. Only things that were meh today were the chicken soup that came with my meal (barely any chicken or noodles) and the coke was a bit flat. But neither one was atrocious. read more

The new happy hour special is awesome. A friend and I sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by the awesome bartender. He explained all of the offerings of the new menu and told us his takes on what he thought was good according to what our likes are. My friend and I got a few things off the happy hour menu to share and they were all fresh and delicious. To no fault of the restaurant, we went on carb overload and quickly got stuffed due to us also getting drinks. The drinks were tasty but not that strong which is not unexpected for a chain restaurant and on top of that it was discounted for happy hour. Ordered delivery. Bag was secured shut and everything was packed with care and was still hot upon delivery. I would have given 5 stars but everything was very salty. You need water constantly flowing in order to get through it. If it was only one thing overly salty then easily would've been at least four stars because there was really nothing else wrong with the food. Portion size for both meals were great, salads were fresh, bread was fresh and tasty (that was the only thing we could eat in addition to the salads). I mistakenly ordered a side of broccoli thinking my dish came with a side, but the pastas don't. I didn't really like the broccoli, so I was even more disappointed to find out it was extra. Oh well. None of the other side dishes really appealed to me. It seems like a weak point in their menu. What a great location!! I loved everything from the minute I sat down until I left! The waiter was great giving us a list of specials. He let us know it was happy hour, which was amazing. They had all different flavors of sangrias available . I tried the peach and blackberry. Highly recommend both of these! The appetizer came in a timely manner and wow was it delicious!! I came back here after an amazing event with Yelp Elite squad. This time my husband and I enjoyed a full meal with their new menu they rolled out. We started off with the mussels, they had a special creamy butter. The waiter of course also brought out the dangerously tasty bread and olive oil they are known for. My husband clearly enjoyed it. From there we ordered our main dinner entrees. I got this seafood combination with scallops and shrimp with their famous garlic mashed potatoes. The dish was good, it had citrus tones of flavor. Thanks to the manager in training for recommending that dish. My husband also enjoyed his three chicken combination dish with of course three different kinds of chicken. The chicken marsala and chicken Bryan are the only ones I remember clearly since he wouldn't stop raving about them as well. Carrabas clearly knew how to meet and exceed our expectations for dinner. The server was a young kid who was extremely hard working and polite. Overall, I give this meal 3 stars. First of all, the complimentary bread is very soft and fluffy and the dipping herbs are yummy. I got the eggplant Parmesan for my meal and the house salad. The house salad dressing tasted similar to Caesar but wasn't my favorite. Also, it came mixed on the salad, and I prefer to mix it in myself. The eggplant Parmesan was lacking in flavor. Toppings included a very basic tomato sauce and cheese. I got the garlic mashed potatoes as my side. They had a slightly funny taste to them and didn't taste like garlic at all. I wouldn't get this meal again but might try something else on the menu. You get a lot of food for the price. read more
